Shinsoo is everything and anything. All in the Tower is made of Shinsoo, including the elements, light, heat, matter, etc. This is why it's Divine Water. Shinsoo exists even in a vacuum.
Everything is created through the limits of the user's Shinsoo control and manipulation skills and techniques. This would include all the items, tools, equipment, machinery, battle skills, and industrial and domestic structures created by the Tower residents and nature/landscape and other denizens created by the Tower/Administrators. Even life can be created from Shinsoo as rumors attribute to Enryu.
Hence we can conclude that Shinsoo is a substance created by the Tower. A substance that is the fundamental component of all that is in the Tower.

There's a hierarchy to the control of this substance:

1. The Tower itself.

2. Those whom the Tower has given direct control; the Administrators and the Irregulars.

3. Those who have established a contract with the Administrators.

4. Normal Tower born residents.

Then you have the Thorn, Enryu, and Phantaminum. Phantaminum, an Axis, can destroy the Tower in an instant, however, the heretical ability of the Thorn and/or Enryu means that until further information on their attributes and power becomes clearer, we don't know where we can rank them, directly under Phantaminum or directly under the Tower itself.

I wouldn't say Alien, but perhaps fundamentally fundamental, as in, they are creatures of the Tower that near Administrators in rank. If Admins are responsible for the laws in a floor, the pure Native One should be the Shinheuh version of an Irregular: someone with special permissions above all other Shinheuh. And rational/sentient.

I think Shinworyu is sort of like using the fundamental laws of physics, like nuclear power rather than fire/heat/wind. By using the fundamental forces of Nature: Weak nuclear, Strong nuclear, Magnetic and Gravity, one can create all the others. And imo that's what happens with irregulars and Native Ones: they can work with the very base of Shinsoo, giving them top priority effects on Shinsoo. At least that's the impression I get, Shinsoo is a fictional element, it can work anyeay the author wants, lol.
To me its a stretch to connect the native ones and shineuh like that. Shineuh are basically animals while the native ones were actual people. Something else I used to think was that shinwonryu was like a form of quantum shinsoo control and what you said made me remember it... As in, with normal shinsoo control you'd control atoms. But with shinwonryu you'd control shinsoo at a quantum level, as in subatomic shinsoo control.

While rereading I reached the part where Evankhell talked about Lepavuv's ability. She said that Guardians sometimes restrict abilities that are too powerful but that some people can overcome these restrictions.

It made me wonder, was she referring to Irregulars? Or does it mean that there are people born inside with the ability to do this? The way she said it implies that there are non-Irregulars who can do this, don't you think? If she was talking about Irregulars only, she could have just said it.

I always thought this was about rules. As in HxH Nen mechanics, how Gon surpassed his current level by making a hugely bad pact. Lepavuv shouldn't have that ability and yet she did, in Exchange for a weakness. That's what I think goes on.

Lepavuv's case is different if I understood correctly. There are two cases:
  1. Your ability is too powerful so the Admin nerfs it.
  2. You make a contract with the Admin to get a powerful ability but with a limit.
Lepavuv is the second case. And Evankhell said that sometimes, people who fit case 1 can overcome the nerf.

I read that... but given the context I think the right interpretation is that this concerns really powerful abilities which administrators grant rankers. In that sense, broken abilities which people develop on their own are basically fair game. Levapuv has powerful shots but you'd think an irregular like eduan would be able to outdo her sniping with his spearbearing... The possibility that there are people who can overcome the restrictions set by administrators is interesting though. Though if other restrictions are similar to the recoil levapuv experiences then it's not a stretch to imagine a character becoming strong enough to handle said recoil. Or, say, imagine if levapuv had karaka's abilities... She could basically respawn and keep firing.

Evankhell and Kheil have serious restrictions, and we can't put that in the 'fairness' bag imo after seeing Evk fighting a whole Squadron on her own and still not going full release. What I think happens is 2 things:

-1st situation (standard): naturally OP people are restricted no matter what situation and have to conform to the same power cap that everyone, having to get better at basic skills rather than relying on their OPness.

-2nd situation (Advanced): in order to make way for their abilities to shine, they voluntarily create restrictions to their use in Exchange for the freedom to use them at some points. Regulated abilities then can be approved by admins and not be considered abusive because of these conditions, which are better than a full ban.

