omg that's what i'm doing too! i <3 ghost hunters but i usually miss it due to work.
did you watch the whole thing? its 2 in the am right now, and im still watching it. wait, i thought you are at work tonight...? :blink but if you are usually at work at night... oh... :amuse baka desu. so what'd you think of the three noobs? i think the woman might be best.... but that one guy, the dj, needs to get another interview with someone a little less hostile. heather (that's her name, right?) was gunning for him! which i think is just her own insecurities manifesting. and dont get me started on her sticks. i tried watching it online today, but i had to crank the volume all the way up just to hear wisps of conversation x.x and i couldn't get into the chats or look at the pictures which sucked, and as far as i could tell, you couldn't control the camera you were looking at. so i gave up on that. but I'm pretty sure there is a way to watch the newest episode somewhere on sci-fi.com. you could try that next time you've wrestled control of the computer :amuse

so i got a grand total of 1 trick or treater. x.x

i so need a life T_T and now i sound like mugen :scry

oh, there was something else i was gunna say, but i forgot what x.x

So many pages since my last post here...!! Well, I guess that's what I get for going on a week-and-half leave of absence.

I'm so excited about the Patriots-Colts game this weekend. It's the first time in NFL history that two teams better than 7-0 have met in a game, it should be a spectacular event, no matter who wins.

What's funny though is I'm watching ESPN here and listening to Peyton and Brady compliment each other, you'd think they were lovers or something. They really admire each other.

Makes it kinda hard for me to root against Brady, too... but I will this weekend, don't worry. :noworry

Hmm, I read the thread, and saw some old posts...

american so-called football again? man.. ive tried watchin the superbowl, i fell asleep ffs..
Last year's Super Bowl WAS boring. It was sad. The AFC Championship was tons better.

Unfortunately most Super Bowls are boring. Although we did have a recent streak of Super Bowls that were exciting for a while. For example, Broncos-Packers in '98 was awesome. Titans-Rams in '00 was great.

In '02, the Patriots had a close game with the Rams in their first Super Bowl win. In both '04 and '05 the Patriots had close games again, with the Panthers and then the Eagles. Since then though Super Bowls have been kinda boring.

ACTUALLY. Indy is 6-0, Rabb. They haven't lost a game this season either; and they had last week off. Don't try and make the Colts look worse than the Pats. =(
Yep, Indianapolis is 7-0, and they haven't been slouches in the department - either offensively or defensively. In fact, Peyton's actually been winning games WITHOUT Marvin Harrison AND a proven slot receiver. That's incredible. Addai has really come on as a running back. So has Dallas Clark as a tight end. Reggie Wayne is bewildering opponents. If Marvelous Marvin comes back and their rookie, Anthony Gonzalez, catches on, their offense's even better.

And they have the best defense they've ever had, much better than last year, which pretty much nobody expected.

that's really weird, rabb...first of all, Miami did have a better second half, so it's not like they were completely steamrolled...and second of all, Belichick did start putting in some subs, including QB's...and third of all, wouldn't they be more pissed if we did decide to go with the mercy rule? That's more than embarrassing, imho :blink Anyway, those kind of comments don't impress me....it just makes them sound like they're looking for excuses. It sucks to have a record like they've got, for sure, but they're not going to solve it by whining about things :noworry well, I hope they have luck this week in London, I'll be rooting for them to get the win :amuse
I tend to understand the Redskins though. Though the score wasn't 70-7 or anything, you had the feeling Belichick likes to do two "fuck you" touchdowns at the end of every game nowadays.

Patriots better watch out though. If they cause any more resentment like that - teams being purposely embarrassed in front of their home fans - they're asking for some serious injuries, fights, and disrespect from other teams.

Spygate - being accused of cheating earlier in the year (they lost a draft pick because of it) - then there's their gloating in front of defeated teams such as the Chargers last year - and Bill Belichick being the sorest loser in NFL history - all that were already bad enough. No one will call the Patriots a classy organization because of all that.

No offense. xD

Yes Ive been down here my whole life so the dolphins are my team. Sadly they suck right now. I remember when 11-5 and 10-6 seasons were common. now we cant even win a game. Come back Ricky Williams!

well given that they broadcast em live here n that means that they're on at 4 or 5 in morning or sumthin its not much of a surprise if one falls asleep, but i didnt enjoy watching it for two more reasons, i know nuttin bout the rules (there goes the happiness of screaming at judges or whatever) i dont have a favourite team and if i did i wouldnt feel much loyalty for em since they're "over there", nah ill just keep to my hockey :nod

My sympathies... but at least the Dolphins should really get a nice chance to rebuild their team what with the top draft pick they'll have next year. Sure they passed up on Quinn last year, but they may get a better quarterback this year anyway.

ETA: i hear ya on the football thing...the falcons are doing poorly this year, although i'm glad that vick is gone.
Well, not surprising, considering the Falcons were going to base 90% of their offense around Vick, and then he went and got himself in serious trouble. We probably won't hear from him in the NFL again for three years at least.

Falcons are another team that could use a new quarterback.

Yes Ive been down here my whole life so the dolphins are my team. Sadly they suck right now. I remember when 11-5 and 10-6 seasons were common. now we cant even win a game. Come back Ricky Williams!
Actually Ricky Williams' "retirement" is sorta what started the Dolphins' downhill slide. And THEN he went and became a pothead again when he rejoined. I wouldn't trust Ricky to carry my team even if he played for free. He can keep playing in the CFL for all I care.

With Ricky Williams and Nick Saban's respective actions the Dolphins have just had a lot of bad luck lately, plain and simple... sucky for y'all though. I'm a fan of Zach Thomas, and I wish he had been able to be on a better team the last few years, it's painful to see him being so disappointed. And now he's probably going to retire pretty soon, oh well.

well, i hate the dolphins for not drafting quinn so i don't care about them. sorry
Like I said, I think the Dolphins might have done themselves a favor by waiting another year to get a quarterback. Although, yeah, Quinn might not be a bad QB, but I don't think he was going to be a franchise player.

Yeah, it helps to have a lot of experience with the sport to understand and appreciate it. Having lived around and played American football all my life I guess it's understandable I'd enjoy a boring Super Bowl more than you did... especially since it was during the day ;)

I like hockey too though.

they've kind of led hockey down the wrong path here though, they have waaaaaay to many small european hockey cups called the "Euro Hockey Tour", the swedish one bein called "Sweden Hockey Games", then Finland has their own, Czech Rep. has their and Russia has one so its to much now, its gettin boring :crying

Swedens team is ranked high as hell now, dunno if we're still #1, have to check up on that :sweat

Uh, guys. I would like to remind you that MangaHelpers do have a special board engineered for sports fans. :D

My friend invited me to come to his office Halloween party next Friday. I have to decide wheter i'm gonna go wearing my jounin flack jacket or my shinigami robe (with the third division insignia on it, of course)? :D

Shinigami robe! Thats my vote. Im not a big fan of the jounin jackets. they come in real small sizes and look very tight.
@Gk the only reason id want ricky back is because he is a lock for a 1000 yard season and we did give up draftpicks to get that good for nothing herblover.
Vick was my favorite football player for a while because he was fun to watch. In reality if you look at it if his brother was on point in colledge and played for about 3 years he would have been better than Mike. In his last year at VT he was running a 4.3 and he had better passing numbers than his brother. he just got high all the time. See weed f's you up.
