How does it compliment?
Tubs is spam voting Gry, I never voted in a pack my vote was on you solo until the last 3 minutes when I paniced and followed sam.

You've lowkey just made that up.
Did you even read my post?

It compliments one another as usually Mafia will pool votes into the Main Vote Contender(s), then have a sporadic distribution of solo outside options that haven't been fully considered yet.

There's no making that up, it's my opinion :)

Took a quick re-read and Nash is talking about day 2 votes while you're talking about day 1

You could both clarify for each other instead of getting sassy 😭

Non optimal play != evil
I'm drawing attention, claiming actions, claiming a role befor I understand the game. Really think if anything I've done has helped an evil agenda cause if I'm hiding anything a spy/det will just clap me.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Okay so I assumed quack was in cause Lori literally claimed it.
I assumed spiritbomb was in cause 2 people claimed passive roles.
I discussed if Samurai is in or not with lawl and DD.

You've misrepresented that situation too.

Also you made sure to toss some shade my way for good measure.

Pidge are you evil or just out for my blood
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Lori here is Stylether. Accidentally used his nickname soz.
No misrepresentation, it's a fact you & DD bounced off each other regarding the potential roles, in the basis of "if the hosts mention then, why wouldn't they be in the game" - thats trying to game the hosts.

Feels a lot liek you both (you & DD) conveniently ignored the "might" in the Host Post of Possible Additional Roles.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Thanks McBhai

That's fair... but it's clear I'm talking about Day 1... as Nash hasn't even voted today that I can see...
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Nash is talking about Day 1 too - I struggle to see how they could even consider they would be in Danger via Yesterdays Vote.

I chose Sam because he is a voice. I could have gone for Stylether, would have been the obvious choice given day 1, but I thought mafia might not go for the obvious choice and target someone influential instead.

Time for some revealing on my part.
Doug is Doug Simpson, a character from the tv show The Brady Bunch.
Yes, doug & brady are bolded. Because put together, they make an anagram of:
Bodyguard
There you have it. Let’s kabedon those BK rats until they make mistakes?
I see. Thanks for being so forward.
Don't think Mafia would have chosen Sam when we got so many active claims for their first kill, but if going after influential voices then Sam was clearly the most outspoken day 1. Think same for today as well.

So we got Doug Brady and James hasn't claimed yet.

Probably a bit of a nothing burger question but thoughts on mine and Nash's respective reads on players?
They're all quite different and I don't agree with you two's lists obviously. I kinda dislike that you only got James in red and noone else but I suppose it's a difficult game. And Nash's list made me trust Nash less.. And the immediate trust for me to vote James after, with lawl joining in. Hm.

Top 3 most sus for you atm?
Lemme go through everyone, it'll help form my thoughts on my end as well:

Brandi - First to vote Kako, beyond that hasn't really pushed for anyone else. Seems to trust Nash and Erin above the town average (#348). Seems to be taking it chill thusfar, not sure if that's indicative of anything.

DD - Left their D1 vote on a meme vote, said something somewhat supportive of Nash, said something somewhat unsupportive of Gry, James and Erin, has voted Gry in line with the latter, but no posts indicate anything to actually back up these views, aside from Gry voting them up d1.

Eri - Pretty empty D1 but voting out the inactive makes sense when you got no reads yet. Poked Gry and Lawl a little, poked Sam a lot (understandable), but seems to mostly have limited her reads to "the people who wagoned me yesterday are sus". I do like how she is trying to gain more info from other townies by poking them to give reads, that's always a plus.

Gry - Opens with "my role will be ineffective" which irks me a bit. Seems to trust Brandish, myself, nash and somewhat teubs during d1, which is curious because Brandish' d1 until that point was 90% meme posts and otherwise voting Kako and some minor interactions with Nash. It seems surprisingly out-of-nowhere. On the other side, the vote on DD is reasonable in my eyes. Poking Erin, James and Teub (understandably on the last one) during D2. Greenchecks Holt and AP (what...). I would love to see a fleshed out viewlist from Gry at this point.