Just like Kurapica can ask for an OP chain that forces enemy into Zetsu by swearing it will only be used on the Ryodan, I could see a similar permit to use OP abilities "as long as above a certain floor and outnumbered", or "only against members of Jahad's army", or even "I have to be badly injured to resort to it".
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Not being a Fake OP ability, but a natural one, their conditions could likely be lighter than Lepavuv's and not result in any power downgrade. But they would have to be regulated. Think of Marvel's Civil War, when govs wanted to regulate improved humans because they could be dangerous and unfair: Admins' obsession with fairness might go that way. It also relates to the greek concept of metreon applied to heroes' conduct, but that's a much longer post, lol.

Evankhell or Khel Hellam are most likely just bound by the admin, they can't get past a certain limits but it's not like they'd suffer rebounds or side effects if they use mighty power. They're naturally this powerful as opposed to Lepavuv who is originally weak (in comparison) and passed a contract to obtain the two shots.

No, they are the epitome of female fighters chosen by the system. It's obvious that they would be monsters at shinsu.
I mean it is simple logic if you shinsoo ability are 3 more powerful than you physical prowess then if you take Zahard blood which given 10 to 100 body strength , you shinsoo ability should lag behind .

Everything show that it is the contrary because princess are know for they shinsoo ability and skill at high level .

It's pretty much always the same thing when Baam's physical abilities are mentioned. People just want Baam to be perfect at absolutely everything but it's not possible. Everyone has their specs. This was always the reason why I disagreed with people saying he was from the 10 Families. Baam's physical abilities are average, but he makes up for it with his Shinsoo skills which are probably above Blosom.
Yes Baam is going to be perfect at everything , that is what a irregular is . You guy should just stop with the Baam body is weak and average . This is simply not true , all FH have monstruous body , shinsoo ability and you mean to tell me that Baam is the only one with a average body or maybe you think some FH have average body compared to other top tier ? Sure you could speak among a average among irregular , but i am sure all FH physical ability are far superior to no irregular physical body .

If you are irregular you are almost destined to end with a peak a body .

Because you guys refuse to understand let me explain it to you , why Baam had so many problem with his body .

1. You guys need to realize that you body is something that grow gradually in TOG mostly with time , you body get harder with time .
2. Baam entered the tower as a newbie and with zero stat , that mean his body was weak as hell , even weaker tha fodder .
3. Baam shinsoo progress isn't gradual due to the torn , he can become 10 stronger with his shinsoo skill in the next arc but his body can't .
4. Baam is fighting guy who leaved for century and thousand of years , so it is normal that they body are far stronger and sturdier than Baam .

If you really think Baam body is weak and average , do you think that Baam at his peak will have a body that can't match the like of Kallavan ? or top princess .

Do you think that at Baam if he start a family , his children will have far inferior to other child of GW ?

Give Baam thousand years and he would crush Kallavan without any shinsoo reinforcement .
Facts are that: All the FHs have above average physical abilities, with Ha and Zahard at the top. Also, comparing Baam to the other Irregulars, it was made clear that in terms of pure potential, he and Zahard are above the others. Urek should be up there as well.
Not just above average , they physical ability are unmatched and only other irregular can match them .

Let me ask you a question , why do you think that family of GW have the best physical ability ? Couldn't it be because GW have monstruous body too ?
My guess is that V was the one with average physical abilities(or maybe it's specific only to Baam but we may never know). I guess V because if Arlen had accepted to marry Zahard, the Zahard Princess project would have never been a thing. Which means that she was strong enough to bear Zahard's children( the other female Irregulars were as well obviously but he had no romantic feelings for them).
I really don't understand this point . It is pretty clear when you read TOG , that there is some sort of balance between the body and you shinsoo ability , even monster like jahad princess and Kallavan , have shinsoo ability who match they physical ability . Outside of Baam i am not sure you could find a example of a fighter whose shinsoo output or ability are far above or below is physical body .

There is no chance that a FH who are god at shinsoo don't have godly body . Heck you have FH who use flame , who use anima to fight but still have child with crazy body .

