#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Do you guys think based on the twitter account and the JapanCD soldout that Under Doctor might have the biggest volume 1 sale release of the decade or so?

Hard to say until we get numbers in either oricon or shoseki.So until then is wait and see the results.

It's not the only volume 1 of the decade that was sold out iirc and probably has lesser first print number than most successful debuts.

Modulo sold 190k week 1. Burn the Witch did 86k week 1. Ruri Dragon did 74k week one.

Kagurabachi was legitimately sold out everywhere, and it "only" did 12k week 1 on Oricon.

So if anything, if Under Doctor actually sold out in certain places, it would just prevent it from being the biggest debut of the decade because they didn't print anywhere near enough to let it be the biggest debut of the decade. It'd still be good if it sold out obviously, but can we temper expectations for what volume 1 could realistically sell please.

Sold out just means it sold better than Jump expected it to. If they printed just 10k volumes for a series expecting low sales and it sells 9k it is still "sold out" and can't be found almost anywhere

You're just showing me you kinda don't read the manga lol

All the main girls relationship and connections with Gakuro are well developed and estabilished, they don't fall for Gakuro because "yes", now if you're talking about the very minor characters in some arcs that were never going to have any importance in the story, that's just typical harem shenanigans that i particularly don't care neither have any impact in the story.

Suou already insert herself in the bowl even before her story arc even began.

Ishu literally liked him just because (because they needed a childhood friend trope filling up a slot, that's why)

Natsuki liked him because he conveniently resemble the shitty beta protagonist in the book she read.

Meanwhile, every other girl has a variation of "omg he saved me, that pathetic boy is actually PrEtTy NiCe." Some are not even at a scale near heroic to even worth mentioning.

Damn, if that's the case, everyone should be sucking Zenno's dick back in chapter 1.

Meanwhile, every other girl has a variation of "omg he saved me, that pathetic boy is actually PrEtTy NiCe." Some are not even at a scale worth mentioning. Damn, if that's the case, everyone should be sucking Zenno's dick back in chapter 1.

You're pretty much just reducing or oversimplifying the characters, their development & interactions through the arcs to make it sounds ridiculous like the main girls just saw Gakuro and jumped on him, which is really not the case, Suo alone had many developments through more than one arc until she reached the current point where she is now when it comes to her feelings towards Gakuro, Natsuki is the classic case of a princess that had never any interaction with a boy in her life and only has books to base things and Gakuro had already gone through a lot of development at that point, the Gakuro of the first chapters wouldn't cause anything on Natsuki, you also talk as if isn't the most normal thing in real life for people to just feel instantly attracted to other people they just met or to develop feelings for the smallest reasons.

Anyway, it's totally fine if you don't like it and etc, but don't come at people talking about high standards or whatever, it's just shounen manga for teenagers lol that would be like me saying you should have higher standards and enjoy "real sport" series instead of stuff like Ping Pong Peril.

It's literally just the main girls and a few smaller characters, most of them from Suzaku family that showed "interest" in Gakuro, all the other female characters has nothing with him, i think the fact that these chapters of the Suzaku family happened all together with the women showing interest on him created this illusion that every girl loves Gakuro or something when isn't the case

I hope Kinato gets a cp next week, feels like a waste saving the manga, getting a recommendation from Suzuki and not even try to promote with a cp, i already said once and connected to what @Aqyurs said about WSM color pages, i feel like giving a cp for the first volume release should be the bare minimum of advertisement for a magazine like Jump.
