Narratively it makes more sense for Tokugawa to play S1. It's his last chance to play in the U-17. He only played for Japan. Just like Byoudin he is fighting in the most difficult Battle in Singles 1. Proving he can conquer the world without Byoudin's violent approach.

Ryoma has hardly been the main character of the sequel so it doesn't have as much weight for him to play S1 IMO

There is a very very slight chance Medanore are slightly stronger than Ryoga. If the order remains.

After all, Medanore is the only one immune to Consume so far. So, at least he has a chance.

Can you guys imagine the hate Japan will get if they lost to Spain. Lmao.

I think the reason is because Konomi wants to have a Ryoma VS Byodouin, and Ryoma VS Tokugawa After Tourney Match.

Because if Ryoma plays for S1, and won in Finals. Then, it will imply he is better. And no reason to fight against Byo and Toku.

But if Byo and Toku won the S1s in Semis and Finals. Ryoma will feel the need to challenge them.

I am not comfortable much in seeing Ryoma or Ryoga in sidelines after losing. Idk why.

What if it turns out Medanore is stronger than Ryoga? Or at least can counter him so he can beat him.

We are all wrong in switching Medanore and Ryoga thing.

Same with Toku being stronger than Ryoma in this match.

Yeah, it's likely Ochi/Mori will be playing doubles 1. We have not seen them go all out as partners, we may know why Ochi got demoted to no.9 from his former no.4 rank. I am smelling a losing match but we just have to wait and see. They're the Eiji/Oishi of the genius 10 so I'd like to see their full capabilities.

D1 strongest pair in the world hm, I hardly see how they’ll show to be stronger than Bertie/Dankmar..

Konomi says that Ryoma leaves and the serious match between the brothers is interrupted, so all of this is just last month’s recap and the start of D1.

Honestly I’m not too interested on this last doubles match, besides on how Julio/Silva will break Mach and Warp. We all know Julio/Silva will win so Toku and Ryoma win their matches.

Jump Sq releases on the 4th of the month unless the 4th lands on a weekend and they do the Friday before. Luckily that means this month the chapters are out on the 2nd so I'll have them tomorrow. (Aug 2nd in Japan)

Well yeah. We can guess the results. But We will still be interested on the abilities and mid match powerups these characters have to offer

We all knew Kintarou will lose. But we don't/didnt expect him to have a better performance than Atobe.

After Atobe's Infinite Evolution upset performance against Romeo. People are like Atobe is the strongest Japan Team Mser until Ryoma surpass him later on.

Turns out Kin performed better.

And I am one of those people too.

Obviously Ryoma will surpass Kintarou too.

Synchro vs Synchro is the name of the first chapter.

Second chapter’s title is the destiny of the big server.

Last chapter’s title is Moonlight Ochi vs Byodouin Houou, possibly they had a match in the past and that’s how he was formerly ranked No.4.

Seems like these chapters are mainly focused on Ochi, it’s nice we get to see some backstory of him, we only know so far that he was Hyotei’s former captain and that he was the old No.4.
