I didn't say that I disliked her as a character or anything. She's great. But her power level is massively overrated by a large contingent of the fanbase.LMFAO Yuri vs Pedro was fire! And her fight with Karaka outside the NHS was and possibly still a top 5 fight.
I’d take Yuri over Mas all day!!!
Baam never wanted to stay in FUG because they treated him like crap.Well, Baam never wanted to stay in FUG while Rachel was fine with it. Baam was probably treated like royalty by them.
That seems to me a mix of Early Adaptation stuff (Yuri being the top dog of Season 1, power-wise) and the fact that Yuri is a more...dynamic character than most Rankers we've seen. She's more willing to take action, damn the rules and come what may, as this incident points out.I didn't say that I disliked her as a character or anything. She's great. But her power level is massively overrated by a large contingent of the fanbase.
I would think that Baam generally got whatever he asked for out of them. FUG was paying for him to live in nice houses and stuff as he climbed. He would have been supplied with an elite team had he wanted one. He chose to climb with Team Tangsooyook instead.Baam never wanted to stay in FUG because they treated him like crap.
Even putting aside the hostage stuff, Baam never got anywhere near the actual freedom and support that Rachel got.
Lol Kallavan will do that to almost every regular in the tower lol!I didn't say that I disliked her as a character or anything. She's great. But her power level is massively overrated by a large contingent of the fanbase.
She's not even the heaviest hitter in the arena she just stormed into right now. That's still Baam. He was able to hurt Kallavan, and she couldn't.
There actually is evidence . The fact that jahad princess best skill are shinsoo related and don't lag behind is enough proof of it .In this debate about Zahard’s blood power, I’m more inclined toward only body strengthening, not shinsu-related powers. By shinsu-related power I mean an affinity for absorbing shinsu. The process of blood infusion is different from what we know of normal genome transfer. Like what we see in the children of the ten great families, who take their appearance and even shinsu qualities from their parents. None of this happens for the Zahard blood. You can argue that its power is limited to shinsu strengthening, shinsu control, and body strengthening. You, however, should prove it. The appeal to common sense here doesn’t work. Common sense states that these qualities should change.
A better comparison can be made between Zahard princes and Zahard princesses. Unlike Zahard princesses, princes of Zahard took their appearance and powers from their supposed dad. Wangnan is almost immortal, and the boss can prophesize. On the other hand, the Zahard princess lacks these features. So it’s reasonable to think their shinsu power doesn’t change. Maybe, it has some influence (maybe this seems even more valid), but unfortunately, it is unproven. If there was any change in shinsu power, why has SIU never ever mentioned it? (At least, I’m not aware of it.) I always felt that influence on shinsu should be more reasonable for princesses to be the ultimate beings. I’m still waiting for an answer in the story.
About Bam’s use of shinsu to improve his physical powers, SIU once mentioned that Bam makes up for it by learning new body strengthening techniques: "Bam is the opposite of a princess, where he strengthens his physical body as much as possible by learning new Shinsu techniques." What’s more, body reinforcement uses a bang, and the power of this bang depends on its tension. The tension is not unlimited. So the relationship between the strength of his body and his ability to use shinsu better is, at least here, not necessary.
There is also the concept of shinsu resistance. As far as I know, your shinsu resistance can be high even with a weak body. The perfect example is Bam. Your body can get stronger in more concentrated shinsu, and your shinsu resistance can also get better in more concentrated shinsu. These two happen together, and the stronger your body, the better your shinsu resistance but not vice versa. So I admit that a strong body must affect the amount of shinsu you can handle because of its influence on shinsu resistance. A strong body should change its limit in absorbing shinsu. However, I’m sure shinsu resistance is the much more important factor here. So I understand where Bam ignited his thorn against Zahard and had a time limit it depended on the amount of shinsu his body could resist and his skills in controlling it. Two years of training is in no way enough to train your body to a good degree. Even the focus of the story was on his improving shinsu skills, not body training. Another point that SIU mentioned is that Bam’s body is getting stronger because of thorns, so if the main purpose of training by Evankhell was to improve his body, the better option was the use of thorns more often, not banning them.
To sum it up, we do not have evidence that shinsu affinity changes with Zahard blood. Strong bodies and shinsu resistance can be related. It might not be a coincidence that the Ha family is known for their strong bodies and shinsu reinforcement techniques. There might be the possibility that they are just more knowledgeable about these techniques. Or both possibilities may be correct. All in all, I believe that shinsu resistance and skills in controlling shinsu are the most important factors in shinsu reinforcement. So if your body is weaker, you can easily make up for it with the other two factors.
