SIU stated that shinsu is a substance. Inside the Tower, shinsu replace air (Outside world has air while Tower has shinsu). Of course there is some differences as shinsu can be appear as water, fire, light, and other materials.

Energy is not material substance but it can be stored in material substance.

Isn't substance a physical matter? Of course it create confusion because in ToG terminology, there are physical attack/resistance and shinsu attack/resistance. But those shinsu attack are actually in the form of water/fire/lightning, etc which is a physical matter. It seems physical attack/resistance is about solid material while shinsu attack/resistance is about non-solid material.

When you talk about energy in the Tower, that is the form that shinsoo is taking. There is no difference from energy and shinsoo while in the Tower. If energy is being wielded, transferred, stored, or exerted - it does so as shinsoo.

Shinsoo is basically Bleach's reishi, and shinsoo manipulation is basically what Quincy do with reishi.

I can agree with this. The shield has eyes IIRC. Implying something living, possibly shinheuh-esque about it.

Edit, I mean Rei's version of allsummons, which I think is shinwonryu fused with anima-manifestations. His version of whatever his olive hue that glows with his gold summons.

Shinsu is a substance, it also contain energy, not the energy itself. Just like substance cannot exist without energy, shinsu cannot exist without energy. Therefore, energy is not a form of shinsu, rather, it's the essential thing needed to form shinsu. Even IRL, every substance/matter (water, oxygen, metal, etc) contain energy, they can't exist without energy.

The e=mc2 equation? Note that the equation only apply when particle is at rest (momentum [p] =0). Energy can exist without matter/substance (substance is matter with uniform properties, matter is anything that has mass). The complete formula is actually e2=p2c2+m2c4, so even without matter (mass [m]=0), energy can exist, the formula will be e=pc.

If energy is being wielded, transferred, stored, or exerted - it does so as shinsoo.

In this case, shinsu is the medium, it can be used to transfer energy (such as firefish flame), it can manipulated to deliver the force (such as in shinsu attack). How good a wave controller depend on their power to control shinsu.

Note that in conversation with Eduan, Rak ask for power, not for shinsu. SIU always use distinct word for shinsu and power because they are different. If power and shinsu are the same thing, Rak only need to have Baam inject him with shinsu.

Nb: technically energy and power is different but I'm not sure if SIU differentiate it.

There is no air inside the tower, what everyone breathe is shinsu. SIU stated this.

There are proofs that shinsu and energy are different:

• Endorsi cannot recharge Bong Bong's battery with shinsu but it can be recharged with the battery of the blaster Hatz got from Workshop.
• 4th Army Corp flagship run on shinsu combustion engine which is literally an engine that generate energy using shinsu as its fuel. It means energy is not a form of shinsu, instead, shinsu is a fuel to generate energy.

It is used as leverage. Remember when Traum said he must own Baam as Baam posses the memory? What happen if Baam escape from the mothership? Traum will then have no choice but to accept AA's challenge as he need to recover Baam.
