Well, the avis are cute for one and the mechanic is all about buffing to gain special abilities while Mafia has free access to the fridge for one time usage abilities. Interesting.

Should we all agree on one person to buff today to avoid spreading our buffs? After all if buffs are low, like 2-3 buffs per person, then Mafia could very well try to get one of their own buffed keeping us out of a special ability from day 1. Which is what usually happens for votes but might be the same with buffs as well.

I don't either, but having one person put the spotlight on early means we see how they behave - do they tell us what power they got, how and when and who they used it, are they suddenly killed by Mafia or for some reason do not get killed night after night after night. Whereas with low votes people could argue it was "random" and that it doesn't mean anything because anyone, or like 2-3-4 people, could have gotten it besides the person who got it in the end.

Maybe? Everyone needs to post in the thread first. Am kind of worried people might want to buff their “friends” unless they have a really bad feeling on them so it becomes a popularity contest

This seems like a rather sound & astute take on the mechanics at play.

I'm feeling it's unlikely Mafia!Juviii would draw attention to the Fridge Mechanic this early into Day 1. So for me, I'm leaning Town!Juviii - seems to be the first player to really be trying to start & progress the game ball going!

Hola. Interestingly the mafia candies are public and has pretty much all important roles so this may be tilting towards a more vanilla setup. Not sure if town boosts will follow same? I'd assume it's more forgiving since only one gets a buff and it could be scum too. I'm fine with empowering D1 but an interesting approach is to have people lobby for it maybe. Though I'm wary of a Demon type kamehameha steal like the DBz game but this should be better than random votes

I missed Holt's post before, but I like there tone. I completely understand why Juviii & Holt have focused on the Mechanics at play, as there isn't much to go off in the first very few posts.

Leaning Town! on both slots!

We're missing quite a few of the usual players which is sad, but we also have new or returning players which is exciting!

We might even have more players coming to try out MG's here, provided they like what they see!

to explain the reason, we need to get the buff train going somewhere. And Hardy asked to be buffed. He is at least an engaging player who proactively tries things. A good buff candiate imo, for a blind buff.

Juviii because I think so far she's sounding the best tonally.

I agree as well. But is it day1 and not much activity has happened. I don't think we are going to have strong trust or distrust in anyone. I want an engaging player to get it. More then someone who would just leave things be and blend in.
