It was a character whose power is some nebulous control over fear. Imo the hint is most likely just referencing Loki being "generically anime intimidating", or at least trying to be considering I'm not buying his whole act

Regarding your first part:
I thought it might be explained due to his apparently high ammount of Ancient Giant blood, making him more resistant thant your average Giant / humanoid.

I wonder if that will be resolved quickly. Neptune and the others were taken as hostages at Fish-Man Island by Hody, with Hody even threatening to kill Netune, but it was resolved pretty quickly. Not sure if that would happen the same way here though.

Yeah gotta hand it to Oda, it‘s hard to predict right now which direction this is going to take. Could go downhill with the God‘s Knights succeeding and giving Luffy finally a solid reason to storm the Holy Land or the God‘s Knights might be stopped in their tracks by Luffy+ gang and Loki before they succeed.

Yeah gotta hand it to Oda, it‘s hard to predict right now which direction this is going to take. Could go downhill with the God‘s Knights succeeding and giving Luffy finally a solid reason to storm the Holy Land or the God‘s Knights might be stopped in their tracks by Luffy+ gang and Loki before they succeed.

It seems as if Oda wanted to make the start of the arc more low-key, at least, Luffy only really fought a big cat and nothing much of else.

It's refreshing, because previous arcs had Luffy explore a place for like 5, maybe 10, chapters before getting into what's basically a glorified gauntlet of a large series of fights, or at least sections building up directly to fights with no real exploration. Luffy has gotten to explore Elbaf quite a bit so far though.

Many are trying to draw parallels between Elbaf and prior arcs but Elbaf is just not your average One Piece arc, it‘s a perfect mix of adventure, lore drop and building up tension (setting ip fights), while it still feels to me that the arc just did start yesterday(meaning this in a good way), or to phrase it differently we’ve been a while on Elbaf already but it does not feel forcefully dragged to me.

Did not mean to say there are no parallels at all but rather, it‘s refreshingly adventurous, while not being overly predictable and yet the plot is progressing at a nice pace. Guess you are right about Skypia being the one arc that is coming closest and yet it does not feel repetetive but rather refreshing as there are many new elements introduced also the meeting up with old friends moments did not happen in Skypia.

For me its not just God knight will succes take a kid or not, i also add posibble they will take robin, at the moment in school only has robin, chopper n Bonney, franky nearby but still take time, the other far away, they maybe not even notice if school got attack,,

Nah, its will be weird if Saul to be death again?
I mean for plot he may try to protect robin again, but it weird if he die right.
But if Gaban can notice early haki come to castle, he maybe notice the 2nd summon n will be there to protect them.
