#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Had to hold myself when i saw Nue chapter on Friday, you can imagine my reaction when i saw it!

What a great chapter, Kawae has really gone hard with the art in these last 2 chapters, it looks so good and clean, Kawae has improved as a artist in every corner, everything looks so much more clean compared to how confusing his art could look in former big fights because of the use of black, but now you can pretty much get everything that is happening kkkk The new transformation looks sick as f@ck, the best form so far, if there's something Kawae never disappoints besides the romance is the transformation designs, seriously no one in this magazine right now can draw cool looking & badass transformation/evolution and suit/armor designs like Kawae

This would be like perfect if Kawae hasn't rushed to the battle and stayed with the resort shenanigans for longer, i'm not even talking about the mini boss fights but simply keeping with the romantic stuff because this fight looks pretty good so far but it should have happened after more build up, but great chapter

Btw, volume 14 will be packed with "bethind the scenes stories from the sport festival":

Before the obvious "Oh Kawae will show things that weren't in the manga because he had to rushed" that i also thought at first, is important to remember vol 14 will be from ch116 to ch124 which is the sport festival, not the resort stuff, so i don't believe it's about showing thing that got cut due to rushing but things that didn't make it because it would just drag the pace

[Discomusic]

1. Akane-banashi: The party has started and it is already memorable! They did Akane dirty but she is ready to bounce back. Great beginning and a lot of ties to the flashback arc, that may have a continuation during this cruise chapters.
2. Blue Box: A pure sports chapter, probably the beginning of a pure sports arc (so good stuff). Hurting the pride of Taiki like that is very mean; angry Chinatsu is adorable though, but her interlocutor has a point that he should turn into solid advice instead of petty remarks.
3. Kagurabachi: This flashback arc started nice. The characters in their youth have different personalities than those we are used to, and it is nice to hang with them for a while. Must be because they still didn't know of war back then.
4. Alien Headbutt: I must be one of the few that is enjoying this, but I like my Jump series to be no brains, all brawn. A problem that I addressed in the past (why aliens didn't kill the humans in the pods?) has been promoted to the status of mistery, and it is somehow intriguing to find out how the protagonist can defeat the aliens when is superpower is "pro wrestling moves" (and that parasyte regeneration thing, but mostly the pro wrestling moves).
5. Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi: Speaking of no brain series, here is the current poster story of the magazine. The underdog has a great idea against one that can copy all the opponent powers: just make him unable to use the powers at all. Simple, but it works.
6. Witch Watch: In the end someone broke the rules. It was the one that I expected the least, but he's right in saying that if you think about it, he was the best character for the role. Now we finally switch gears?
7. Ichi the Witch: I am not that impressed of what Desscaras did. I read plenty of stories where an hero is put in a similar situation and does what is right, so why her case is treated like the biggest thing ever? The second part of the chapter is very cool, but he was supposed to become a recurring villain in my mind.
8. One Piece: Another enemy goes down within the span of this chapter. That's two in two chapters, quite the speedrun. As all went in favour of the heroes since their counterattack started, it must mean that something bad is going to happen soon.
9. Someone Hertz: This was a cute chapter, about a group of teens enjoying their favourite hobby to the max. Midran is a very cute mascotte, will make a lot of merchandise money in the future.
10. Hero Girl and Demon Lord call it quits: It's time for the axed series to pull out their final punches. This is the one that comes out of top, getting rid of all the annoying antics for a flashback that uses an interesting narration trick, and presents a Demon Lord with a past and an appearance that make me want to know more. Well done!
11. Under Doctor: A whole chapter spent on him wanting to become the apprentice of the protagonist. Both sides had good points and the conclusion was well thought, but this series needs more action. It will never be a medical drama, so at least let it draw from its other possible strength.
12. RuriDragon: After more than a month of absence, the series delivers a nice chapter of mother and daughter bonding...but it doesn't get to the point yet. Will we finally see a dragon at some point or will we be teased forever?
13. Me and Roboco: When an important series ends, Roboco is always there to deliver. The abomination that she became at the end is unholy to say the least, and Gorilla is always ready to take some punches. I need a wheel like that to adapt at the various situations of my life.
14. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo: And so it ended, with a final chapter that doesn't say much to me. For the epilogue, the focus should have been more on the new characters and less on the originals, but it is what it is. The series overall had great highs, so it was fun while it lasted.
15. Hima-Ten!: These chapters make me delude that in the end Kanai is the designated girl after all. Now Iemori only sees Himari as a client again, and in all of this we lost track of Kanna, as if she exited the scene after her loss. Here's Hono-hoping!
16. Nue's Exorcist: Another arc, another power-up for Gakuro obtained because he is the chosen one. If the Mangaplus comments didn't tell me I wouldn't even have noticed, awed by all the coolness. It's become so common that you just expect it as a narrative trademark of the series, somehow a positive point.
17. Sakamoto Days: This is the first time that Osaragi is in real trouble. It is also probably the first time that a bystander normie is being killed instead of just being there. That's a low that they shouldn't have reached.
18. Kinato's Magic: The first proper adventure is...pretty average actually. The quest for the wacky, good-natured inventor is something that also Ginka and Gluna or Icehead Gill could invent, but every adventure series has to start with something. Heck, the first adventure arc of Naruto had maybe the most original start? It still became one of the most memorable early arcs in Jump history.
19. The Mage Next Door: For another series that is shuffling their cards because of the axe, this one also gets rid of some of its premises but decides to get rid of the wrong ones. He was the mage with the useless magic that become dangerous in his hands, why throwing them all away just to obtain generic "battle magic"? I hope for a finale Fat Sakamoto style, where he realizes that he can win only by accepting his usual self.
20. Shinobi Undercover: I don't know, I am starting to get bored by this arc. The new character had a good introduction, but now is just there to get shocked by the betrayal of his family when he finds out and to switch side after he overcomes the trauma. All very predictable...
21. Gonron Egg: Third series that is close to the axe and...nah, nothing to say here, this is just bad.

