#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

I know this is a bait but I still going to respond to this take. It because Ruri have less color pages and volume cover, they only use those for the merchs. Nue have more merch than Ichi and Kagurabachi so does it mean they have to axe those two?

They should give it some color pages then. Why is that they give the series so little attention?

I mostly agree, but I also think pushing back is important, so lurkers don't think that these "opinions" are normal or acceptable here.

Well, if I’m going to say anything, I do think Jump needs to find those stable battle series that will hold the magazine up. And to be honest, they do. When we see Sakamoto Days and The Elusive Samurai get taken out, we have plenty and 2-3 of those battle series are now acting as stable pillars.

-Kagurabachi
-Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi
-Ichi the Witch
-Shinobi Undercover

So when you see that list, it is hard to argue against it. And I can say the same thing about the romance genre.

-Blue Box (if it ends this year or not)
-Hima-Ten!
-Someone Hertz

So I think there is something for everyone. But I will admit with what we are expecting soon, I think Jump should prioritize sports and comedy/gag series to have those proper staples. But I know that with the comedy department, we know Witch Watch will conclude. Me & Roboco is the main staple they are pushing. But I do see promise with Girl Hero and Demon Lord and think it would act as a good WW replacement. But if they want a third comedy, go for it.

But then there is the sports category, and that needs a lot of TLC right now since the Nakano era failed to treat that department. I mean Harukaze Mound is good, but the readers reception is baffling to me. That and Green Green Greens were very surprising cause the writing for both were top notch.

Can't believe this is happening all over again, so let me be very blunt as to what is going to happen if this keeps up, expect a ban from the thread or whatever by the admits. It has happened before and if they have nothing to show but troll and be a annoying pest for the sake of it without any contribution about the disccussion of the magazine(Its in the title) then this will happen.

Just having an account just to dunk on a series is wild to see in this thread and its highly silly to do that.

Take me for example, i dislike Me and Roboco but to i yearn for it to be axed and be an absolute jerk about it towards it and the author? HELL NO. its disrespectfull as all hell. It is a solid gag and the author clearly knows his audience and clearly does his best as a mainstay gag series for the magazine despite my dislike for it.

The reason i don't is mostly cause i do respect the author too much to really be mean about them, i will critized any work like i do with gonron egg(Which is deserved for its many flaws compared to the the two series in the new batch) but i will hope they learn from the experiecne and come back even stronger than ever to launch a hit. That's what it means to be.

You can voice your dislike for a series sure, but NEVER be a dick about both the author and their craft.

I mean, Nakano did try at least. Hinomaru Sumo was fantastic, but just never caught on despite being pushed so hard. Shuudan was also great, yet was a bomb... I wish Nak tried harder to push it though. Speaking of Shuudan though, we did have Straighten Up! from Yoko which could be considered a spokon of sorts, but also never was quite as popular as it should've been for how good it was. Mononofu was fantastic and nearly made it a year but also couldn't quite catch on, Robot x Lazerbeam made it a little over a year and was great, despite some people's issues with the timeskip. I personally really liked Ole Golazo but it also wasn't able to catch readers.

All-in-all Nak tried a little over 20 different spokon series (including semi-spokon), but the only ones that managed to stick around and sell well were Blue Box, and Akane Banashi which even then would only really be consdered semi-spokons.
I think Nak's biggest problem on that front was not giving enough of a chance to a few of these series that could've been a lot bigger like Shuudan.

I definitely agree though that Saito desperately needs to put more effort into finding a spokon that sticks.

I'm in the mindset of if a manga doesn't interest me, I just don't read it and go on with my life.

For the most part, I tend to prefer reading action/fantasy manga in Jump, with some exceptions like Akane-banashi & Spy x Family, over sports & straightforward rom-coms because I tend to prefer stories that you can't really see be told in reality, if that makes any sense.

When it gives us a pure match of performance, then yes I will consider it. It only in the cannon off the top of my head had about one, maybe 2 matches. And I believe one of them was a practice match.
