Yeah so I'm guessing the anime will only go up to God Valley in 2027. And they'll finish it off in this film makes me think we'll be getting more time and new scenes with Rocks pirates, Roger pirates, Garp, Shakky and Imu.



And the fact the D written with a capital makes me confident. It'll have something to with Will of D. and it's main antagonist is a member of than clan. The fact it's about 3 years away makes think gives Oda plenty of time to give more information what the D. means and what it stands for. Even if it's obvious the D. initial stands for Dawn.

I go to the cinemas regurlarly so I'm not opposed to this but it has to feel like a movie. Reze Arc for example was incredible. God Valley by itself is coherent too so I don't see any issue of them adapting it as a movie.

I hardly watch the anime save for some fight scenes and none of the movies so far, not even Film Red but I think I will go see the God Valley movie.

A god valley movie definitely catches me off guard. I am not sure of what they are trying to say with the BlAckbeArD thing though.

I think Oda will use movies from now on to tell stories that we can't fully see in manga or anime - everyone is saying that the movie will have more things - like the reason for Xebec going to Reverie - and it will be in Roger POV in some parts - and it will be canon - so i bet in BAAD being at least some part of the Void Century Flashback ! - They will do the dragon ball treatment in anime after !

If it's true imagine - we finally seeing more of that era !!

The title is all caps but it's probably intentional that the D in god valley looks like it was shot and shattered.

Most of the letters are also shattered (although admittedly the D is the most shattered)

I feel like a “.” after the D would have better served if the D was meant to serve as some kind of significant hint.

Feels like people are reading too much into it. It’s not Go D. Valley. (But that would actually be kind of cool if it was.)

I like this hypothesis a lot more than BlAckbeArD. But who would it be based on? We got all these Ds right and everyone have a pretty unique backstory already so if this movie is about Ds, I wonder if it is another flashback or focused on a different characters? It is very possible that moving forward, a lot of movies may not be centered on the SHPs but instead, standalone gaidens of sorts.

And if what I say comes true, we might even get a story/movie about the original people who were "born" as Ds taking place before or during the void century. I'd imagine a lot of D folks were hunted down after Joyboy and his allies lost the war so it will be interesting to see how these folks struggled to survive.

I have a feeling that - it will be like God Valley, a canon flashback movie - Elbaf arc is supposed to end in anime in the midst of 2028 - so the movie being around 2029 - makes enought room to end Elbaf arc and start another arc (load star) and the movie could be exactly the middle term of that seas9n - its my guess !)

I think God Valley film will be one of those that catches box office analysts and film hobbyists by suprise by becoming the most watched film of the summer globally, and top three for the whole year. Kinda like Irong Lugn or Onsession caught people off guard.

Id love a Blackbeard film, but I think the BlAckbeArD thing is far fetched. I think even the somali theory makes more sense.

Apparently baad in somali means "search". In SBS Oda has given characters real live nationalities. Blackbeard is somali. So the search would be BBs Search for the One Piece. So basically the whole story of OP recapped from his perspective.