Holt - Not a lot to analyse so far, hints about their role, votes Nash, targets me with their ability, continues to tunnel Nash. Hoping to see more from Holt, since railing on the town abuse goblin could be a form of coasting.

James - Missed ya buddy, unfortunate you weren't here D1. Poked Gry a bit, pokes Nash a lot, but the sentiments mirror those I've shared here so I feel quite good on James right now. Plus, his reasoning for his ability use (Marm was nice to him) feels townie. I only know James for the duration of 1 game, but I got the impression that trying to corner the mechanics is one of his things, plus he only just arrived, so I'm unsure what people were expecting of him.

Lawl - Aside from their samurai convo, made a meme vote on d1 and kept it. Spent most of D2 wailing on the abuse goblin (Nash) and left a vote on James without explanation. Not inspiring a lot of confidence, plus seems strangely fixated on Samurai. Would love to hear the reasoning for the James vote, and if there are any other reads.

Marms - Shared my view on Nash, poked AP a little, voted Kako, greenchecked Sam, poked soon to die Kako for d1. Generally, pretty median behavior. I do like that she tried to prevent a thunderdome between Sam and Erin, having those this early in the game is unconductive, so I agree with that. Her reads during d2 are effectively "Nash, Gry, Teubs, Lawl and James are concerning, Sam is green", which continues her greenchecking of Sam from d1 so at least that's consistent.

Nash - Sigh. Claims hider d1. Consequently became the abuse goblin for the rest of town from that point onwards. Does an early greencheck on me, sam and teubs, which is interesting considering Sam costarred her Eri wagon later on. Interacted a lot with people's hints and the getting of more of them. Early vote on AP is curious considering AP wasn't the only one who had hinted solely being active. Shares sentiment against Kako and Erin and a tiny bit marms early on, so at least it stayed consistent. Said Teub is acting pretty townlike despite having only memeposted until then. Then says she would consider voting James if there's no better vote, then says she is still between Kako and AP and would vote James between Erin and James, then ultimately wagons Erin with Sam. Bit incoherent all in all for d1. Hides behind me (brave) during the night. D2 is mostly on the defense, understandably so, and redchecks mostly people who wailed on the abuse goblin, also understandable. Her reads list is pretty alright, even if I don't agree entirely. If Brandish ever flips evil she is defo evil as well. Beyond that, I do get the impression she is just overwhelmed and misplaying town at this point.

PIdge - Opening comments are surprisingly adversarial towards common tactics (dislikes early voters, dislikes people using votes as pressure, dislikes people giving early reads, dislikes big hints, what exactly are we supposed to do d1 then hahaha). After getting voted by Nash, tears into her and votes her later on. Also negatively associates DD with Nash. D2 has AP drop DD for Teub on the 'also bad alongside Nash' list, which is kinda wild. Stated not to have used their ability.

Sam - Mr Big Poster, let's go. Thankfully the first page is all memes. Page 2 is discussing hints or my claim. Did greencheck a bunch of people at differing degrees, which is interesting cause that early on a lot of the greenchecking had to come from people's memeposts considering most of d1 was memeposting. Top green were myself, Nash, Teubs and Gry, where Nash has myself, Teubs, Brandish, Gry and Sam and Gry has myself, Brandish, Nash and lesser Teubs. Feels a bit cabalish. Interaction with Erin start of d2 feels normal. Defends Nash quite thoroughly. Asks the 2 Gry voters for elaboration (would love to hear it as well). Appreciate the posts with hints and mechanics, feels like someone trying to make information more freely available, which is pretty towncore. His reads list has decent elaboration, and I agree with plenty of it, so really, Sam is either a phenomenal deepwolf trying to keep his team afloat or just town. If any of the cabal flips red, maybe consider him, otherwise, nah.

Teub - D1 is memes and an unexplained Gry vote. Started D2 claiming that he would have swapped to Erin if he was awake. Then votes Gry again, once again mostly unexplained (Wth is Mazino Freeman). Used his ability on Sam. Would love to hear reasoning for the Gry vote, or even just more interactions with others.

