What's funny though is I'm watching ESPN here and listening to Peyton and Brady compliment each other, you'd think they were lovers or something. They really admire each other.

Makes it kinda hard for me to root against Brady, too... but I will this weekend, don't worry. :noworry

I tend to understand the Redskins though. Though the score wasn't 70-7 or anything, you had the feeling Belichick likes to do two "fuck you" touchdowns at the end of every game nowadays.

Patriots better watch out though. If they cause any more resentment like that - teams being purposely embarrassed in front of their home fans - they're asking for some serious injuries, fights, and disrespect from other teams.

Spygate - being accused of cheating earlier in the year (they lost a draft pick because of it) - then there's their gloating in front of defeated teams such as the Chargers last year - and Bill Belichick being the sorest loser in NFL history - all that were already bad enough. No one will call the Patriots a classy organization because of all that.

No offense. xD
ok, first, it was the dolphins that were whining, as far as i know the skins have been good about losing.
second, i dont see what is so wrong about them not letting up. i mean, if they did once they had a 20 point lead or something, they'd just be opening the door for a come from behind victory. didnt Miami score something like 21 points in the last quarter? if he had just gone easy on them, then they might of caught up and won. and wouldn't having another team take it easy on you, and still beat you be more insulting then just (for sake of avoiding an argument) one of the two best team going all out on you, like every other team, and beating you soundly?
third, they haven't been bragging that much this year, at least, not that I've noticed. they been pretty good sports about it all. and i think this is reflected by Brady complimenting Manning, and vice versa. Brady, from what i hear, is all but a second head coach for those guys.
forth, we play fair and square, and we've got the tapes to prove it :p only one pick is lost? so that means they gave up their first round draft pick? i know the choice they were given was that, or both their second and third round picks.
fifth, none taken XD

Uh, guys. I would like to remind you that MangaHelpers do have a special board engineered for sports fans. :D

My friend invited me to come to his office Halloween party next Friday. I have to decide whether I'm gonna go wearing my jounin flack jacket or my shinigami robe (with the third division insignia on it, of course)? :D
ichi, you do hang out with other guys every now and then, right? XD this is the hang out thread, and i dont know about where the rest of you are from, but when guys hang out in america, there are three subjects they tend to talk about: sports, sex, and the stupid stuff they did when they were drunk XD and besides, the sports forum is dead. most of the general entertainment area is. the ff and to a lesser extent the book and movie threads are the only real exceptions.

and please tell me you got a picture of the cross dressing ninja XD

@ snoogen, its ghost hunters, it isnt meant to be scary, it's the closest thing to ghost science as you're gunna get XD but right at the end the big wrestler guy, elijah... something... the black guy. something spoked him when they were all in a group and he screamed and ran down the hall XD the rest of them are just looking around like "wtf?" it was the funniest thing ever XD so why dont you just record the show?

its it magie's thread? x.x alright, ill go poke my head in there :darn. i try to avoid mod threads x.x i dont know most of them, and im sure most of the ones i do know dont like me, magier included x.x

Dolphins whined? Howso? I think the Redskins did complain... because they were talking about how disrespectful the Patriots were throughout the after-game conference... and Coach Gibbs didn't even give Coach Belichick a handshake (giving him a little bit of his own medicine.)

I think when we really get deep into sports talk we're supposed to be at the Sports board, 'cause it bores some people here who aren't all that into it. This probably doesn't qualify as "casual talk."

Though I agree the Sports board is dead. I guess people just forget to go there too often.

It's the weekend!!! Hooray~~!!!!!!!!!!!! :pmg

Anyone doing anything fun? :amuse Let me know so I can live vicariously through you, because I'll just be studying all weekend :crying

But still, I'm glad this week is over...what a nightmare it was....worst moment was when I realized I was supposed to have registered for my next semester classes almost three weeks ago...good thing there were still openings in the only class I have to take still to graduate. I really need to pay more attention to these kinds of things :XD

they pretty much were the same as the skins i guess. i dont watch post game conferences. im not that into ANY sport.but they were complaining about how disrespectful the pats were being. i had a link somewhere back there, but i aint swimming threw all those posts to find it.

hmm... maybe if you guys made sports area a subforum of general discussion instead of entertainment? or just got rid of it altogether, and move the discussion threads for the various sports here. then if they started picking up again, you could give them their own sub forum again, and encourage people to use them...

i've heard the word "midtest" before, but never as a noun :blink

if you consider going to a german pub with the rest of my frat for dinner tonight and going to my indian friends' dance show (diwali) tomorrow fun, then that is what i'll be doing.

i'm happy to hear that you got into the class(es) you wanted. nothing sucks more than staying an extra semester XP

yes it is,.. its just simple indonesian-english, because the test take time in the middle of semester/term so people sometimes call it midtest LOL...the subject is 'electronic circuit analysis' ... my major is industrial engineering and because of that we have to learn basics on all industrial things >,<..

I finally got Optimus! (See last post in my Ask Me thread for picture... link in my sig - the Tobi poll one ) :D

Man I am tired. I have been driving since noon until 9pm... I'm glad to be home. I may end up sleeping the entire weekend the away... at least until the big game.

hmm... maybe if you guys made sports area a subforum of general discussion instead of entertainment? or just got rid of it altogether, and move the discussion threads for the various sports here. then if they started picking up again, you could give them their own sub forum again, and encourage people to use them...
We may do that sometimes, yeah... It really hasn't gotten much activity. I guess sub-boards don't always work.

GK since when did you become bluey? i thought you were a black op....?
Became less busy, planning to help out more around here at least until January. After which I'll probably be Black Op again. :)

they are teh spies :p

being unemployed sucks x.x i was out job hunting again. the furthest east part of Syracuse's Little Italy isnt too far west of here (within a mile, actually) so i was putting in applications over there. there is like no job market in this city x.x i might end up working for a temp agency or something x.x but i can live off of my cheap ramen til them. i <3 my maru-chan nissan just isnt good... and i cant tell them im joining the navy, cus who would want to hire someone whom they knew was leaving in six months?

gk, movie optimus, or cartoon oprimus? *avoiding meet the mods area like the plague*

ok, i realize this is a little random, but why does it seem that people have no problem spelling things like chicken or cooking, or other similar words with ks to make them alliterative, despite the past history of "kkk" but they never spell kitchen with a c? i mean, with a name like *thinks up a random name* colonial chicken citchen? (yes, i realize how bad of a name that is) i mean, you would know that it was spelled wrong on purpose and what it is supposed to be, just like with kooking? [/end random rant]

thanks Lil ^^ :hug

Have fun with lacrosse! Don't worry about being good or bad right now, just have fun with it and try your best. And let me know how it goes, okay? :amuse

But 'citchen' wouldn't be pronounced the same as kitchen.. Generally, a C before I is always soft, pronounced like an S instead of a K :p

perhaps, but a... k... with an... lets say an o. yes. and o. well that makes a hard noise. the noise of someone hitting the mat. and some d00d running up and counting really loud... but i digress! i touched on that. people would, generally, hopefully, realize the play on letters, and substitute in the k. just like they would if there was a k instead of a c.

now, because yomiko questioned my questionably questionability, you will all suffer!

if i weren't so pro-ninja, i would love that flash file XD
