I'm gonna say Crocodile, Mr.1 aka Daz Bonez, Mihawk, Perona, Weevil & his mother, and if Doflamingo escape impel down will alliance with Buggy. I think Hancock is a question mark because I think she'll alliance with Buggy for the time being but also I could see her saying she under the Straw Hats to Coby.

Yamato staying back makes little sense unless Oda was serious about keeping the power hierarchy in the crew solid. I don't have an issue with Carrot joining. Her cohesion with the crew
has been solid so far
Actually Yamato staying back can mean a few things
1. She’s actually no longer trapped on wano the beast pirates have been defeated she wants to be accepted by the people of wano

also a new oden joining The PK crew makes sense , oden did join and he was a round Scopper/Rayleigh level if not stronger by the time he departed

I would like to see Yamato among the SH but i wouldn't be surprised if she won't join the SH crew.
She has reasons to be a member (her desire to sail and her sense of justice (no need to mention her strength 🙄)are enough to make her admitted) but if she keeps identifying as Oden, i do wonder if luffy will tolerate it.
Also, People seem to forget what Kaido said about the fruit Yamato ate that it was the embodiment of Wano's guardian 🤔 Maybe Yamato will stay to guard Wano. It would be nice if Yamato (the young master) became the new Beast pirates' captain (this way she may achieve her dream and be free/independent) and join Luffy's alliance and help him when it matters
.

Yeah and partially oden leaving was a failure on his part as a leader
He shirked a responsibility he had for better and worse
Also Yamato isn’t Oden an odd step would be Yamato being better and staying

I’m just saying Yamato staying and leaving workers either wag

Oden leaving wasn't a failure on his part. it was not tackling Kaidou from the get-go and waiting years to do so after losing popular support.

Kaidou himself admitted as such, that he would have been in trouble if Oden had actually built a rebel army the moment he returned, especially since journeying on the sea made him much stronger.

Plus, there's the fact Yamato is not the leader of anything, so he has no duty to Wano anyway. The actual leader of Wano, Momo, has already given Yamato his blessings to leave.

"I don't like the character so it must not have been made by Oda" - you can go look at Oda's literal notes to see that Yamato is his creation. I'll never understand the "blame the editor" mentality for parts of the manga that are not to the readers' tastes. I get that you're being sarcastic here, but it's become a pattern to blame editors / Oda's assistants for anything in the OP-verse that's not amazing, and credit Oda with the rest. Oda planned Wano for years (including Yamato), and I'd be very surprised if the assistants had much to do with the story beyond helping keep him
It is however only natural that readers who feel critical about something would also have a skeptical look on ever-changing editors, especially if those are the same age as the readers. I'm all for youth empowerment but ignoring maturity is also kind of disrespectful.

Part of certain quality lacks in Wano could indeed been very well due to editor changes. Wano must have been a tough product for anyone involved.

End of the day Oda never openly gives out much details about the production of One Piece, everything from his interviews, notes and the few actual photos of him or his workplace is carefully selected. The editors are too, and I since One Piece is the magazine's flag ship, I think certain higher ups from Jump and Shueisha are also informed and involved at all times. We can only speculate. Oda would be a lot more transparent about the production process in case we were not supposed to.

There are certain commercialized aspects about Wano arc such as the road to chapter 1000, or the little Uta cameo blob in Shanks recollection of memories about children. Shiki, who is much more unquestioned in canonicity was, end of the day, also most likely included to hype up Strong World back then...

If someone official would tell me "Yamato's early inclusion was for commercial reasons and the original plot was to have the character confined in a cave till the end of the arc, upon which it would have been revealed and taken in by the Straw Hats, with proper flesh out following in the next arc", I'd instantly buy it.

Because for a Straw Hat, the character is severely lacking. What is brilliant is that it is causing confusion to an audience obsessed with gender identity, that's a classical Oda, 10/10 he really knows how to play with his audience. As the usual "strong guy" Pell, Viper, Kyros kind of character, Yamato would easily work out fine, but for a Straw Hat? Any chance at a big moment is rushed over, with vs Green Bull we had this again just recently. There's also barely any interaction with the other Straw Hats.

The way One Piece is designed, it is a lot more flexible than you think it is, even tough it indeed has been planned through and through for years. Maybe next arc can sway me in, but right now I am just not feeling it. I think there are many that feel the same but are unwilling to admit, due to the character being a cause of controversy, and controversy does not go well in internet times.

I don't really get what youth empowerment or maturity has to do with it. Editors are not writing One Piece. There are zero elements going into the story that aren't approved/reviewed by the Mangaka. Especially not an entire new main character. If you don't like the character, that's fine. I think you're simply afraid to admit that Oda possibly wrote something you don't like. Do editors help with the story? Sure. I could imagine an editor floating that Buggy should be a Yonko as a joke, and Oda absolutely loving it. You know what isn't going to happen? A new character that Oda will have to plan around, draw constantly, answer SBS questions, and write specific dialogue for getting added to the story without his 100% approval. That's just silly.

Again, Yamato was introduced mid-war and we're barely a week out of that in manga time. The SHP were all spread across Onigashima. It'd of been odd if Yamato had interacted much with all of them. He's in a war, fighting the enemy, and protecting the future leader of Wano. Most of the characters were pretty stale when they were introduced and took a while to build up. Usopp, Franky (other than him destroying Pluton's blueprints), Robin, and Nami come to mind for me as characters that needed more vetting beyond their initial "join" of the crew. Not sure why you think Yamato of all of them has to be extra-involved with every member. Robin literally just snuck on their ship after Arabasta.

Does anyone know when the spoilers for the next chapter would come out? As always ( a day after the chapter is released) or a few days laters or a week later.

I recall an interview which Oda mentioned he tell his editors to not meddle with his story, and that if it fails it's his fault.

It wouldn't make sense to completely change One Piece every few years when the editor shifts... the higher ups wouldn't want that.

Also the problems with Wano cannot be the editor's fault. Really, a guy who works on a office picked up the 800 subplots that should go in Wano?

Absolutely, editors might have more say with less famous mangakas. It’s hard to believe they do as much with Oda; he probably interviews and pick them himself.

I can translate this by : It is you, I am glad to see you.

Like Luffy saying that to Yamato.

I bet it would be a chapter based on Yamato joining Strahwats.

Writes an essay full of copium about how Yamato was conceived for commercial purposes, and not really Oda's intent, and how it'd have somehow made sense for a future Strawhat to be trapped in a cave for the entire arc and introduced out of the blue after the conflict is over, only to add this little tidbit as the *actual* reason. Yeah, Oda certainly does no how to take the piss out of fans who obsess about gender identity, but somehow I doubt it's the same side of the fandom you think it is lol

Yamato is already far more developed than basically every other member of the crew was in their introduction arcs, with the only real exception being Jinbei who was a proper slow-burn of a joining process, and came out the gate being developed heavily. Who else had nearly as much development in their introduction arc as Yamato did in his? Franky? Chopper maybe?

I'd imagine it would still be open for other things, like Yamato and Luffy having a "Fight Together-worthy" moment after visiting Ace's grave and such.
