Can current V in baam's body beat fresh full power traumerei?
Yes and Gustang as well. Only Urek will be a challenge for him.Can current V in baam's body beat fresh full power traumerei?
Recover leviathan? Man's too happy to take his master life inside Vaam. Traumerei is cooked now.I don't think it's genuinely possible to say anything noteworthy now.
First of all, we have yet to see what full-power Traumerei looks like. He needs to recover Leviathan for that, which I suspect will be a pretty big deal and a decent upgrade for him (if he does absorb it).
Vaam's feats so far include nullifying a 3D Disconnect Orb without much trouble and then doing considerable damage to Traumerei with a backshot sneak attack. So far it does look safe to assume he can be a threat even in the FH spectrum. There are still a lot of questions to ask though: Does Vaam have V's full power? Can he amp himself further with the Thorns, Thryssas, etc? How good are his stats (Baam's body has been emphasized to be fairly weak to physical attacks, with his Shinsu Reinforcement not being quite at the level of what he can output)? What exactly are the abilities of this V? Is there a match-up advantage/disadvantage we're not aware of?
We're still in the dark about a lot of crucial aspects, so it's impossible to reach a conclusion.
I still think he's going to get Leviathan back somehow.Recover leviathan? Man's too happy to take his master life inside Vaam. Traumerei is cooked now.
The last soul he'll hear will be of Amizu when Vaam takes Valhalla from him as well.
I look at it this way. No way is Vaam going straight for the smoke immediately after waking up if he ain't confident enough to face Traum and Gustang.
Urek is a different story.

Now the million-dollar question is what's Urek going to do about it? He doesn't want to see FHs die. There is still a very big twist coming. Urek has to leave this battlefield on his own or through some outside intervention.Thinking about it, with V possessing bam and apparently wielding his power to some extent or another and with all of traumerei's power being manifested through the single massive shineuh he has summoned which is apparently a fusion of of all of traumerei's creatures it does sort of look like things are pretty aligned for leviathan's plan to use traumerei's other sea dragons to kill him to actually work. Maybe the path to this would be for Bam/V to use a full leviathan mimesis (probably an external mimesis if we get nitpicky) and simply fuse with the massive summon. At which point traumerei would lose control.

Taumerei is beyond redemption for me. Leviathan his own creation getting the better of him at the end? I think it's very fitting.I still think he's going to get Leviathan back somehow.
From a narrative perspective, I think Traumerei is bound to recover his memories. Almost his whole being is stuck inside Levi in the form of emotions, memories and desires. To see how Traum would react, behave and act after that should, IMO, be one of the arc's highlights.
From a powerscaling perspective, Leviathan is Traumerei's power as well. I think we shouldn't be prived of seeing Traumerei in all his glory. That would be such a cockblock move from SIU. Baam already has plenty of beings inside anyway. He can do fine without such a creature.
TLDR: Traumerei getting Leviathan back is peak to me![]()
i think if rei gets his leviathan back he will be just below top FHs like Hon,eduan, yurin and blossom if not strong as them unless they managed to increase their power like Rei. At current i think V is rougly on the same tier as Rei and gustang, they both didnt react to his sneak attack while Urek did. Urek is clearly the strongest at the moment, and i dont think it would change even if V was at his prime(that might change if he was stronger than Z at his prime) now he is stuck with a weak body i doubt he will show us something above Rei and gustang unless he can use baam's other powers on top of his power.I still think he's going to get Leviathan back somehow.

he could only use a tiny part of leviathan's power, so thats not accurate. But he is likely to hold more power than valhallaIs Levi that much of a power boost for Traum? He gave his powers to Bam and that was not enough to beat Dumas. If he is on that level that basically means nothing to Traum. I think his importance lies not in the power but in the memories from Traum that he has.
Bam has not come close to pulling off a full leviathan mimesis. When bam just got it it's leaked power was enough for bam to hold his ground against pudily and the level of mimesis he achieved against dumas was enough to give him some trouble. And this considering dumas was able to pretty much ignore multiple powerful high rankers. While we don't know how powerful leviathan is it's pretty clear that a full mimeses would be incomparable stronger than dumas at least. Is Levi that much of a power boost for Traum? There's no indication Leviathan's seal has been lifted. What he lend Baam should have been only a small fraction theoretically. Is Levi that much of a power boost for Traum? Yeah, I feel like Leviathan Rei could be pretty nasty. I wouldn't say as strong as the big 3 or Blossom, but I could see him being on the next best spot after them. Depends a bit on match-up compatibility.i think if rei gets his leviathan back he will be just below top FHs like Hon,eduan, yurin and blossom if not strong as them unless they managed to increase their power like Rei. Also i think baam at this point has a pretty much strong body above most of the high rankers considering how his durability only weak againist physical monsters like kallavan and dumas. At base form his physical body is pretty strong for his level, its his external powers(because they make him go from BH level to Regent level) that make his physical strength look weak.
Yes, and people still call it a sneak attack. The man literally announced himself, "By Fisherman, do you mean me?"There's no indication Leviathan's seal has been lifted. What he lend Baam should have been only a small fraction theoretically.

Regarding Urek, it seemed like he only noticed V because he heard his voice beforehand (though that probably still puts him on a better spot than Gus or Rei I guess).
Eh, I disagree. Attacking someone from behind while they're focused on something else is the very definition of sneak-attack. Now:Yes, and people still call it a sneak attack. The man literally announced himself, "By Fisherman, do you mean me?"
It was a speed blitz. Nothing else. People need to drop their bias and call the action for what it is.

Context is important. It's not like he sneaked behind Yamcha like fodder. It's a FH we are talking about.Eh, I disagree. Attacking someone from behind while they're focused on something else is the very definition of sneak-attack. Now:
Is it impressive that V managed to get all the way there without being noticed, even if they weren't focused on him whatsoever? Yes, it deserves some credit.
Is it impressive that V dealt considerable damage to Traumerei with that attack? Yes, it deserves some credit too.
Is it still a sneak-attack? Yes it is. Announcing yourself one second before the sneak-attack comes doesn't change that IMO.
Urek didn't react to V though. Only after V said he was going to take advantage of the situation did urek register Vaam.i think if rei gets his leviathan back he will be just below top FHs like Hon,eduan, yurin and blossom if not strong as them unless they managed to increase their power like Rei. I mean V has been sleeping for centuries now and traum should have grown stronger by good margin than he was when V was around last time. This is one funny thread. V is obviously stronger.

Honestly, there is no reason V should be any weaker since Baam's body even changed when he awakened. The only thing that should be a "nerf" is that he doesn't have his equipment.
I honestly think he wouldn't get stronger. He was one of those FHs that did nothing whole time and being inactive. It took Bam years of training to get stronger fighting enemies that would push his limits - meaning to get stronger you still need to train and fight. But Traum doesn't have such enemies. Enemies that would challenge FHs are exterminated long ago or put in the red trash can. If you are inactive and nobody is strong enough to make you work for it, I do not think you get stronger. Dunno, maybe I'm wrong here, but that's how I see it.Urek didn't react to V though. Only after V said he was going to take advantage of the situation did urek register Vaam.

While they get stronger, I don't believe they got a whole lot stronger so there is no reason for me to believe that Traumerei can defeat him as he is now. Especially with Urek here.Urek didn't react to V though. Only after V said he was going to take advantage of the situation did urek register Vaam.

He experimented and found new ways to use Shinheuhs. What he did with Holan was something he couldn't do before. He explained how it was effective against Gustang's flames.I honestly think he wouldn't get stronger. He was one of those FHs that did nothing whole time and being inactive.
