Hm this chapter could end up being the end of Egghead arc. If the chapter focuses on SHs escaping he could have them leave now and say the message went out to the world. Would be cool if we got a short timeskip from this break where the SHs are already on Elbaf like a month or two later, training with the giants to get stronger. And we get to learn via flashbacks what the announcement was and why the SHs are training and state of the world etc

I guess the Gorosei aren't anything special in combat power if they can get folded after having that epic entry last week. I'm not saying they will get beaten, just that they apparently take a good beating. Oh well. My bad thinking too highly of them.

Thinking back, Imu was the one who ate Sabos attack and injured both Cobra and Sabo while they were running away. Imu also was suddenly behind them. Is this my new copium?

They actually need to hold for more than 5-7 minutes since we need to count the time necessary for VP to deliver his speech, and he is not going to deliver a shocking truth to the world in 10s. Let’s say he needs a 10mn speech, that makes 15-17 minutes.

Actually, what if he already made the upload and all dendenmushi can then reproduce the message, but the one on egghead is destroyed and then there is the only place which the message is not transmitted?

I agree that their fighting capabilities haven't been super impressive or at least not up to par from what allot of us expected them to be, except Warcury's insane Haki feat against Luffy even though Luffy shook it off and Mars strong Haki that Jinbei sensed has been the most impressive feats thus far. The real problem is their seemingly endless regenerative capabilities + their immortality is what makes them unbeatable at moment or at least until Luffy and company figures out how to defeat them.

Dorry and Brogy were implied to be world-tier level since their introduction, since the Giant Pirates were said to have "terrorized the world".

I don't know why their bounties is so small... perhaps at some point Brannew will say that adjusting inflation, they would be worth 3 billion each

So far, the RA have:

• Infiltrated Mariejois.
• Cut off their supply of food which will slowly cause them to start starving.
• Convinced 8 Nations to stop paying the Celestial Tributes.

All for what? To get the Celestial Dragons to such a point that they have to mobilise the God's Knights.

The Gorosei have been shown to be incompetent morons throughout the entire series. They can't catch/stop one guy. They can't even defend their own house and let Vivi and Warpool escape. They had no interest to go up against Roger either - we never saw any direct involvement/confrontation. Them being lackluster fighters just goes along with it.

No only that their background checking is the worst I've ever seen. "Hey you - do shit for us or else!" "ok... now Imma gonna backstab y'all". "Oh no!"

They're literally the 'big scary shadow' with just as much substance. Scary space laser? well why don't you use it with impunity?

Dorry and Brogy appeared decades ago in the manga. Oda needed some suspense for Little Garden, so he had them subdued. They were shown shortly after destroying the Island Eating Gold Fish with their same attack that obliterated Kidd's ship. It's the same situation with Ace against Smoker. In the time before Haki was really fleshed out it was chalked up to "We cancel each other out!" when in modern day OP from what we know of Ace he'd of had haki and simply wiped the floor with Smoker.

Welp, in fairness luffy had two shichibukai and a marine fortress to his name by the time he got to sambaody which incidentally is still more than most yonko executives have done in their lifetimes (how many ennies lobby are there otherwise?) but immediately upon stepping on sambaody he was framed as a god damn rookie. Oda's hyperbole is hard to make sense of, it took this past chapters for dorry's "world class strength" to be revealed to be REAL world class, not world class from chapter 110 or something.

Impel Down is far more impressive. Enies Lobby is only a big deal since its a government island, not due to the actual threat capacity in war waging that the SHs had. They defeated CP9 which at the time would have all gone down to any decent new world pirate crew. I think the Shichibukai going down are more impressive than Enies Lobby but similar to Impel Down the SHs never got the public credit. Crocodile going down was attributed to Smoker and Moriah going down was completely kept secret. Without people knowing this Luffy could be nothing else but a rookie. Besides rookie's can still be powerful as it is a label on experience more than anything e.g. in real life sports some rookies are the best players purely from a skill stand point but are still considered rookies.
