#5. Don't post news about series from other magazine or publishers in the WSJ thread, post in the series own thread, but it's fine if you're mentioning other series or magazine to express a opinion or reflection about Shonen Jump.
#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

also damn Hal Formula 8th? with no Color Page next issue? I can't believe that Cannon Master might get the best first chapter placement (judging by how its consistently around number 6 with its "pre-ranked chapters")

Shinobi has gotten 2 consecutive color pages 3 times in 77 chapters! and the first time was a color page followed by a cover & lead color page! Kiyoshi is getting for the first time after 105 chapters, i feel like these are not comparable at all

Good color pages all around, Roku is a cute one but i wished it was a little "more", but well i guess is just the first one

Man,there's something about Under Doctor color pages, they're always simple but always with this really cool vibe, Tanimoto is one of these artists that has a sense of coolness.

It's the worst selling jump manga in the main lineup and it gets treated way better than some of the regulars. Who wouldn't be mad?

Notice how no one ever complains that Hertz is getting all kinds of special treatment?

No one would be complaining if Kiyoshi's PUSH too if it correlates with the growth it's getting. (which is none existent.)

It's not getting treated better than any regular, it literally just gets a color page from time to time and that's it. Getting the anniversary cover is the bare minimum Jump series usually get.

Yeah, a weird Saito decision last year related to Nue, but that doesn't mean Kiyoshi gets better treatment when Nue gets more color pages, advertisement and tons of merchandise, Kiyoshi gets nothing besides some color pages, so there's realistic nothing to get mad about it

It’s unsuccessful, it’s not popular, it won’t sell, grow or show any signs of something that deserves to be in the magazine, yet… it’s getting another push. How bad can favoritism get? Like what’s the point, only because the author was Oda’s assistant?

I’m not hating on the series btw, I think it’s a fun story. But this is all ridiculous.

If anything I think Kiyoshi's getting exactly as much promotion as it should, considering its only had the cover for its anniversaries and this is its very first consecutive colour page as well. Shinobigoto has been given consecutive colour pages 3 times already plus an extra cover despite only performing a little better than Kiyoshi does.

Contrast that with the bigger hits like Ichi having 8 covers so far not even at its second anniversary, and Someone Hertz already having two before its first anniversary. Then there's Akane-banashi getting 7 covers in its first two years as a mid-tier hit.

In terms of having fairly frequent colour pages in general, it's always important to consider that a bunch of the long running authors aren't able to make them regularly. Kagurabachi for example doesn't even do regular colour pages any more, only covers. So they have to give colour pages to someone.

can we leave this "kiyoshi isn't getting axed because usui is odas former assistant" bs in the past? Especially on Reddit this is everywhere. Ryou Ishiyama, Haruto Ikezawa, Yuusaku Shibata, Daiki Ihara and many more failed despite being former Oda assistants. Heck even Takamasa Moue's Ole Golazo. Kiyoshi is here and being promoted because it has earned its mainstay spot, name 2 series from 2025 that outsold kiyoshi (modulo doesnt count cause duh). No offense to you btw.

I agree! It's very simple but it has a vibe. Tbf, I love Tanimoto's art. I hope he can do another cover soon. (Well, soonest would be like October lol)
While I think about it, I should do a ranking of my fav artists in the current lineup. (Kawae prob on top lol)

Also, I'm a bit worried about Hal Formula's 8th place. Hope it will go up in the next issues.

And... As always, Kiyoshi get some weird hate when it gets a color page. (I'm not pointing anyone here btw, I know some like the series but don't get why it's still here) But yeah, it's an established series, Editorials thought it was worth it to keep Kiyoshi around so it's fine I guess. We're readers, not investors.
