If it's the Battle Of FT arc I also give it to Mystogan. Mirajane is strong but drew her MP from Freed and failed against Azuma. And I consider Myst's performance much better than Base Natsu and Base Gajeel against Laxus.

Mirajane wouldn't have done better than Mystogan against Laxus. He was the only one that Laxus considered a threat in the battle. Mystogan has very few feats, but Mashima has been clear that he is on the same level as Laxus, unlike Erza and Mirajane who have always been portrayed as inferior to Laxus until the Alvarez arc for Erza.

Mira was only equal to Erza.

Mirajane wasn't Erza's equal prior to the 7-year timeskip. Their performances against Azuma should speak volumes. One admitted she couldn't defeat him, the other defeated an amped version of him.

The only time Erza and Mira were equals was in GMG, when Mira caught up with her three months of training and Erza hadn't unleashed her second origin yet.

Exhausted Mira did better against Azuma then Erza before the PoF hit and he got buffed by the tree lmao. You guys forget Mira only lost bcs she was low on magic and had to prevent Lisanna from dying. She said she couldn't beat him in her exhausted state but seeing how much damage he took from her and how little attacks landed during their battle. Mira had the upper hand. She just didn't have time to take him down before Lisanna kicked the bucket.

Mystogan wasn't Laxus level. He did nothing to Laxus left bcs he thought Erza could handle it lol.

I disagree. Laxus casually oneshotted Natsu and Gajeel with a single roar while Erza fought Natsu had the potential to be on her level. Laxus also did significantly better against Hades than Team Natsu and Erza was completely in awe of his power. LFD Natsu had mostly Natsu's power.

It doesn't matter whether Erza was on PoF or not. Azuma didn't use all of Tenrou’s MP against Erza, obviously. He still used Terra Clamare on her twice and never did that against Mira.

She did. She only stopped bcs of Lisanna. Mira couldn't finish the battle before Lisanna exploded. She had landed more hits on Azuma and had less damage on her therefore she had the upperhand.

It does since PoF Erza isn't standard Erza. Bcs he couldn't catch Mira. He literally failed to explode when he trapped her and Mira didn't use soul extinction either.

Erza did way better against Azuma than Mira did. Against Mira he was mostly fist fighting against Erza he was mostly using his magic.

Even before the POF came in at the end Erza was doing better against massively amped Azuma. Way stronger than the one Mira fought. And Azuma admitted it was the first time he truly feared an opponent meaning Erza was likely the strongest person he fought.