Another arc, another power-up for Gakuro obtained because he is the chosen one. If the Mangaplus comments didn't tell me I wouldn't even have noticed, awed by all the coolness. It's become so common that you just expect it as a narrative trademark of the series, somehow a positive point.

Well, Nue did choose him. Joke aside, the power up in Nue technically make sense. Starslave is temporary powerup which Gakuro make Yozora eat Nue's 2nd Hollow Weapon. Moonlit also a temporary powerup which Gakuro took from his predecessor, Gekka so he can channel Nue's power at its full potential and also Natsuki's.

Ah good point, yeah it does seem that we're having 4 series ending in this batch, which is kind of wild. We're going to have 7 new series before may, when usually jump only has like 11-13. Hopefully they don't rip up some of their established series in the later months tho, or else jump is going to be like 50% series that have run for less than a year lol.

The thing is when the serialization round will start:

Hm, it is going to be quite weird and hard to predict what happens after this issue, but we are most definitely getting a Blue Box lead issue before the 22-23 issue of the magazine at the very least. When is the question?

I'm honestly all for Jump publishing more series. If there were more established series I would be chill with a normal year of like 11-13 but right now out of 20 slots:

*6 are made of currently non-established
1) Gonron Egg
2) The Mage Next Door
3) The Hero Girl...
4) Under Doctor
5) Kinato's Magic
6) Alien Headbutt

*5 are made of series that are ending/probably ending/ended
1) *JJK Modulo Spot*
2) Witch Watch
3) Blue Box
4) Sakamoto Days
5) Me & Roboco

That means like half the magazine is in a state of fluctuation. Jump being aggressive for new hits/giving more authors more chances is fine with me. I don't need "Hero Girl" going 5 volumes like Doron when it's pretty obvious it's not living at this point

Nah, it’ll be Shinobi getting the cover and lead CP the same issue Nue gets a center color for its anniversary.

Alien Headbutt 2 biggest flaws in my opinion are ironcially Kinato's biggest merits so far, which is moving the story in a great pace and adding good secondary characters, in 6 chapters Kinato has been deliverying these 2 in spades while Alien feels like it's stuck in the same place and repeating the same developments, and the biggest sin, no interesting secondary main characters, not even a female character (not counting his sister), and with that i don't even mean it's a bad manga, but that for a magazine like Jump this is definitely a big problem.

I'd agree on the secondary characters aspect (tho I hope this upcoming arc is where the existing ones start shining), but I have to disagree with the pacing aspect. The previous fight was just really good, and its building a good sense of mystery. Perhaps it should be going faster, but it really just promised the alien wrestling aspect before any like "plot" aspects, and I feel like its been delivering good fights in spades.

I'm expecting a color page closer to chapters 9-10. I think the first chapter seemed to be liked as much as Under Doctor's, and if that didn't get an immediate color page, then I'd imagine jump decided to wait a chapter or two for each of these upcoming series to gauge if they were worth it or not.
