Lancelot just no diffed a freaking Indura , how long can Zeldris last ? , he should be no diffed to be honest.
I’d simply recommend going back and watching the fight — or rather, the brief clash — between Lancelot and Temu Escanor, because it shows how absurd it is to assume that Lancelot would effortlessly dominate every powerful character in this verse.
People were saying the exact same thing back then. Most expected him to defeat Temu Escanor instantly and turn the fight into an absolute walk in the park… but we all saw how that turned out. 😂

So before claiming that Lancelot is going to easily defeat this character or that character, at least wait until we actually see him do it.
Against fodder, the author tends to portray Lancelot as overwhelmingly superior. But against high-level characters from SDS, that’s simply not what we’ve seen so far.

We’ve had Nanashi, Temu Escanor, and even Carthur to some extent. Lancelot didn’t simply one-shot these characters.

All of that is to say that claiming Lancelot would easily defeat Zeldris is pretty absurd.
Yes, logically, Lancelot should win. But that doesn’t automatically mean it would be a no-diff.
Especially when we’re talking about the same Lancelot who currently has to break himself apart at times just to minimize the damage caused by Cath’s impulses, even though those impulses have become increasingly difficult for him to contain.

So before throwing around “no diff,” at least wait and see how Nakaba actually decides to handle Lancelot fighting someone on Zeldris’ level. 😂

I kinda gave up on ever seeing the remaining types of Indura after the Demon Realm arc ended without showing us any, so I'm positively surprised that Nakaba decided to feature a new one here. It's a shame it died before doing anything though. I also wanted to learn how the various types differ from another.
The Indura of Favor are straightforward enough since they've literally received their lord's favor in the form of the Commandments, but how do you get the four other variants? Could the Indura of Retribution be produced by someone forcefully sacrificing another demon's hearts, perhaps as a form of capital punishment? Losing your sense of self and spending the rest of your existence as a monster would make for a pretty metal execution method. In the same vein, I wonder if the Indura of Ashes could be the result of a recently deceased demon having this same process performed on them to bring them back from the dead in a new form, essentially making them rise from the ashes like a phoenix? The Indura of Time sounds like it would have something to do with aging, but I'm not sure an elderly demon having six heart attacks would qualify as sacrificing those hearts. Lastly there's the Indura of Thunder, which could be the result of some kind of natural disaster that just randomly triggers the transformation, like the demon equivalent of spontaneous self-combustion. That's about as far as I can theorize based on just the names. I will note that the bottom right Indura sketch in the above pic was always my favorite design of the four so fingers crossed that it belongs to the one teased in this chapter.

Anyway, hopefully this other Indura will be able to put up more of a fight if Nakaba is building up its arrival like this. At the very least it will probably provide Zeldris with an escape route so that he only has to stall Lancelot for five minutes in order to save his people, which should be doable. And no, Nakaba is not going to kill him off. The demons escaping to the Abyss prison that once held demon-Gowther was not on my bingo card, but it works as a way to save them from Lancelot's rampage. You can't exactly have one of the heroes committing literal genocide, even if it is against filthy demons. The fate of the realm itself might not be so rosy, although if Lancelot really plans to wipe it off the map entirely then he's going to have to face Behemoth as well. That thing should be a much bigger threat than the Indura if even the DK only managed to put it to sleep. I could see Lancelot currently being strong enough to kill it, but depending on how that goes down it might be difficult to explain how Ban and the KotA are able to defeat him later. I still want it to happen because I'm really curious about the impact Behemoth's demise would have on the world. It's a mysterious ancient creature of incredible power so it feels like it being slain would result in something interesting, for example releasing all the energy contained within or alerting the "great one" of the life spirits. Such a development could have long-term significance that extends way beyond this arc.

What rock have you been living under, bro? Lancelot was nerfed by Anne's magic when he was fighting Temu Escanor.

Anyway, some people are saying this Indura isn't as powerful as the one the Seven Deadly Sins defeated.

I'm also inclined to believe that Lancelot is on the level of the Seven Deadly Sins.

But they keep saying he's beyond the Demon King when he has no feats that support this claim.

