Bro will realize his powerup already happened a couple arcs ago hahaha. It was so awesome his powerup has to be reintroduced lmao. All laughs aside though, this is underwhelming for me because...I mean because Zoro Vs King already happened.

But let's discuss the controversy here. Does Mihawk have CoC? Well, the spoilers are not explicit. I can imagine a world where an experienced person can know a ton about CoC without possessing it themselves. That said, this is trending in the direction of Mihawk having CoC.

Next chapter will likely be focused on Sanji vs Killingham and then the killshot chapter(s) for both Sanji and Zoro before Imu gets sent back.

No no cutting away, Oda needs to finish the Zoro Fight Next Chapter, That’s How One Piece used to Be. Not cutting back and forth between different fights.
As for Sanji that’s probably one of the last Fights we see in the Arc, Considering that fight resolves so many Plot Points, Killingham, Zaza, and The Dream Monsters in Elbaf will all come to an end after the Sanji Fight.

I'm having hard time grappling with how this ends - will Sommers and Killingham die like Harald or will SHs find some middle way?

Maybe breaking the steel heart doesn't kill them but just breaks the immortality, leaving them vulnerable for real. So it might be steel heart gets broken -> they get pummeled to near death and captured.

I feel like we could start to figure things out if we knew why the hearts appear to be machinery, and why machine sounds are associated with someone like Gunko. (When she was controlled, the sound was "bzzt" if I recall, right before Imu took over).
Why does a supernatural pact lead to metal hearts?

I dont know if Oda is actually saying magic and technology are one in the same at sufficiently high levels, but one of the easiest solutions to this would just be to make it so that if the metal heart is destroyed, they get teleported back to where they came from and get their real heart back.

Oda might ease/dehumanise the death by making them shrivel up into bones like Saturn did. I think that would make it seem less like a killing and more of a slaying (as in slaying a monster, like when zoro killed the dragon in punk hazard)

All of the plot in OP is so repetitive that with every arc it feels too stretched in time. Practically all of those fights are in the same scenario. No one of the good side is going to lose I guess, as always
