Manga+ picked up "moebana"

weird, i thought it wasn't doing well, i remember that even the author commented on the declining views on their twitter

[Thehoennhippo]

I really liked the first chapter of Moebana, will be keeping up with this one for sure.

[Mammo]

yesterday oneshot seems to be popular online

[ViraXVtuber]

That’s cool, maybe it will be serialized next year. I’m wondering though why all the sudden Jump Plus wants to simupublish in 2023? Is that potentially when a lot of stuff behind the scenes they know will be popular when they come out.

[OtterBrigade]

That was probably eventually their goal but they can't just immediately get it done. Need to make sure the services they partner with have the staff for it for example.

This Dandadan cover, damn. Great one.

[Mammo]

neat, they haven't published a non-Japaneses comic for a while, i think the last one was Shisha no 13-gatsu which was a Chinese manhua and ended last year

[tirakai]

Manga+ released the translated oneshot promoting Captain Velvet Meteor, that Jump+ crossover game (which I guess must have released in English if they're doing the oneshot).

The choice of series for that game always struck me as odd, I guess they must have been more notable when development on it first started but why Heart Gear and Slime Life and Ghost Reaper Girl?

The other five I get since they're the site's main hits (or in the case of Torture Princess, pretty much the main gag manga) but those 3 are weird since Heart Gear has been on haitus for 2 years, Slime Life finished 2 years ago, and Ghost Reaper Girl isn't a hit so much as just popular enough to stick around (at least as far as I'm aware).

[Mammo]

the serialization round for August

speaking of the devil, Slime Life author is back

[Blue16]

cute

[coldmess]

Is that second series good? I see it on Mangaplus and I’m curious about it.

that's subjective
imo Ron is fine, it started slow and took it a while for it to find its footing
but now after introducing an endgame, getting rid of the hypno powers and introducing a likeable supporting cast is consistently enjoyable
