How does this matter? The killer of DD would have no reason to say they targeted him the night he died, he was the spy who could check it.

If both of us survive D3 and N3, I can impart you a Terrified trait, it is written as negative but from another perspective you might think it as a buff, too. You will feel like living in that state, better than death.
