I was thinking here....

Yuri is just over 500 years old and it took her around 200 to 300 years to become a ranker and another 100 to be a high-ranker.

Assuming that she started climbing the tower at an extremely young age, then it has been at least 200 years that she has been a high-ranker. Again, going from the idea that she was already an HR when Phanta entered the palace and taking into account that Urek didn't enter immediately. This Princess Zahard makes no sense.

Assuming that it has been less than 200 years since Urek entered the tower, this girl is not a ranker, especially because Yuri's achievement of finishing in less than 300 years was enough for all the praise she received out there. In other words, this princess would still be a regular.

The problem is that Arie Rose and Gladmary are fighting, to the point that all the other known princesses are involved, that is, 3 possibilities:

1. This princess is already very close to being a ranker and does not want to get involved with the other two because she is probably preparing herself to be targeted by the ranker princesses.

2. She's Gladmerry.

3. It's simply dead.

Of course, even if Phanta's attack and consequently Urek's entry occurred while Yuri was an A ranker about to become a ranker or in the 100 year period that she went from ranker to HR, it would be almost as good a climb time as Yuri's and she should have already been mentioned.

Or the SIU simply shit on the entire blog post and everything we have about Phanta is filler.

So there was Darkness, then came Light, special beings born from that Light and Darkness reacted to them by creating Phantaminum.

We got a new Lo Po Bia. Some of these guys, assuming a few survive are likely members of Wolhaiksong in the present. Urek likes girls but he is not a simp. Seeing him reject the Zahard Princess like that surprised me.

I like this Lu guy and it looks like there is more to him, Evelyn is pretty cool too. Really good chapters so far. Hopefully S4 will be more like this instead of having countless annoying Ranker battles.

Is Yuri just over 500 years old? I think the only thing we know for sure is that she is 500+ she could be much older.

So now we know that SIU can actually write something resembling a decent main character. He just doesn't want to in the main series.

Hmmm, ok reading the first chapter. I can't really find a coherent connection between phataminum and the original lore. It may or not fit. Probably not as phanta is framed as a being created by the dark but since in the original material axis were omnipotent within their territory it could actually fit it SIU wants it not.

While only a short time it look like we get a small peek at the outside of the tower though it doesn't look like anything special. It is interesting that the weapons they appear to be using are similar to those inside the tower though. As in, SIU throwing a hint there.

Looks like Urek simply stumbled in the tower without realizing and the spot where he meets headon is some location at the first floor. It almost looks like phantaminum lured urek to the tower to strand him there.

Interesting headon immediately identifies urek as someone that shouldn't be there but still lets him pass. Is headon powerless to stop someone at his floor from climbing the tower?

The words... everything is on top of the tower... I got rick and morty vibes from it. As if, the universe is on top of the tower.

Lu and evenly have an interesting story here. Kinda curious where siu is going with this. Didn't expect evelyn to be a LPB. Weird flex at this point.

Can't quite figure out what the salt smell thing is. At first I thought urek was smelling the shinsoo but it seems he is picking up something else.

It’s been a while since I’ve been there and honestly I love these new chapters, never in my life I would’ve thought that Urek was THAT special and I’m for it (it would be cool if he fixes his current drip tho because he’s way cooler as a regular…) I much prefer this artstyle and the charadesigns (Phanta got peak charadesesign btw)

Idk about y’all but for me Tog has been absolute banger since the Traum vs Gus fight and rn with the spin off and maybe the start of s4 we might reach a new peak for Tog

Seeing this chapter I am kinda wondering if the family heads erased their memories of not only stuff inside the tower but also outside. I suppose they likely don't know of urek as a shining being or whatever but otherwise you'd think someone like that would be a big deal to them. If phanta is like that then they should also know who he is. Along with otherwise the sheer absurdity of pursuing him.

I read 4 chapters. Pretty good stuff. So the shining beings are still alive within Pentaminum... This opens up a lot of possibilities...

I'm going on a limb here and say we can't know how strong urek actually is. He entered the tower and thought a ranker was nothing to him. Which is he 100% right about. compared to the family heads who attained roughly ranker level at the hell train... Add to that, whatever power urek has probably has nothing to do with shinsoo anyways. So we have no real frame of reference of his capabilities.

With that said, I won't go as far as saying it is guaranteed urek can foderize all or even any family head or zahard. The family heads themselves entered the tower with some manner of power and apparently under the benediction of the workshop. They climbed the tower, the climb changed them. Zahard seems to be after some fate defying power which could play into some metaplot shenanigans. The chapter shows a couple images which seem suggestive of weapons on the outside of the tower. We also don't know if the powers urek had from outside have any synergy or compatibility with shinsoo. I suppose the reveal of urek's powers does perhaps hint at what about him just breaks spells in a nonsensical manner. That said, urek being able to kill zahard with a sneeze is entirely within the realm of possibilities (I just don't think that makes for a good story).


So we didn't get the reveal of the princess' name? Or did I miss that? It feels weird for siu to hold out on that. Using ice is weird though, I wonder if the translation is correct.

Random thought... Perhaps the great warriors entered the tower for reasons pertaining to phanta? As in, before urek was born or perhaps without a path forward to deal with phanta a bunch of exceptional kids were sent into the tower to find everything at the top and maybe a way to counter phanta. but instead they decided to stay and rule for as long as they could while zahard looked for a way to change fate.

Seeing the description of the origin of everything.. I can't help but feel the study of phanta is at the heart of the worshop's objectives.

Zahard entered because he loves adventures. I don't think he had goals like "I want to find a way to deal with Phanta". Plus they don't all come from the same place.

The Workshop created their weapons using the ones from the outside as basis.

He looks so much cooler without it as we can see in these chapters, now he just look like a 2010 cringe skater, he just needs a goofy boombox on his shoulder to complete his style (I love him tho I just dislike the cap and the shorts although he always had it) I like the tatoo tho

FoD Urek had a good fit so maybe it’s more about the shorts but my point still stands about the cap

The only difference between this Urek and current Urek is the cap and the tattoo.

At this pace, Urek will probably one shot all the rankers there. We can't measure his powers properly as he has some divine source of power form the outside. Everything Urek has used so far is not even his true power.