Mayme i am missing something and you are saying that they are average compared to other GW , but i wouldn't call them average , the same way i would never say that any FH is average at handling shinsoo .
Obviously you can raise your abilities with training, Baam constantly gets stronger physically, but he is "naturally inferior" to most 10F members in terms of physical abilities. It's not something that can change. The Thorn also boosts his physical and Shinsoo stats so it's a big deal. When Baam is fighting people who are in his league he is never really relying much on martial arts, he always fights like a Wave Controller.
This simply isn't true . Baam is heavily gifted everywhere .

Not really? Shinsoo is always going to be extremely relevant in battle. Even the most gifted Fishermen need to have Shinsoo techniques(Reinforcement and stuff). There is no way someone's strongest technique can be used without Shinsoo. You have to take into account their other talents + other aspects like Attributes and so on.

Please do read careful before answering my point . Because most of what you just said my point , shinsoo is everything , but if jahad blood only boosted they body , they body should be they body but it isn't the case , they shinsoo attack with lottle reliance on body ability are they best attack .
Zahard is THE Fisherman, strongest body among the Irregulars, but he is also great at Shinsoo, still obviously there is no way he is better at it than Blosom or Gustang. Other things that we know is that he has his Golden Needle Shinsoo and is great at using Needle. His strongest move was Cosmos or something, right? He used his Lecalicus for that, + Golden Needle Shinsoo. Obviously with his physical strength and Shinsoo Reinforcement it makes everything stronger.
Zahard isn't just great at shinsoo , he is a beast . In fact Zahard shinsoo skill are far far far higher than his physical ability

Because you guys can't seem to grasp simple argument , let me use Baam , Baam shinsoo ability far outpace is physical ability because of the torn , which mean Baam body always look weak or average because of it , despite Baam having a talented body . The princess should be the opposite where they body are they best asset which isn't the case .

This isn't true , i also don't count lecalius as part of Zahard skill and it is clear that peak Zahard don't use that needle anymore . Zahard best attack if we remove Lecalius is a shinsoo skill only .

The most important thing in TOG are you shinsoo skill , Enryuu is better because his shinsoo skill are far superior to Zahard , even if Enryuu were inferior physically his shinsoo skill would be what matter .

Zahard most definite traits his not his body , it his shinsoo skill and output . Same for Koon is best skill are electricity based which is shinsoo .
Maschenny's greatest strengths aren't Shinsoo Control. It's Spear Bearing + Electric Shinsoo specifically at the very least. With Zahard Blood, her physical abilities get stronger which affects all techniques which aren't purely Shinsoo techniques.
It actually is , data maschenny proved it , her best attack was a thunder which is a shinsoo attack not a physical ability .

They are not purely shinsoo but still shinsoo based , you do realize electric shinsoo is still shinsoo , so at least half of her ability seems shinsoo based ? Saying her greatest strength isn't shinsoo at least seems half wrong .

What about Kallavan , who are even more skewed toward physical ability but they best attack are purely or mainly shinsoo based .

Again the thing that matter the most if shinsoo .

Just for fun i asked a couple of times these questions to chat gpt. Overall once pushed he doesn't really rule out the possibility of Zahard power only improving physical abilities. But no matter the way i phrase the questions at the end of the day when giving an estimate it goes to say that the chances of Zahard power in princesses increasing both physical and shinsu related abilities is somewhere between 60-90% (only once i got it as low as 60, but all the other 4 times I got it to make an estimate, he was predicting 80%+)

Overall it says definitive proof lacks, but it's clearly siding with the both physical and shinsu boost.
While it was also claiming that there are good chances that even a solely physical boost would indirectly help with shinsu abilities.
He also unprompted made an argument of Jahad power possibly giving different lvls of said boost depending on the specific princess inherent traits but with a very low chance.
He also claimed that in an eventual case of the power only boosting physical strength, the following indirect shinsu abilities improvement may depend on said princess having reached a possible "ceiling" with shinsu yet. So like saying that maybe if Elaine becomes a developed Ranker and then turned into a princess she might not improve shinsu abilities, but if she became one before reaching said ceiling she might improve.
Interesting points imo

The shinsu contract Regulars have to make on every floor in order to use shinsu should obviously vary the maximum quantity at their disposal, otherwise if it was just a "sign here if you want to use shinsu" then it wouldn't limit Baam in any way, instead it's a shackle for him.
We know that's the case because Urek shows that Administrator shinsu control > Irregular shinsu control even if they are free of contracts, meaning that administrator shinsu contracts limit irregular shinsu at their disposal, becoming a shackle, in regards to other tower residents, not in an Admin vs Irregular sense because the Admin always has full shinsu control in every floor regardless of contracts.
I don't disagree that admins on different floors might give a different maximum capacity. After all, regulars get better at controlling shinsu as time passes. I meant that the maximum capacity might not be different for everyone, in other words, a privileged contract. I don't think that everyone could reach the limit that the admins set for them. Not everyone is blessed with shinsu the same.

