It is garbage. Go cry! I have seen the highs of S01 and S02; S03 just doesn't compare. Oda's story has been going since 1997; he's allowed some mid-arcs, of which there are not too many. SIU started in 2010 with fewer chapters, and he's already on his knees, story-telling wise. Don't gaslight me. I have been reading TOG since the early days; this spinoff was an insult to his long-term readers. A huge pivot. How can you actively retcon blog posts when the lore of blog posts is what carried the series and the lore of blog posts is a much better story than whatever this shiny-one shit he came up with? This is not personal bias; this is realism. So spare me your absurd or biased talk.

Tbf thier anger mostly come from BP(blogposts) being retconned and urek being much stronger then FH (Then we originally expected him to be) which isn't right.

BP were never cannon and subjected to change(stated by siu himself) , A good portion of Tog readers probably have never even read them. SIU even deleted them years ago so there's that

And we only ever had a small portion of lore available via them, saying the current canon is inferior to it..... well it's too soon to say that.

There's definitely a reason siu changed what he originally planned in BP and saying what we have now (we haven't even explored the lore siu introduced ) is worse then BP lore is just wrong

Look, you can call it headcanon or whatever you want, but how can you sit here and confidently say that the story that this spinoff attempted to tell will be better than what SIU originally planned in the BP lore? The BP lore is a better story than whatever shit SIU is currently trying to establish. I am not that confident in him that he will be able to land with this whole TOG story. The downfall is pretty evident. I don't have to speak for myself. The fan base does the rest. There has been a significant drop in views and engagements, not just on the MangaHelpers site, but across TOG social media. Fact. Another fact: As a result, SIU abruptly ended this spin-off. I'll follow TOG's story. Of course I would; I have dedicated a significant portion of my life's time to this story, but in retrospect, I can say that it will not improve. You guys can be very sure of that.

However, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I am very firm in my opinions about this series in general.

I believe the pivot is primarily because of his health. He wants to finish the story as soon as possible and rest in the sunset, just like Thanos.

His work doesn't feel fresh to me now. It's like he has lost that motivation for the story he once had. I mean, I don't know; it just feels like it.

Best stories are usually the ones where you can relate to characters. Characters that are down to earth and have troubles relatable to human nature.

SIUs quality of writing wasn’t the fault of lowering the verses scaling. The story could still have been shit even if he kept his reality warping axis the same, and the blog posts as well. He had drafts, but the execution is what matters.

he just sucks more now at writing. It happens. Sadly it’s something we have to come to terms with without blaming his earlier drafts.

I think the main big issue of this spin off was pacing and character focus. Rather than introducing irrelevant characters like most regulars , SIU should have focused more on urek , baek , shining ones , FHs etc.

I think the admin could have give urek a very special test passing which he will become a ranker. Doing this SIU wouldn't need focus on urek's climb and interactions with regulars and we could have directly skipped to his interactions with FHs and zahard.

Yes, I can confidently say it's a better story because BP lore isn't a story. It's not even at the level of a idea for a story. It's mostly just some random ideas SiU had for characters. It's no different from a article in a wiki.