So, end results, my top 3 sus would be:
AP, Teub, DD, in that order. The next 3 would be Gry, Lawl, Brandish.

Analysis and formatting all this has taken 2h. Jesus why did I do this.

I'd rather not, for more than one reason. One being more of a personal, embarrassing, reasoning than due the game's nature.

I don't get why you think I'm scummy for asking about Spirit bomb and Quack to clarify the stuff the roles ain't talking about. I could just ask these questions per DM or at night if I were Scum, while leaving town being none the wiser if Spirit bomb also becomes an Illusion when blown up or not or if Quack Illusions pop when Quack dies or not. Also Quack Illusions not counting towards Shapeshifter wincon. Which btw I haven't asked, Panda added that info himself.

Bodyguard in a samurai game is pretty evil of hosts. "We have introduced a bodyguard variant but decided to just use the original, cheers!"

Oh? How would a fleshed out viewlist look like? Compared to my bigger earlier post about all players on page 17 or 18. Want me to go more in-depth with my views on some people?

I get the theory behind your statement (have maf split their votes so you can't read into their voting pattern) but by that logic any pair works since the difference between 'no cohesion between votes because they aren't a team' and 'no cohesion between votes because they're trying to not look like a team' look identical from the outside. This feels like confirmation bias at work.

You could indeed ask those via DM, but then you got nothing to feign activity with at day - ie. it looks like you wanting to appear active rather than being active. I was checking all your posts at the time of my big summary post and more than half the posts is mechanic talk which leaves me nothing to work with, while the couple posts addressing game stuff just reads fake(harder to explain).
I dont think any of those interactions matter yet, and the couple towns left at endgame will have forgotten these details if they become relevant at that point.

I'm still primarily looking at Teubier & Nash... I simply indicated that I didn't understand or relate at all with how both Nash & DD bounced off one another, regarding taking "might" be in the game, as a definitive admission of these will be in the game, so both randomly jumped the gun based on another claim, which we cannot yet prove said role exit's, nor can we prove whether the 3 "might" roles are actually in the game.

You what? You hid behind the doc? And you think that's a smart move? Hiding behind a townie instead of a mafia? For all we know if Style was protected by Quack while killed by Mafia N1, that death/Illusion would extend to you as well. Still think that was a good idea?
Your day 1 claim and night 1 target so far are not good moves as Hider, so I hope you're lying and are something else.
I have to hide behind a non-mafia cause hider dies if they hide behind the faction trying to kill them.

It compliments one another as usually Mafia will pool votes into the Main Vote Contender(s), then have a sporadic distribution of solo outside options that haven't been fully considered yet.
I understand the theory but I'm failing to see its application to me/sam which is the context you brought it up in.

Plus in a day decided by so few votes, all it took to launch me into majority tie with kako was you and Holt voting me. At which point Kako naturally self defend voted me.

If you want to use voting theory you and Holt spearheaded an alt lynch which would inherently leave Kako very suspect after I flip town for you to chainlynch.

Feels a lot liek you both (you & DD) conveniently ignored the "might" in the Host Post of Possible Additional Roles
I theorised that Samurai didn't exist for a while in that talk, so I was very aware of the "might". Also, how is my opinion on if they do or don't exist alignment indicative?

If it was confirmation bias, I could've just faked a det result on Nash, then pushed to see where it went.

but I don't see the point in lying.

I have to hide behind a non-mafia cause hider dies if they hide behind the faction trying to kill them.
But this only matters before you claim Hider, as then mafia may attempt to kill you. After claiming Hider why would mafia risk trying to kill you and hope you hide behind one of them/don't PM action?

We had a few times newbies think hiding behind mafia = death automatically, like when using pirate on mafia, but surely that's not what you thought. A D1 Hider claim would always exclude you from mafia's pool of kill targets.

I somehow skipped over your post on page 18, but upon reading it, would indeed want to hear why you're greenchecking AP and Holt as much as you are right now, considering their behavior seems a bit unconductive to town in my perception of things.
