Chapter Tower of God Spin-Off: Urek Mazino Chapter 70 Spoilers & Discussion

Just a random observation, on naver kr at least, i see both Urek Mazino and ToG being rated for age 12+ while most of the comics higher up in popularity seem to be rated 15+ or even 18+, strange since i always regarded ToG (especially early seasons) as fairly dark compared to the stereotypical shonen. I don't read other webtoons so i can't know if the difference in age rating is actually noticeable when compared to other comics rated 15+ for example, does anyone know the differences that warrant the 12+ vs 15/18+ ratings there ?

Yeah, I highly doubt that. All he needed was 30% Shinshu reinforcement to destroy that trap spell. I don't see him using more than 60-70% to destroy that rupture. Again, my opinion and speculation. Who really knows unless SIU gives us numbers?

True, it's one little complaint I have that if SIU is gonna do the gimmick he's gotta do it properly at least.


But then again calling out percentages when against a Family head is just gonna kill them even more in terms of portrayal so I understand why he held back and didn't have Urek call out a percentage everytime.


But what I'm certain of is the fact he's not been pushed to a 100% basic Shinsoo reinforcement which is just code for natural base at this point.

Gotta say, I figured the dolphin queen was powerful but I didn't quite expect it to be powerful enough to stall a high ranker for any amount of time. I am very much looking forward to seeing high ranker evelyn do stuff with the dolphin queen.

There are some dark themes but I don't think it's that dark. Series rated higher probably have more nudity and violence?

Axis vs Guardian is still inconclusive from this spinoff. Urek still hasn’t fought one even in the main series. It’s left ambiguous on purpose by SIU.

They do control shinsoo to the upmost control. Shinsoo is an Axis power. Makes sense why an Axis would still struggle against an Admin.

I don’t believe it’s left ambiguous at this point. It’s pretty much a thing that Shinsoo is an Axis equalizer.

Everyone vs Zahard is not something I expected from the Spin off. Shinies ended up being an enemy faction of Zahard instead of Urek lol.

I think it's possible she got a boost of something from the emotions.

She was peak Advanced Ranker level last time she fought.

I’m going on a limb to say Zahard is pretty much an Axis at this point.

and I’m also going to bet my left nut that Axis aren’t even unique, and that there are other types of being with comparable power.

yep, I’m going there. THE ANGELS. WHICH ENRYU IS PART OF. Axis, Angels, Primordials, Gods, Guardians. All these beings with comparable power. Why keep it at only Axis. This is SIUs chance to expand the lore beyond his drafts. LETS GO CRAZY.

So how do you feel about Eduan actually being in good terms with him in current day.

seems like Eduan is completely chill with Urek and it ended as nicely as possible when talking about what are essentially pieces of shit god-like beings (the FHs).

TBH I don't expect urek to get along with eduan in the modern setting. Even if urek summoned eduan to help out with stuff odds are that over time eduan's attitude towards towerborns is going to be an issue. Urek might regard humans as dust but he treats the dust as his peers. Eduan just doesn't do that.