However, if he is to destroy the Behemoth, then surely he must be at the level of the Demon King at least.

I'm starting to think the main reason people dislike Lancelot is the endless powerscalling debate that erupts at the drop of a hat, with the other reasons being more rationalizations.

I still think Lancelot with Nanashi's sword is stronger than this current version of Lancelot because of the difference in the color of their hazy moon .

And that makes no sense.
I think the quality of the weapon being made by Dubs gives him more buff than Chaos and Ysaye's spear.

Why else are the colors different ? ,Chaos Lancelot still hasn't shown that dark hazy moon , it's still light colored.

I hope once the other 3koa catch up to Lancelot the debates will stop, but somehow I doubt it.

Since when does gravity affect magical power? Or even the physical strength being exerted?
Until proven otherwise, it was Lance’s speed that was being affected by gravity, because Anne’s magic simply placed increased gravity on him.
So what happened against the Escanor clone?

Besides, I’m not making any statement about Lancelot’s actual level here. I’m talking about how this fight is likely to play out. And based on what we’ve already seen, claiming, like you are, that Lance will easily beat Zeldris is pretty absurd.
We’ve already seen the exact same kind of comments being made about Temu Escanor, and we all saw how that turned out. 😂

So before claiming that Lance will have an extremely easy fight for one reason or another, especially against powerful characters who lived during the SDS era, we should simply wait and see.
Because so far, the author has consistently made sure that Lance doesn’t just casually beat these characters. I’ve already given you a few examples: CArthur, Nanashi, and even Temu Escanor.

With Nanashi and Temu Escanor, for example, most people thought Lance would beat them easily. Yet what we actually saw was completely different.

So, in my opinion, let’s just wait and see how this fight actually plays out.

Other than the information about the prison, the most interesting part of this chapter for me is Zeldris being able to get in Lancelot’s lake aura and land a hit on him without his movements being particularly disturbed by the flow.
Does he still have DK’s “GOD” magic to cancel Lancelot’s magic ? Could it be that the DK just took it temporarily from him ?
Or you just have to be as strong or stronger than Zeldris to be able to resist/bypass the flow of a far stronger Lancelot ? I can’t wait to see how Zeldris magic will work on Lancelot. Depending on that confrontation Lancelot may reveal himself to not be that unbeatable.

Also kinda interesting use of his magic flow against that Indura here. He’s doing what he did to materialize weapons against Percy but now offensively. I’m even more convinced that he can’t amp his physical significantly with his toiled water which is why he ressort to such skills.

I’m sure it won’t. The debates will be something like “even tho they are at the same level there is still a gap between Lancelot and the other” or “the other still have a long way to go to be able to fight Lancelot on equal footin even tho they are at the same level. Lancelot absorbs everything” or something like that.

It's outright stated in chapter 316 that Induras of favor are the most powerful.

That makes no sense , carrying that much weight doesn't just decrease speed , it also decreases strength , that's common sense bro.

If that Indura is as powerful as the 7DS fought than he should no diff is what I'm saying but if it's not then this should a bit closer fight than we think.

But then again all these statements about Lancelot being above the demon king makes it very hard to powerscale him because that statement is backed by no feat so far.

The only way I could believe it if he nukes the behemoth.

Nah, Lance. This isn't like you to think like this. Especially not after all this BS.

Cool to see the Induras.

Get ready for the Zeldris upscale.
I doubt Zeldris in DM2 gonna do anything. He need something even more than assault mode just to withstand Lance weakest attack at this point

Interesting what happened in this chapter , Zeldris just entered Lancelot's Hazy Moon and pushed him away with no scratch on him whatsover lol.

Also , any chance that Lancelot is using Hazy Moon to protect himself from Miasma because it's harmful to him despite how strong he is ?

He's still a human-fairy hybrid , he doesn't have the demonic immunity or the goddess healing ability so miasma should still effect him , right ?

But then again , Hazy Moon is 24/7 active within Lancelot's body.

At some point you have to let go of this obsession you have with wanting all your headcanon ideas to be right even when the story literally tells you their wrong