No, they are the epitome of female fighters chosen by the system. It's obvious that they would be monsters at shinsu. There actually is evidence . The fact that jahad princess best skill are shinsoo related and don't lag behind is enough proof of it .
Well, we do know because of Anak that Zahard power is inheritable through reproduction. (Anak Jr father was a random). So even if it doesn't show the typical traits of Zahard and princes it's still something like the 10gf children get, through genetics, basically irregular blood line.In this debate about Zahard’s blood power, I’m more inclined toward only body strengthening, not shinsu-related powers. For some reason I think Tiara can transform into a T-Rex and she bites off headsYuri is going to fuck tiara up
Is clear lol
Yuri taking Baam to 77 floor.
Not really? Shinsoo is always going to be extremely relevant in battle. Even the most gifted Fishermen need to have Shinsoo techniques(Reinforcement and stuff). There is no way someone's strongest technique can be used without Shinsoo. You have to take into account their other talents + other aspects like Attributes and so on.There actually is evidence . The fact that jahad princess best skill are shinsoo related and don't lag behind is enough proof of it .

Is this a joke?Bam + Yuri VS Traumerei. Who wins?
Zahard Princesses are all Zahard's potential wives and are forbidden to marry so that Zahard's power won't spread. In the end they are not his biological children . A true kid of Zahard would inherit his physical abilites and other talents like his Shinsoo Attributes. The Princesses have none of that. It's always about the physical abilities. They aren't really like descendants from the other warriors.Well, we do know because of Anak that Zahard power is inheritable through reproduction. (Anak Jr father was a random). So even if it doesn't show the typical traits of Zahard and princes it's still something like the 10gf children get, through genetics, basically irregular blood line.
Regulars get to every floor and sign a contract to be able to use shinsu at all on said floor (until they get the Ranker contract to override the previous cap). I am having a hard time believing someone with added irregular power/genes like a Zahard princess would get the same contract that she would otherwise get without said power.
Talking about Baam, i simply disagree with the part about the training not making his body stronger. Ha Chai also told him that from that point on both his body strength and shinsu abilities will both keep growing at a way faster rate. I think it just adds to the other many instances that show clear correlation between body strength and shinsu abilities. Ask a random tower resident, unable to use shinsu but that practices every day, to punch a Poe Bidau tower resident, I am sure that it will hurt but not for the Poe Bidau, even if they never went to the gym once in their life.
yeah, sort of.Is this a joke?
True, I said the normal genome transfer we've seen in families grants their children other qualities. But Zahard's blood doesn't, and we are sure that it makes their bodies stronger. So why should we assume how much princesses will change? If you're saying that their abilities to absorb shinsu change, you should prove it. It might not be one of those changes you mention.Well, we do know because of Anak that Zahard power is inheritable through reproduction. (Anak Jr father was a random). So even if it doesn't show the typical traits of Zahard and princes it's still something like the 10gf children get, through genetics, basically irregular blood line.
As far as I know, these different contracts we've seen were from only rankers. For regulars, they are granted the ability to use shinsu. You've assumed that because different rankers get different contracts, it's logical for regulars to get different contracts as well. This has not mentioned whether regulars get privileged contracts or not. For rankers, there might be the possibility that, based on their performance and potential so far, they get their rewards by having a better contract. Rankers' contracts are almost free of limitations compared to what regulars get.Regulars get to every floor and sign a contract to be able to use shinsu at all on said floor (until they get the Ranker contract to override the previous cap). I am having a hard time believing someone with added irregular power/genes like a Zahard princess would get the same contract that she would otherwise get without said power.
I was saying that 'the main purpose' behind the training was not his body. It's obvious that his body gets stronger through training. He wanted to build a strong foundation for his powers. I also explained my reasons why shinsu resistance is the more important factor here. Let me clarify if I didn't explain my position clearly. I think that a stronger body makes you better able to resist shinsu. So it pushes the limit of your body's ability to absorb shinsu further ahead. What I disagreed with some guys here is that it doesn't change your affinity for absorbing shinsu (like what wave controllers have), and the second point was that other factors are more important. Actually, I took a middle ground that change the limits for absorbing shinsu, but how much faster or the possibility of reaching that limit is something else that Zahard blood has nothing to do with.Talking about Baam, i simply disagree with the part about the training not making his body stronger. Ha Chai also told him that from that point on both his body strength and shinsu abilities will both keep growing at a way faster rate. The shinsu contract Regulars have to make on every floor in order to use shinsu should obviously vary the maximum quantity at their disposal, otherwise if it was just a "sign here if you want to use shinsu" then it wouldn't limit Baam in any way, instead it's a shackle for him.True, I said the normal genome transfer we've seen in families grants their children other qualities. But Zahard's blood doesn't, and we are sure that it makes their bodies stronger. So why should we assume how much princesses will change? I don't think or imply that Baam body strength will surpass Ha Yurin body strength even if Baam becomes 10x stronger than her or has 50x her shinsu ability. It's pretty much always the same thing when Baam's physical abilities are mentioned. People just want Baam to be perfect at absolutely everything but it's not possible. Everyone has their specs. This was always the reason why I disagreed with people saying he was from the 10 Families. Baam's physical abilities are average, but he makes up for it with his Shinsoo skills which are probably above Blosom.
