Brandish has already admitted that her magic isn't very effective against dragons. The other Spriggans are likely in the same situation as Bandish, with only raw power remaining as a means to defeat them. With the exception of Irene and August, none of them are likely to be able to defeat a significant dragon in a one-on-one fight.

Regarding the eclipse dragons, it's mentioned that they spent 400 years being energized by the continent's magical energy. I don't expect this group of dragons to be as powerful as the Dragon Gods, but they may have evolved to the level of the Dragon Kings.

That's enough to overcome any Spriggan.
Small correction, her words are “Seems my Command won’t work on such a powerful target.” She is able to shrink down the dragons in water dragon city as well. Yeah It seems that the dragons durability can’t stop straight up physical attacks like in Irene’s past and with Brandish punching dragonized individuals.

I would not go that far for the energized Eclipse Dragons as with Brandish’s enhanced power for Lucy that she can damage a DG level character. But maybe slightly above.

Yeah the sequel power scaling is messed up.

What caused damage in Mercphobia was its body colliding with the immense dragonized lacrima.

Brandish herself couldn't destroy the lacrima (although used Command T to amplify physical strength).

I doubt that as those with dragon slayer magic which those kind of dragons have are immune to damage from their own power. Well that was just one part of her arm, not really full effort.

I didn’t fully understand.

Under normal circumstances, Brandish and Lucy together would have been killed by Merc. Any damage they dealt would have been meaningless against his dragonized body. Fortunately, the lacrima contained an immense amount of dragon-slayer magic.

As for the lacrima itself, Brandish dismissed the idea of destroying it directly and instead chose to rely on Lucy, using Merc’s own body as the means to shatter the crystal.

For me it's obvious that Suzaku, Misaki and Kirin are at the same tier of Brandish, Dimaria and God Serena (mid Spriggans level). But if "some people" don't see like that...

Dragons are not immune to conventional damage which was established in that chapter. The context didn’t really give that they would be killed but rather even with that size for Lucy she is still not Merc’s level but still wouldn’t lose, so their levels are close. Again, since it is Merc’s own magic it can’t harm him, like Natsu’s own magic can’t harm him or Silver’s as they are slayer magics.

Although it could be because they’re are Lacrima that they are totally immune to anything other than dragons or DSM. Which would explain Carla, which likely got DSM from Wendy off screen.

How could she not lose? Giant Lucy would have lasted only a few minutes before being destroyed.

Lucy and Brandish succeeded only under very specific circumstances.

Brandish's magic merely empowered Gajeel enough to withstand Aldoron for a few minutes; the same would happen to Lucy.

Merphobia was at full power—he would have killed both girls under normal conditions, without circumstances extremely favorable to Lucy and Brandish.

And yes, dragons can still be injured by direct attacks. However, they generally surpass humans in both physical and magical capabilities, making it nearly impossible for mages to compete in a direct confrontation in most situations.

That is true, i say that as her determination to save Merc which is demonstrated by her overpowering him.

Yes, to not kill him but break the lacrima that would turn him back to normal.

Temporary, but they became physically strong enough to harm the DGs.

Nothing really suggests that he wasn’t holding back too as they are not mindless but reveling in the power they have, though Lucy would have died if not for Brandish’ aid.

Not all of them as there were dragons killed by regular weapons 400 years ago, if the humans were in groups or not is a different story. That leads back to information that those mages may not have utilized their physical skills back then mentioned in the Daybreak arc in favor of magic ones.

I believe it largely depends on the dragons' growth levels.

Larger dragons, like those in the Eclipse arc, certainly wouldn't die from ordinary magical weapons. Smaller ones were probably more likely to die.

It took Irene creating Dragon Slayer magic for humanity to have a chance against the dragon species.

Well considering the recent chapter, we learned those are no ordinary dragons but some big shots back then like Atlas and Zirconis.

Dragons were mostly taking the fights for themselves and leaving humanity out until DSM was created and then we see their regular soldiers contributing to the fight too.

Maybe, but I refuse to elaborate on God Serena because his power scaling is quite impaired, due to some quotes involving the Signario Sisters.
This statement was a hype statement imo. After the chapter where F&F fall, I don't believe that they are stronger than God Serena. He has better feats than them.

And the Signario Sisters that he knew used different kind of alchemia given by Viernes, and not fire alchemia.

I'll refrain from discussing this until Mashima defines the fights and the power levels of the dragons, Bloody Calamity.

If these dragons are at the level of Dragon Kings and Team A can achieve one-on-one fights, I think Fairy Tail's power level will be "consistent."

This will only demonstrate that Team A is far superior to Fire and Flame, and consequently, to God Serena.

As for the dragons i noticed that they have lower magical power than spriggans at GMG. Spriggans were hyped to have higher magical power than past villains, ignoring Acnologia. But ofcourse they seem to have better physical stats, and their scales durability are still a problem for most spriggans. So i would say that now they should be at least somewhat above regular spriggan level, but it would better to define their GMG power level. Motherglare and Atlas Flame were the strongest ones, are they able of beating regular spriggans despite having less magical power? Zirconis was the weakest one of the group, so deciding who he can beat may help to analyze the other Eclipse Dragons

Zirconis vs Dragonized Luso. Can he beat her?

The Eclipse Dragons spent 400 years receiving magical power from the continent. Dogramag was drawing power to enhance these dragons.

This chapter highlights that the Eclipse Dragons are much stronger than they were before passing through the Eclipse Portal.

They are stronger, but i wanna analyze how much strong they were before to make a margin of error of Hiro dropping the ball with them.

They're dragons, so I think only the BDSKs and Spriggans could defeat them.

Mavis pointed out that none of them were defeated in the Eclipse arc.

Motherglare also destroyed a mountain with a roar.

Except that Fairy Tail has wizards with "powerful damage magic" and "powerful effect mage" (hax), with the Signario Sisters really surpassing God Serena because of the effect of their alchemia (it's was easy for them transform a wizard into a pet who can't use magic). The Sisters are stronger than God Serena overall, but not necessarily they physical fighting status are better than his.
Enie (Viernes Power) is a complete fighter, and even her didn't prove to surpass God Serena in CQC; Luso (Viernes Power) can't fight in close quarters combat.

Ah, the question is simply whether Serena is stronger than them in a fight, whether he is more powerful. The specific abilities of these characters, or whether they are better in certain areas, are not the focus of the main question.

They aren't. Luso is inarguably a sub spriggan. More frightening ≠ stronger, just check a dictionary