Ran's body was much weaker than Anak, a Zahard princess but overwhelm her with his superb shinsu control. Even she was very good at controlling shinsu and could produce more bangs than Ran. Ran's techniques were superior and we all saw the result. The numbers you give are arbitrary and don't prove your point. This is simply wrong. His body was weak compared to the children of other great families. The bodies of those like Khun, Ran, and Ehwa were emphasized to be very sturdy and strong. And we even saw them in action. These regulars I mentioned were very young and didn't have time to grow stronger in thousands of years like what you described. Bam, however, was told that his body is fragile. One example I remember now was when he fought with the second mad dog of Yama. He told Bam your weakness is his body and that is growing to get stronger. At the time, SIU explained that his body is getting better because of the thorn. All the evidence shows that his body was weak and if something changes the situation, his latent abilities and thorn come to mind.

I mean, are you only referring to regulars? Because Urek's immense strength tiptoes the scale, one could argue that shinsoo control or immense strength are both relative (each have their own peculiarities)

I would say that an administrator probably has good eyes to assess a Regular shinsu affinity and potential. If the admin looks at Shibisu and makes him a personal contract, specifically for shinsu utilization, and it turns out to be different from the contract the administrator might have made after looking at Endorsi i wouldn't say it's a matter of privilege, or based on a whim of the administrator, but rather it's simple genetic lottery and talent difference. The administrator as an "impartial" entity will simply evaluate a person and offer an adequate contract so that they won't be limited. But i understand the "it's just skill" approach. I don't think there really is definitive proof of either view from the things we know for certain

The example was about regulars, yes but you can argue it for others too. Urek's body is incomparable to others but we witnessed what he did with one percent of shinsu control without any techniques. I don't know if you see my post about this topic. I agree that a strong body can change your limit for absorbing shinsu.

I didn't choose my word precisely. By privilege, I didn't mean admins aren't being fair. I meant different contracts for different talents.

Weaker for sure , much weaker by what ?

This isn't true , the manwha disprove what you just said at they first meeting Ran use his shinsoo skill alone but can't compare with Anak and the second time he used the lighting pill with use a mix of physical ability and shinsoo electricity plus martial art .

No anak suck as using shinsoo and i don't think you can prove me otherwise .

Of course my number are arbritary , i took it to make a point . But hey if you think i am wrong what are the number , because you guys claimed that it was 10000 amplification .

I mean my point was that shinsoo is what matter the most , thanks for making my point ....
This is simply wrong. His body was weak compared to the children of other great families. The bodies of those like Khun, Ran, and Ehwa were emphasized to be very sturdy and strong
Sure his body is weak , compared to child who had time to train before entering the tower , let us ignore that ....

They didn't have to train for thousand years for sure , but they decade to own they body and skill , while Baam was hanging in a a cave doing nothing for years , i mean pretty much everything support my point . Baam was the most unimpressive irregular in both shinsoo skill and physical ability , sure he did some tricks but overall there were powerful wave controller with him , Yuri stated that he looked unimpressive and we other irregular didn't enter as weak as Baam .

We know for a fact children of GF train a lot before entering the tower and yet you compare to BAam , make no sense to me .

It is funny how you pick and chose what argument you want to answer .

So i will repeat myself if Baam is inferior to Khun , Yihwa and Ran in physical aspect , does that mean at his peak Baam if he were to get a family with normal women, his children will be far more inferior to other children of GW ?

Second question, we know that all irregular have monstrous body and it is why they child have crazy body , so his Baam going to be the exception where without reinforcement they will be able to easily take 100 or 1000 Baam ?

Sure ....

You do realize that you body grow with time in TOG right and that when he met mad dog , he had spent like what 5 years in TOG ?
All the evidence shows that his body was weak and if something changes the situation, his latent abilities and thorn come to mind.
My point isn't that Baam wasn't weak , but that Baam body and shinsho ability was weak because he just got in the tower ?

