Not really? Robin's whole existence shows that it kinda sucks (and Law's for that matter). They simultaneously murder every baby they find that may have been Roger's, yet pass over the suspiciously pregnant woman whom they presumably also don't know was a D. Speaking of "D", it's not just bad intel, it's straight up ineptness. Luffy went around screaming his full name, his devil fruit power, and his goal arc after arc and was treated with kid gloves by the WG until the very last second before G5. Issho's backstory here sorta reinforces all of this.

In all likelihood, my best guess is that the people who were in charge of recruiting Issho knew about his past, but knew the Marines were desperate for manpower with the absence of two admiral positions.

Gonna play devil's advocate here...

Rogue extended her pregnancy for nearly a year. The marines were looking for a nearly 1 year old baby and at best ran past a still pregnant rogue. And the marines still managed to find out about this later.

Robin scaped the marines originally with kuzan's and saul's help. And she spent the rest of her life on the run...

The bit you mention about luffy is true though tbh I blame oda's writing more than the WG.

Interesting that nobody talking about kizaru feeding luffy. I believe this is something that should’ve been showcased in the manga because that’s a VERY important detail in multiple ways.

I’ve always stated kizaru is not as fast as people make him out to be. Prior to his fight at egghead, realistically Kuma had the fastest speed feets with propulsion.

It makes me wonder if he can truly move that fast and choose not to do so. Because if this dude moved so fast and got back in the same position then that’s wild af

I already predict vice admiral worth around 300-500 million, but to be honest almost 95% VA are not doing better than any pirate with 300 million worth,,
