Found this on Naver, backed up by multiple other comments regarding the announcement of hiatus:

Yes, I also think the late release of ss4 is because the author released a spin-off. But that means this spin-off is not short either.

It didn’t hurt the business since you gotta buy them to read it so he really release one for free and 4-5 with coins. And we know that SIU is the best at starting arcs
People will be buying like its crack in the 80s

Oh yeah, that manhwa. Super awesome as hell and shame it hasn't been updated in a while.


And by all accounts too the main character's design, Kang as they call him seems to be insanely inspired by Urek.


I mean the similarities are far too striking as hell.

I always find this funny when people thought ToG will be back in 3 months or so. The damage is already done beyond repair. Idk how much SIU cares about ratings, but it has dropped drastically in S3. Even webtoon has less likes(None cares about this. If he wants to make TOG good again, he has to reject the work done already and restart over again. I would estimate it would be between 8-10 months before it even returns. Tho I have high expectations from him. Even seasons are best in TOG.