So let me ask you , we saw Baam attack top tier with his fist and other martial art and you think that Baam body is still inferior to AA , Yihwa , Ran and that everything is just shinsoo reinforcement ?

I mean Baam doesn't have any problem with his body , and the same mad dog you mentionned got hurt when hitting BAam body , when BAam was holding back , BAam is casually engaging HR in close fight , what weakness are you even speaking about .

I'd like to start this by saying great chapter. After reading majority of these post I have to point out a few things about Baam's physical abilities. 1st Beam's body is wayyy Superior to children of the 10 great families, we all forget Baam is also a child from irregulars, infact 2 irregulars. After part 3 Baam's natural body was hard enough that one of the top 10 C-class regulars Varagarv punched Baam and he received damage. This was Baam without using shinshoo, if Baam used shinshoo he'd easily tank that attack. This was earlier season 3. This fight just now, a Ranker grabbed hold of Baam and slammed him to the ground and it did 0 damage, like absolutely no damage. Lastly I'd like to remind everyone Baam isn't a tanker. His fist don't do damage, he's a speedster, he gets up close and personal a hits them with a piercing butterfly. It'll be more beneficial to focus on speed then endurance. I believe it'll take a while before Baam gets Kallivan's body endurance.

The thing is, everyone and their mothers past a certain point always has shinsu reinforcement active. Baam never "turns it off" at least completely especially in a fight.

In the same way we will never see Ran, Ehwa or Aguero fighting cqc without being reinforced.
To prove something about physical strength you would need to be against an administrator.
S3 Baam never fought without it.

That said i don't see Baam's body right now being weaker than an Aguero or Ehwa. Baam's physical body strength is growing for a fact, and ever since the training with Ha Chai it is confirmed to keep growing at a *faster* rate than ever before.

I could see Baam having just reached relative parity with other GF Regulars (even tho i would already consider him superior, at least excluding Ha's), but for sure he will grow to be sturdier than any other Regular eventually.

I could see Baam having just reached relative parity with other GF Regulars (even tho i would already consider him superior, at least excluding Ha's), but for sure he will grow to be sturdier than any other Regular eventually.
the only logical explanation for baam's weak physical strength is that he was already too OP without strong physical abilities due to thorn as well as sun so author made him weak physically. Even the physically weakest family head has insanely bodily strength, and their whole generation (no matter how little blood they have) has it, i dont think V or arlene was fragile like baam, sure there might be chance that they had weakest physical body among family heads and zahard, but it still does not make sense that baam has such a weak physical body. Or baam didnt awaken his physical talent yet? Or the price for reincarnation was a fragile body like baam's? Just like yin body on webnovel which they have their 9 qi point or whatever blocked, though that is impossible :smile-big

As for baam's physical strength, i dont think he reached the level of regular zahard princess, but he must have surpassed GF regulars including Ha's(except genius regulars like yuri) i guess? Baam needs to lift weights not go outside to the world learning martial art techniques...

For a long while my stance has been that bam's physical strength is low simply because he hasn't trained his body all that much. We have seen glympses of aguero's childhood and we saw that members of his family got pretty brutal training from fairly early on. Great family kids enter the tower with a few decades worth of physical training. There's no specific reason for bam to not be at least average by great family standards on the physical strength department.

TBH at the time I thought she was specifically referring to non irregulars. Irregulars are the ones that ultimately get the most, if not all, privileges. Take the single most OP ability in the tower as of now: bam's loop. The ability is so grotesquely OP it pretty much breaks combat in the tower. It's fundamentally beyond what any non irregular can even dream of. And yet no admin has gone out of his way, yet, to limit the ability. Basically the tower would object more to the peasants getting a broken skill than it would bam or zahard, fairness be dammed.

I think that it's full of possible reasons, we might never really get an answer.
My opinion is that while Aguero for example as an extremely gifted GF descendant has been training since he was little, was already familiar with shinsu reinforcement even before becoming a Regular for example, Baam literally did nothing.
He was living in a cave, without shinsu probably. Once he started training results came really fast but still, before S3 he had been in the Tower for what ? 6 years ? For sure he is not that gifted in physical strength, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter because eventually he will become a monster compared to a normal GF Regular, the amount of Shinsu circulating in his body is so much that he will just keep growing.
