Since I’m unable to read chapters 3-6 b/c of malware, I have to say this whole Phanta (6 jewels) lore sounds eerily similar to Bam/Enryu/Thorn lore!!! Phanta was basically a god of darkness outside, he/it could be the darkness inside Bam and isn’t the thorn currently split into 6 pieces?!?

I've always been curious as to how the Workshop invented shinwonryu or why they bother teaching it to Irregulars, but this new lore neatly explains it. They invented shinwonryu by analysing Phanta's jewels and teach it to Irregulars so they can evolve into shining ones.

When did the 6 chapters we get explain this? I did not see a panel explaining jewel's utility as shinwonryu generators after being analyzed or copied or such.

we'll probably see more of my GOAT Baek Ryun.

Something I've been wondering... If Urek is a shining one, could bam be a dark one? It wouldn't be too strange if Arlen made a deal with Phanta to bring back bam. Except he was this dark this that devours everything.

Looking at the first chapter it does seem a bit weird that urek is not more aggressive in reaching floor 135. There's no guarantee the exit is there of course but reaching the top of the tower should be most obvious way to get out. Of course, urek pursuing this means war with the empire. Wolfhaikson supposedly has the goal of finding a way out of the tower... I wonder what keeps distracting urek...

Urek probably knows there is another way out. He is the pacifist type. He avoids bloodshed if he can help it. Baam receiving power from Pentaminum migth actually be a thing.

The people in-universe didn't know that Phanta was an Axis and he is stated to be the strongest in the first chapter of this spin-off. He also refused to listen to The Darkness. People still ignore that Enryu, in the end is the servant of some deity's outside.

I don't think you can really say that the Shinies were simply cocky since they were stated to be the best among those born from The Light.

That’s not my point, I know Phanta is stated to be the strongest, but that’s because he was an Axis, if that concept is scrapped how do we know he is still the strongest? We just like a ranking bureau can only judge them by their achievements, we as readers can also take SIUs words from early ToG years into account and say “He just is because SIU said so”, but he also said he is an Axis and now it might not be the case. Again… I’m not saying he isn‘t strongest, I’m saying now there is a chance he isn’t.

Deity outside might just be the strongest of them all we don’t know that making it’s servant stronger than anybody else but him, no point in guessing here, we have 0 information on outside god, in the end Outside god might be Phantaminum himself and Enryu is his servant, first sending his servant there to put Zahard in his place and then once Zahard continued being a dickhead coming himself to “talk” with him…

I don’t think they were necessarily cocky, but it’s easy to say they were good guys since they were born from light while Phanta is bad guy since he was born from darkness, but it’s not all black and white here like darkness and light would suggest.

no 9 is arbitrary, I mean I have no idea where we got the information stated above about 'neatly explained' shinwonryu and jewel relation, and how BaekRyun became a goat. I believe spinoff will be much longer, considering we gotta see Urek's data floor, Thor's reaction, floor 77, floor 100 test, many other things and stuff etc.

By the way something is bugging me about all these. I know Urek is special, but we were being told about how hard shinsoo for irregulars and how they invent newer ways to deal them with it and then their creativity resulted in so new powers and uniqueness and whatnot.
But neither Urek not Baam had any hardship at all. Anything. Baam just passed the shinsoo resistance wall like thing in Le Roro s test, Urek does not even feel a thing.

It's because of his lore, the crazy guy without any irregular blood (as far as we know) stood above all the nepo babies of the 10 families.

Headon said that all the answers were at the top of the tower. Urek had only one job, he had to at least find a way to complete it instead of giving up.

Also, Headon didn't even know the way out of the tower, so even Urek couldn't know if it existed. And now he still stuck in there.

Sorry, I don't have the time right now to read all the comments, but although it's pretty obvious:

-The fisherman guy next to Urek is probably the guy we saw on the death floor.
-The cap guy will probably suffer a tragic end that will impact Urek's motivations. I'am also interested in his backstory.
-I tought the princess might be Enne (pink hairs, no name mentionned suggesting a suspens), but I am not sure. The trad said she used "ice".
-I am quite fond of the big examinator, I quite enjoy this kind of characters.
-I am also expecting a FUG character. Neo seems like a candidate.
-Seems that the rules were harsher then. I was suprised to see a test killing regulars for no reason.

I don't think SIU has dropped the concept of axis. He's probably just altered it over the years.

After all the names for axis we got

The King of Artificial Creation
The King Of National Salvation
Conquering King


So it's likely that he's just dropped the name Axis and went for King to probably connect it to Jahad and why Enryu considered him to be a 'false king'.
