#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

It's a pretty interesting scenario because vol 2 is supposedly showing quite the drop but at the same time vol 1 is charting pretty well after 2 months, and that really doesn't happen when a manga is "dropping in sales", having backlog volume charting and in the 100's range, and surely these aren't scalpers anymore, hopefully this causes vol 2 to actually keep going for a longer time than Kiyoshi making it "recover" part of the lost sales by scalpers not targeting it anymore.

True, its just that I really don't follow sales compared to most here. But UD tends to flip flop a lot of times between middle and bottom for a hot minute. So I tend to be confused about it at times.

That is not what the TOC placements are showing, though.

You do know that the reason for the placement right now has nothing to do with the current story. If I remember the god placement is made based on a couple of chapters ago to define the placement for one of the upcoming issues.

As an example , the first placement of canon master is on the middle bottom, which represents the debut of its first chapter. So the same could be said for all series currently.

I think it's pretty clear already Under Doctor vol. 1 sales don't mean much. This could just be the scalpers still thinking a Horikoshi obi means a lot or the actual readers that wanted to buy it before finally getting the chance to. lol Unless they really care about drops, it should still be safe over the other smaller series though.

Not gonna spoil what happens since i don't know if they're going to translate, but yes, the one shot is horror and mixed with action (some big scale action), and Horikoshi art looks amazing in the one shot, you can feel he really enjoyed drawing it, maybe is because i've been noticing a bit too much how current authors in the magazine are struggling to keep their art consistent and taking corners here and there but looking at Hori finished and clean artstyle is really satisfying, it's another level.

Well, that’s not surprising, is it? Hori’s had this cooking in the oven for at least 1,5 years. So that’s plenty of time to polish the art

Kohei Horikoshi author profile for his new one shot mentions Akira, Historie & Berserk as his favorite manga series!

A message by him: "I'm so glad I was able to focus and stick to Jump! I tried out a bunch of different things I wanted to experiment with! I hope you enjoy it!"

Not surprising since it was obviously going to happen what i do think is a bit weird is how it went from 1.004.000 million to 985.000 in just a matter of 3 months! It's not like anything really happened for them to be forced to drop 20k copies (i doubt Blue Box ending did that lol)

You guys keep saying that sales don't matter, what matters are the TOC rankings, but some manga in the high positions aren't attracting any audience.

Shueisha have just dropped a new service (MANGA MILLION) currently hosts 382 manga titles, all of which are available in English - for free.

Still going through the list for new translations, but Kochikame getting hundreds of chapter released is kind of incredible. My completionism of the early years of Jump just got a bit easier.

The magazine numbers have decreased since long ago. Even before the inclusion of Kagurabachi and Ichi. And those manga sell ever since the beginning. Having manga that sell will not alter the decrease.

I just hope the entry price isn’t too high…. Shueisha should be mindful of each country’s buying power, like what Steam does with their games.

Having hundreds of Kochikame chapters is definitely a surprise, just a quick check there's also a lot of unnexpected stuff, hope these get "ripped" and saved to when this "limited time" service eventually either goes down or under a paywall so stuff doesn't get lost.

Had a browse of the platform. Genuinely really cool. It's good to see a lot of stuff that has never had an official English translation before. Cool to see Kochikame and also to have an official translation of most of Oumagadoki Zoo. This must have been a great deal of work behind the scenes. I'll appreciate it before it's taken away.

Although some weird omissions. No Toriko, but they do have the Toriko spin off. And again, has Oumagadoki Zoo but doesn't have Barrage.
