This is what it means to have Demon King level of strength btw ,Chaos Lancelot being effected by Ominous Nebula means he's nowhere near this level yet.

Exactly , he has Infinite Magic so of course he has more magic , that's always been the point.Maybe Lancelot has above demon king magic power, but below demon king physical strength.
This chapter mainly proves that we were seriously mistaken in claiming that Lance absorbed enemy magic solely through his own magic. He does it thanks to the lake, since the energy he generates around himself seems to be that lake, as Zeldris just stated. Basically, Lance can materialize the lake around himself and thus absorb attacks.Isn't it interesting that Zeldris mentioned Lancelot's aura, or 'Hazy Moon,' reminds him of the Lake?
This makes me wonder: maybe what we've been calling 'Hazy Moon' all this time isn't actually Hazy Moon, but just Lancelot flexing his Lake powers?
Or perhaps it's a combination of the Lake's power and Hazy Moon? As in, something Lancelot wouldn't even be able to pull off without the Lake?
Honestly, I don't know anymore. We need a proper reveal for Hazy Moon because I'm getting confused!
But either way, this definitely inspired a new theory about it.
He refuses to acknowledge this simple detail: if all his current strength were due to the lake, then comments about his power would be absurd, since the characters here take into account that he was literally boosted by chaos. The theory that it is solely a matter of the Lake's magic falls apart under any logical analysis.
Lancelot has possessed the Lake's power since childhood, yet no one ever considered him vastly stronger than the Demon King as they do now, if the Lake were the deciding factor, it would have been mentioned long before now.
It seems Nakaba really does place Lancelot above the Demon King, but his execution of this concept is very poor.
Perhaps the way the Supreme Deity was defeated by Meliodas and Zeldris in Cursed by Light truly reflects Nakaba's view on the balance of power.
Nakaba even went so far as to claim recently that the Demon King can't break Ban.
I am not sure if Nakaba has changed his mind regarding the power gap between the DK/SD and the rest, or if we are simply dealing with power scaling as bad as that of Fairy Tail.
I actually called this before. I predicted a month or so ago that Lancelot managed to absorb the lake because he lacks a limiter. This chapter mainly proves that we were seriously mistaken in claiming that Lance absorbed enemy magic solely through his own magic. He does it thanks to the lake, since the energy he generates around himself seems to be that lake, as Zeldris just stated. Basically, Lance can materialize the lake around himself and thus absorb attacks.
This chapter didn't shock me that much; I was already expecting it, given what the author has already shown of Lance's fights against the SDS characters.
Are you stupid or what?Nakaba never placed Lancelot above the Demon King.
The only people who saw Lancelot's manifestation of magic are the ones present at the fight between Lancelot and Nanashi, and they praised the sheer quantity of his magic.
There was no one else to compare him to the Demon King because they had never seen the Demon King themselves.
Only Zeldris, the son of the Demon King, felt his magic and compared it to his father's. That is all.
Lancelot is simply manifesting the Lake's magic, which we already know is enormous and above the Demon King's level, but what is the point?
He has all this raw magic but lacks an actual technique to utilize it without a proper Sacred Treasure.
Furthermore, his physical strength lags behind the Demon King's. As we can see, he is getting thrown around by the Ominous Nebula.
In contrast, Escanor in "The One" state—which is basically on par with the Demon King physically—managed to easily walk right through it like it was nothing.
lancelot parrying nebula is far better feat then bumcanor walks in it, ressisting vacuum means nothingWeight matters ?
Exactly , he has Infinite Magic so of course he has more magic , that's always been the point.
But with Lancelot , he has no magical attacks that can actually utilize his Infinite Magic because he needs a sacred treasure to utilize it.
So the only thing that he's got going for him is his physical strength which we can see isn't at the level of the demon king.
No, you're wrong."Chaos Lancelot is far stronger than Demon King'
Remove the "far" and is correct: Lancelot is stronger than Demon King, not far stronger, just that.
And ofc
Base Lancelot is weaker than Demon King, but anyone here should know that.
And @Covers said that there would be nothing more powerful than Lancelot of Chaos, including the users of full chaos itself like Arthur.
Chaos Lancelot must have been nerfed by the script; the author wouldn't know how to handle it.
It's good that it opens up more space for new villains to actually be on Chaos Lancelot's level.
no bro, he’s still going to read the text in manga panels—stuff nobody else cares about—however he pleases and come up with ridiculous theoriesAre you stupid or what?
If we go by your logic, meaning that Lance is portrayed as being superior to the Demon King solely because of the Lake, then logically, he should have already been described as superior to the Demon King a long time ago, long before the Chaos boost.
But that was never stated.
Even during the Demon arc, when Lance unleashed his power against Nanashi, we never got any statement saying that he already possessed power superior to the Demon King, despite already having his infinite magical reserves.
Tristan, for example, when praising Lancelot’s power during the Liones arc, explicitly says that he is comparable to the Sins.
Yes, he is manifesting the magic coming from the Lake, but the power that comes from it primarily comes from his own magic. Zeldris never said, while standing before the Lake, that the power coming from it was superior to the Demon King’s, because the Lake represents an infinite magical reserve in the first place.
Try actually reading the manga, bro.
When we say that Chaos Lancelot is superior to the Demon King, we are talking about his overall power. Basically, Lancelot’s own power combined with Chaos power from Cath. That’s it.
So nothing allows you to claim that Lance is physically superior to the Demon King, because that comparison of superiority does not take every individual ability into account.
For example, Lance can be portrayed as superior to the Demon King in terms of overall power while still being unable to defeat him because of one specific factor: the Demon King’s magic.
For the record, that magic turns attacks into healing and vice versa.
So how exactly could Chaos Lancelot even defeat the Demon King if the crucial factor that puts him above him — his magical power — simply doesn’t work against him?
Against the Demon King with his magic activated, Lance could very well be unable to defeat him.
And that goes right back to the issue of hax. Despite Chaos Lancelot’s power, the Demon King possesses an ability that would give him the advantage.
And honestly, nothing here states that Lance still needs another weapon to fully utilize his power.
That’s something you’ve made up in your head.
The Chaos weapon he currently has seems to be exactly the weapon he needed, and you’re the one refusing to acknowledge it.
There was a time when we were debating Lance’s physical strength, and practically all of you agreed that he was massively stronger than his fellow knights, whereas I was mainly arguing that his speed was what put him on a level above his companions, rather than his actual physical strength.
And this chapter confirms that point: thanks to his speed, Lance is able, for a brief moment, to keep up with the incredibly fast attacks of the Sinister Nebula.
A little piece of advice: read your damn manga and maybe you won’t have such absurd takes on what is actually being shown.
I’m literally not changing what the manga says. It’s that simple.![]()

