WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP THREAD RULES​

#5. Don't post news about series from other magazine or publishers in the WSJ thread, post in the series own thread, but it's fine if you're mentioning other series or magazine to express a opinion or reflection about Shonen Jump.
#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

He's jumping that gun on Sakamoto Days ending. Even with it being on its "final fight", we all know how long those end up taking. In the last 2 chapters we've had characters get back up/reappear after volumes of no appearances. Are we really suggesting that in under a volume, all of that stuff will be wrapped up? It has 2 volumes left at least lol

I think we have a volume left. Suzuki does not spend a lot of time on fights even boss ones. We just finished a SD volume so we’re about to start the next (and likely last one). After this current chapter tomorrow, I think 4-6 more makes sense for the final fight with one epilogue chapter (Suzuki doesn’t do a lot of plot work so he’d likely do what Naruto did with a one chapter epilogue) and maybe they fill the volume out with one of Suzuki’s one shots (probably the Takamura one).

Hunter x Hunter returning next week. Hima-Ten ending with my preferred pairing. Cannon Master early colour pages giving me hope for a newbie I've been quietly championing for a while. Terasaka is back in the magazine. Bleach movie is coming out in the UK and I'll actually get to see it next week. And Bleach hell arc actually returning?

I won't totally believe with Bleach until I see an announcement on the pages of Jump being leaked but I'm as hopeful as I've ever been, especially if this times with five years since the Hell one-shot and the series' anniversary.

I can really foresee the magazine living of these past series continuations and stuff like Modulo. It is gonna be a hard time being a reader of WSJ, especially if you think WSJ really were the home of new authors and new series.

I'm inclined to agree with Baes here. I think they timed KGB's break to coincide with HxH returning. It's already been said that KGB will return in August but they never specified when in August. HxH's 10th chapter from tomorrow would be released on the 23rd of August (unless there's mag breaks before then?). So KGB maybe returns then or on the 30th of August in the following week's issue. And then another batch of 10 HxH chapters will come out whenever, since we know Togashi has done more than 10.

There is a magazine break in August and even then I am feeling 20 chapters is possible this tine especially since there are 20 issues left in the year.

September 6th would be the last issue hxh appears in, if its a 10 batch. For KGB returning, I feel like it'll get the LCP for the obon issue? In honor of its return.
I feel like Blue Box and Himaten will be over by the time it returns, but also, I don't know why people think Bleach would return while the anime is still airing? If anything, I'd predict it returns a bit after the final episode airs, so the anime fanbase can jump into the manga returning. I guess it might be something where they time the first volume release alongside the anime ending? But that feels like it would be a mistake, as the manga and anime would be releasing simultaneously.

Don't care for Bleach. Just like Naruto, this did not need a sequel manga. Even JJK too. Should have been serialised in jump plus instead of wasting a slot in the main magazine.

I pray Gotouge and Horikoshi aren't so creatively bankrupt to be making KNY2 and MHA2.
