I don't expect this to ever happen
but given a future HxH anime return
how would you feel about instead
of weekly 30 minute episodes
they had 1 hour episodes fortnightly?

I would love for a more limited amount of episodes if they commit to do it correctly. In this case, not panel by panel but respecting Togashi effort for set up the mood.

And oh my god, the fight Hisoka and Chrollo! That should look so amazing and dynamic.

This could never happen. I am not talking about an eventual anime(maybe in 5 years), but 1 hour episodes like this.

I want panel by panel in the sense that if it
is in the manga I would like to see it in the
anime and it disappoints me when stuff gets cut out but I am mostly ok with changing the order of events so that it makes sense and
flows. Also I don't expect the anime to be as wordy. But really it just comes down to respect for the original material.

Fair enough though I disagree.
I feel like the Dark Continent Arc
has an even more mature feeling
where it's kinda less battle manga
and almost like a thriller/crime drama-ish
and I personally think the one hour
fortnightly format would fit it well.

Death Note had a lousy second half in the
anime and it wasn't because of Near/Mello.
It was because the anime rushed through
the second half and it annoys me because
I am one of the very few people who likes
the Near and Mello Arc MORE than the L Arc
in the manga.

I can't believe I'll be 25 years old with the 99 version.... I really like this animation and I wanted to see it being made the arc of chimeras. In fact, there are some very good fillers.
The openings and closing are another positive point in this version.

The initial delay was because of a holiday, but yeah, at this point it's some other reason that no one is leaking anything from 403. Even Kagurabachi has leaks.