his shining road at full power did a hole in lake while lake is able to absorb nemesis but cant absorb shining road, that attack would wipe verseNo, you're wrong.
Not everyone knows that, since some people claim that Lance is considered stronger because of the lake.![]()
King estimated him by taking into account the overall power Lance could potentially have with the Chaos boost. That's why I said it's senseless glazing from King to put Lancelot above the Demon King.
King is the worst powerscaler and has a big mouth that almost cost Ban his life; we shouldn't take his words seriously.
The guy has never even seen Chaos Lancelot, so how did he scale him that high?

You can say that again!-Is the The people here seemed to assert that he was literally an almighty god and that there would be nothing more powerful in the franchise lol.
-These battle websites are a joke in my opinion.
King is the same guy who said Ban is the strongest btw.King estimated him by taking into account the overall power Lance could potentially have with the Chaos boost.
Just like Zeldris also stated that Lance was emitting a power superior to that of the Demon King. So this is perfectly consistent here.
He has the power, yes, but he doesn’t have the experience. Against hax that he’s unfamiliar with, especially abilities that are rather unique, he can absolutely be put in a difficult situation.
He has never been stated to possess physical strength superior to Escanor in The One. So is it really illogical that he could get caught by Zeldris’ Ominous Nebula?
At that point, he would have to rely on his tactical intelligence to overcome that restriction, just like Escanor did, although Escanor mainly relied on his physical power.
And in Lance’s case, he’ll clearly be able to overcome that obstacle through his magic, since that’s precisely what has been described as being superior to the Demon King’s.
Zeldris reaches that conclusion because he senses the power of Lance’s magic.
Now, take that same Demon King without his magic. Could he one-shot Zeldris?
I highly doubt it.
Factually, Zeldris hasn't gotten stronger since SDS.Chaos Lancelot might be > 100% Chaos Cath, but he can't uses well his power due to the conflict inside him I bet.
So Basically they had to nerft Chaos Lancelot or they won't stand a chance,
Also obviously Zel got stronger as he and Mel took down the SD who was equal to the DK.
Here, we're mainly talking about the image you had of him.How does this change anything? overall Chaos Lancelot is strongest this change nothing.

We don't know anything, the idea of holding back is just fan speculation, the same fan who should be holding back from unleashing Sparkling Roads without restraint against Zeldris.Because he is? He is at least low multi with Cath statements and current feats
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---
people does not understand it lol, he hold back rn, when cath forces him he will sent zeldris and his realm to hell, wait till next chap guus
Lancelot mostly relies on his physical strength to overcome his opponents; he usually only uses magical attacks to finish off fodder. Here, we're mainly talking about the image you had of him.
You absurdly thought he would defeat the overpowered characters in the series in an instant, which is absurd because it doesn't take into account hax, and that's an important element for comparing characters.
And in this fight, Zeldris uses his hax perfectly, and if Lance wants to win, just like Escanor, he'll have to find a way to counter it easily, and he will, demonstrating power far superior to Zeldris's. This is why you'll come here and say that the beginning of their fight made no sense, even though at the beginning Lance couldn't bypass Zeldris's hax.

So, it turns out their fans are smart. We don't know anything, the idea of holding back is just fan speculation, the same fan who should be holding back from unleashing Sparkling Roads without restraint against Zeldris.
You’re using Escanor resisting Ominous Nebula as an example… are you serious??This is what it means to have Demon King level of strength btw ,Chaos Lancelot being effected by Ominous Nebula means he's nowhere near this level yet.
