#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

So the Nue's Exorcist account is giving a 2026 calendar for fans, every month a new one, so i guess Nue is confirmed for the whole 2026? kkkk it would be awkward if the manga ended during the year with a incomplete calendar

Not much to say, other than looking forward to see what Hokazono's cooking with the flashback war arc. Kinato's Magic has been trucking along at a nice pace, on the other hand I'm steadily losing interest with its other two batchmates. Kinda sad that Hero Girl and Demon Lord ranks low on the ToC, its very cute... Oh well.

So Under Doctor speciality is old men characters I see

Issue 14:

1. Nue's Exorcist: There are a ton of things I like: raijin imagery, drums, bullet hell. All of this with Kawae's insanely strong art are making Soranaki an intimidating presence. But what I love the most is how his actions follow the logic of this ancient scientist from the excitement of having a new sensation to the contingency plans. Such a well characterized villain.

2. Modulo: If the idea was to show conflict de-escalating and dissipating into calmness, the chapter did a great job. With everything over, all these fights look rightfully silly in hindsight. It's an interesting view and way to conclude everything, solutions were always possible if talks were held in equal standings.

3. Ichi: Generally didn't enjoy this arc much, but it's somehow getting perfect closure. Both the last talk between lovers and Desscaras showing up out of nowhere are strong moments in such different ways.

4. Someone Hertz: Maybe framing is what Yamano is really good at. These scenes and situations aren't unique to Hertz, but he always seems to give his touch to them, it's both quirky and cute, just like the leads.

5. Himaten: More setup, but I'm all for it. I guess everyone will confess their feelings at the same time.

Weak chapters for all of the new batch sadly.

Well yeah, Saito might have forced it to the back so that Shinobigoto was technically outside the bottom 5 last issue but Nue did just get a colour page. They are clearly supporting it and while it's frequently in the bottom 5, it's always above the flops now at least and leaves the bottom 5 often enough to keep safe. And after it winning that "most wanted anime" contest, they basically can't cancel it no matter how much Saito'd probably love to.

Then storywise, we're only at Hyo #2 of 5, so it's a long way from being over naturally. It'll be another solid medium length series that ends somewhere in the 200s like every other battle series post-Black Clover.

Kinato's Magic: Really didn't expect to like Kinato nearly as much as i'm doing, each chapter has been better than the last one, is hitting all the right spots in a way i'm getting a bit scared, what the hell happened with Amemiya in less than 2 years since Shadow Eliminators which he improved this massively? I gotta say this feels to me like Tabata & Black Clover 2.0 where Tabata debuted with Hungry Joker, a super generic/bland battle shounen, flopped & got axed fast and returned with a way superior fantasy manga.

Btw, Amemiya baiting Yuri fans just to throw them away in 2 chapters! LOL I know that would happen eventually because Kaminagi was just a delulu person about Knights & Princess stories, she didn't like girls, but i didn't expected to be so fast and her to be pretty much already falling for Kinato And as expected there's already western Yuri fans complaining on Twitter, but not seeing anything from Japanese ones, they're pretty much praising the chapter.

Anyway, i commented in spoiler bout the new character having a "Bakugo-ish" design but seems like the personality is just a bit too kkkk

Alien Headbutt: Yeah, i'm not feeling it, who thought Kinato & Alien would literally swap placements like this, one started getting a lot of hate and pessimism when the cover leaked, other got pretty much everybody in their toes excited when the cover leaked, but now is almost everybody on Kinato's team and just a few on Alien. The manga feels too empty? Look at Kinato and Under Doctor, so many stuff already made while Alien feels like is just stuck in the same place and it doesn't have any other interesting character doing anything, 5 chapters and Kinato already introduced a bunch of interesting characters, meanwhile Alien just 2 and one of these is a little kid that can't do anything lol

Under Doctor: Fine chapter, definitely better than Alien Headbutt right now, for me is a solid manga but it is lacking like a big punch to make it more exciting like Kinato

Madan no Ichi had such a strong chapter. A very emotional moment from the couple and quite a funny name was given to the baby. Guess this arc was a Puella Magi prequel all along. And to finish it off, Desscaras gives us a hype jumpscare right at the end!

Kaigeki no Kinato couldn’t stop making me smile, giggle and laugh throughout the whole chapter. Kaminagi is a funny GOAT. Also two new characters appear and they have already made a memorable introduction. Haven’t truly liked a serialization as much since Ichi The Witch.

Alien Headbutt… well, dropped. This was it. While it had a good first chapter, it didn’t provide any sort of entertainment aside from a few punches after the first week. I really don’t feel anything for the main character and the storyline is still bare bones, which would be fine if it executed his characters as good as Kinato, but it doesn’t.

I’m gay myself and I didn’t find it offensive. The author only reversed the lesbian gag, that’s about it and it was hilarious.

Man, I forgot you and Sharkbait share similar thirst, but it's for entirely different things.

But I hope it's not going to be a harem thing going forward. I actually like it when it focuses more on character development and all that. I think this new batch of characters is going to bring twofold.

Also, a solid chapter for Under Doctor; however, I am going to be honest, I think Alien Headbutt is pretty dead compared to the other two. My reason is that it has no real sustenance in the form of storytelling; it's just fights, and while battle shonen have plenty of them, it always has characters and developments overall, which, sadly, Alien Headbutt just does not have.

I think this was a really solid issue overall.

Also, yeah, Mage Next Door is axed alongside Gonron Egg(Kinda miffed about that, but whatever) 100% just as Modulo ends.

Yeah, starting to think the whole three new series batch instead of the two I thought might just be real after all. If anyone wants to hear my personal bets on it, feel free to ask, cause i think we might be getting it this week if Hunter x Hunter truly does not show up on the next issue after this one.

The author didn't "cure" anyone since Kaminagi was never supposed to be lesbian lol, she's just delulu over Knights & Princess stories and molded her whole identity around being a knight, she's pretty much a otaku, her scene with Linae was pretty much a gag to display how far she's into that ilusion, Its literally there in the chapter:

She obviously saw girls as Princess to be protected or saved since she sees herself as the lonely Knight that saves people, her quick backstory about always being left behind by the people that started following her as adventurers adds to that and connect with the fact that Kinato despite being "weak" didn't leave her behind during any dangerous moment and displayed the typical honored attitude that the Knight adventurer from her favorite book series has so she starts to see someone as the Knight from the first time.

It can't get more obvious that she's pretty much a weird otaku by her whole rant about training Kinato as a Knight and wanting to get worshiped as a Princess

It's not misogynistic or homophobic or whatever, I just think taking the traits that made her unique and reducing them to MC's love interest is boring, if anything, it's funnier if she suddenly saw Kinato as a princess and started coddling him.

I will go against the grain and say I absolutely loved this chapter of Alien Headbutt. I don't really know what to say besides the fight was just really dynamic and fun.