Facts are that: All the FHs have above average physical abilities, with Ha and Zahard at the top. Also, comparing Baam to the other Irregulars, it was made clear that in terms of pure potential, he and Zahard are above the others. Urek should be up there as well.
The issue is that we don't know much about V and Arlen. Since Baam's physical abilities are average then one of them probably had average physical abilities. What we do know is that V was great at Tension and Arlen at spells. Baam obviously inherited V's talent for Tension and he is immune to spells, but what we know about Arlen is less generic.
My guess is that V was the one with average physical abilities(or maybe it's specific only to Baam but we may never know). I guess V because if Arlen had accepted to marry Zahard, the Zahard Princess project would have never been a thing. Which means that she was strong enough to bear Zahard's children( the other female Irregulars were as well obviously but he had no romantic feelings for them).
Obviously you can raise your abilities with training, Baam constantly gets stronger physically, but he is "naturally inferior" to most 10F members in terms of physical abilities. It's not something that can change. The Thorn also boosts his physical and Shinsoo stats so it's a big deal. When Baam is fighting people who are in his league he is never really relying much on martial arts, he always fights like a Wave Controller.
Not really? Shinsoo is always going to be extremely relevant in battle. Even the most gifted Fishermen need to have Shinsoo techniques(Reinforcement and stuff). There is no way someone's strongest technique can be used without Shinsoo. You have to take into account their other talents + other aspects like Attributes and so on.
Zahard is THE Fisherman, strongest body among the Irregulars, but he is also great at Shinsoo, still obviously there is no way he is better at it than Blosom or Gustang. Other things that we know is that he has his Golden Needle Shinsoo and is great at using Needle. His strongest move was Cosmos or something, right? He used his Lecalicus for that, + Golden Needle Shinsoo. Obviously with his physical strength and Shinsoo Reinforcement it makes everything stronger.
Jinsung is a Ha, who are physical monster, and his strongest attack also requires Shinsoo. Thanks to Shinso Reinforcement and his physical skills, the attack is naturally stronger. Obviously the princesses from 10F Families rely on the talents inherited from their parents. Getting Zahard blood won't change that.
Maschenny's greatest strengths aren't Shinsoo Control. It's Spear Bearing + Electric Shinsoo specifically at the very least. With Zahard Blood, her physical abilities get stronger which affects all techniques which aren't purely Shinsoo techniques.

Wangnan is a mystery for now but because of the striking physical resemblance you can't help but believe that he might be his biological child.

Honestly I never thought about this too much. It's easy to link up physical abilities but Shinsoo is far too complex. There is the amount you have, Baang, Myun, Soo, Tension, Shinsoo Resistance, Shinsoo Reinforcement, your basic control skills, Attributes, talents like Plus Tendency etc. Look at A.A. for example, he is a Spear Bearer-Light Bearer hybrid. He was always one of the strongest melee fighters of the team and has great physical abilities but during the training at the HF he had trouble making a single Baang.I don't think or imply that Baam body strength will surpass Ha Yurin body strength even if Baam becomes 10x stronger than her or has 50x her shinsu ability.
As i said, just because i see there being a correlation between body strength and shinsu limit/power it's clearly of varying degree someone may have them grow close to a 1:1 ratio, others even to a 1:50 possibly. But regardless, at some point you will have to grow both, and if you are an High Ranker for example you are capable of fulfilling every position. Sure a bottom tier High Ranker wave controller won't be an High Ranker tier fisherman or defender but he will still go toe to toe with Pam as a fisherman.
So having a body strengthen by 50x or 100x should clearly imo also strengthen the shinsu power/limit of said person. I could see princesses having 50x stronger bodies and 2x strengthened shinsu power, or 2x the shinsu limit. But i don't see the stats not being related at all, as the correlation between strong body - strong shinsu seem everywhere.
What peons like them say or think becomes meaningless once an Irregular gets involved. Rachel wants something and Maschenny said something. Gustang decreed otherwise, and that's all there is to it.It would be foolish for AA to believe he’s in the clear here… he and Rachel want one another dead!!! Way too convenient. Mas did say that it’d be difficult for them to see Baam again!
