GoG in ch 631 said GWs were bound to fail. And we later find out it's proven they indeed failed to become a pillar.

With the spin off, we know tower is created to produce a pillar. There are currently 2 of them. Both are seem to like physical manifestation of light and darkness. They are made up of pure light and darkness which is eternal.

So it's very likely to be the new pillar, they must be born with shinsu but that's impossible since that goes against the law of the tower. That's why OG chose a towerborn body, the child of V and Arlene.

Maybe the reason why V discarded his original body to bypass this rule and ascend to be a pillar. With the twist and turn of fate, the day the child was killed by Jahad the fate of pillar was born.

That's why no matter what GWs did they were never meant to be the chosen one since they aren't born from shinsu.

What do u guys think?

Disagree.

There really isn’t anything separating Urek from his fellow shinies other than him having endless light. So no, there are 8 Axis in the tower.

And second, that’s me low balling. With the whole blog posts put to sleep, we have no Idea if there are other Axis-like beings in the tower, or who is an Axis of the ones we know of. Zahard for example, with the whole messing with fate and shit.

Is a blind reading at this point with no outlines as to where it’s going.

I don't think being born of shinsoo is of any consequence. The tower primarily tested irregulars before the climb system was implemented and those by definition come from the outside.

There are only 2 canon axis in the story line. Both Darkness and Light created their Axis respectively. It's not far fetched to say that they are being completely made up of pure darkness and light respectively and carry their power.

I have always had doubts like why OG cared about the child? V had unlimited potential if u think about it. Logically he should be interested in V rather than the dead towerborn.

For a axis to be born, their body needs to be born by pure respective energy. That's why so far none has been able to awaken as axis.

Bound to fail? Why? They have the best team ever seen in the Tower and they stopped climbing. There is no reason to believe that they don't have the capabilities.

:lmao What are you on? Urek's strength is annoying so much that you are calling every Shiny an Axis now? Aubryon was including himself and the others when he said "Beings like you and Phantaminum"?

We don't know why they stopped climbing. Regardless we do know that they failed. They all will die in the main story. GoG was the one who said bound to fail in 631

It's not far fetched, it's straight up headcanon. We don't know where phanta came from beyond some vague statement about the darkness having him go after the shining ones for their arrogance and as far as we know urek was simply born a human. We also just don't know what the pecking order is between darkness, light and those who wield their power.

I don't see why it'd be obvious that V would have unlimited potential or even more than his team mates. As far as the story has told us what made him stand out from his peers was that he kept caring for towerborn folk as the climb continued while his teammates cared less. The reasoning given to us by Eduan that V should have been king of the tower wasn't that V was the strongest or most skilled but rather that he cared. But zahard the leader of the group regardless. As far as I can tell the plot with Bam isn't some divinely ordained retribution against zahard. Rather it's the work of mere men dealing with beings higher up the pecking order to give the finger to zahard.

Urek was born a mere baby. We don't know that he just randomly came into being from a flash of light by the will of the light. In the old lore axis were just human beings who through some process could awaken. The strongest ones became authors of stories over which they ruled.

Ch 1 literally states darkness created Phanta. He wields darkness power.

I am comparing V and his dead child. We have always known irregulars have unlimited potential than towerborns. It's odd that OG chose the towerborn body rather than V. V also chose to relinquish his body and chose towerborn body. He might know about it.

Creating an axis is against the law of the world. Having some impossible conditions like only beings born out of the source can become axis which in hindsight is almost impossible.

I take that "created" in the very loosest sense of the word. Other translations use different wording and there's no implied mechanic as far as I can tell. Anything between the darkness creating a being out of nothing and just imbuing some dude with unlimited power is possible at this point in the story. Overall we don't know what the actual capabilities of light or darkness are nor even that of those who wield them.

Well, bam's wierd. How exactly is unknown. And as far as we know bam is not counted among the towerborn. His body was born in the tower, died, was taken out and came back with a soul which may or not be the same one he had before. Bam by all appearance has comparable perks to other irregulars when it comes to the climb. Talent wise he seems to be in the ballpark or higher as well. At this point this gets highly speculative but we have seen that V wants revenge on gustang and the moment gustang spotted V his reaction was basically to add V to his shitlist. Gustang barely even spared a moment to be confused by V being there, he simply told V he was going to kill him. Overall the sense I get from this is that bam's fate with V and Zahard is just plain and simple bullshit and that V not only isn't the good guy but he is as much a problem as zahard as far as the tower is concerned. So the tower or whoever choosing V as a savior of sorts wouldn't be in the best interest of whichever god has a hand here, the tower or bam.

if towerborns body can be modified to become an axis then surely anyone who is non-axis inside of this tower can achieve axishood by following rules ...

they are so greedy this so called fhs that they'd do for power anything so i am sure that they have closed the tower not because they dont or couldn't climb it was just they realized this power isn't really good ... if you go outside with this power they will clap you so they have closed tower and done deal ... because inside of this tower you will be always immortal until admins do exist and until tower exists so they have chosen power still becuase if any of them will become an axiser rest will loose so still they have decided to stop climbing becuase they just realized that no matter who will become an axis or whatever rest will loose so they did a great job if you ask me becuase one will achieve whole thing rest will just loose .

As for V that guy is a shit so is arlene because they wanted power and towerborns were fooled by arlene and V LOL zahard and fhs are far better than V and arlene in this case LOL

and it has nothing to do outside god , outside god is just some axiser like axiser that gave baek to his power like penta is and like any other axiser

outside god is just some ant if that guy was strong there is no need to let penta enter inside of the tower that could shit on baam or whosoever is that new axiser supposedly to be LOL but gladly urek is there otherwise so called outside gods plan would be ruined LOL

Yes night is weird. It's because he is the only irregular to have a towerborn body.

Assuming that GWs and UM world is same and GWs body is made up of light, do u think he could have become axis of darkness or even shinies could they become axis of darkness?

Thinking about it why would shinsu love foreign beings like GWs. GoG words make it sound like tower is using GWs are guinea pigs.

Um, I don't have a clue. I don't think their bodies are made of light-darkness (I've written many times that phantaminum is probably just a dude with a fish hoody) and if they were I don't see why this would be of particular significance. I've also said that to me it's not obvious that their darkness-light affinities have anything to do with them being axis.

Ch 1 confirms this. It states those beings were born of light and 6 were shining ones lole

What? Light created species and life ot doesn't mean that their bodies are made of light. Even Urek's body isn't made of light.

What the chapter says is that light pierced through the darkness and the universe, time, live and everything started. We do not have any actual specifics regarding how this worked. We are told that the shining ones were the strongest that arose from the life in question. It's never said that live is actually made out of live. Going by old blog posts physics inside and outside the tower are different.

I mean, it’s likely that they didn’t fail. Seems like Zahard might have succeeded in Axis hood.

Hmm, I doubt zahard has succeeded yet. I don't think we can know if zahard even knows what an axis is. If he did become an axis, why stay in the tower? The tower and it's politics are low stake stuff for an axis. Zahard engaging in it probably evidences that he is still trying to crack how to move forward.
