This panel is kinda weird. It looks like the other realms don't actually reside in separate dimensions (except for Chaos Camelot).
So, you remember that the Demon Realm, just like the Fairy Realm, was used as an example to show that Camelot was in a different dimension.

Camelot might be the only thing in a separate dimension but the other realms aren't , they're on the same plane of existence.

The separation of humans and non-humans might not be as straightforward as it seems.

It is highly plausible that Chaos Camelot is the original homeland of the Holy Grail knights; after all, if their home was Britannia, their journey to the past Chaos Camelot would be weird.

It is far more likely that humanity migrated to Chaos Camelot once it was reconstructed into a functional world. Meanwhile, the old world of Britannia—which was interconnected with the non-human realms—was either destroyed or compromised, prompting the remnants of humanity to seek refuge in Chaos Camelot.

Given that this separation occurred despite the realms being physically linked, two possibilities arise: either Britannia was isolated into a separate dimension akin to Chaos Camelot, or each non-human realm was confined to its own distinct dimension.

The phrase 'separation of humans and non-humans' strongly supports the idea that both factions now exist in two entirely different dimensions.

We have already been introduced to the idea that Chaos Camelot steals land from Britannia. So, I think that in the end, the entirety of Britannia will be absorbed into the dimension of Chaos Camelot, thus completing the separation of humans and non-humans.

Zeldris is cool but I find his ability really boring.
It's very boring - Zeldris is the type of character I want to see doing hand to hand not standing still while his (invisible) powers do the fighting.

I just like the way it's visualized here compared to how it was done in the past.

You know, I never noticed how much of a brick zeldris was in a fight. Ominous nebula is an incredibly powerful ability but to use it zeldris just stands around, swings his butterknife so fast that not even us readers can see it and since there has to be a plot it merely pushes people back rather than turning them into paste. Zeldris was never meant to have two serious fights.

Ah, how could I forget that you know more than the author? Don't worry, I'll let Nakaba know that he's wrong and that Mountain-Photo-165 from MangaHelpers knows more than he does.

Otherwise, why would the behemoth feel Nemesis's power, which caused the sea change?

They either exist underground, or perhaps in another land on the exact same plane of existence—though I'm more inclined to believe they're underground.
No,

Behemoth as a spirit sense the death of the demon king, just that

I've been thinking about Hazy Moon and the concept behind it, and it is such a cool idea!

I don't know how Nakaba came up with it, but he absolutely cooked.

The concept itself is very simple: Hazy Moon is a homing magic that locks onto targets.
  • Shining Road is aimed at a single target.
  • The Waning Moon of Destruction targets multiple enemies at once, bypassing their clothes in the process.
However, the most unique concept of Hazy Moon is that it implicitly considers its own user—Lancelot himself—as the default and first target.

In 7DS/4KOTA universe, magic and physical strength are usually separate.

Magical power doesn't naturally circulate through the physical body like standard shounen power system.

But because Hazy Moon constantly targets Lancelot, it results in his magic streaming and flowing entirely within his physical body.

As a result, Lancelot functions like a classic shonen character who has Ki, Chakra, Haki, or Nen constantly circulating through their body.

This is exactly what makes Lancelot so uniquely broken and distinct in this story.

Can't say i find the idea of lancelots magic being just generic goku shit to be all that interesting. Maybe slightly infuriating considering how much nakaba has hyped it but.. meh. The story probably would be slightly better off if this is handled the same way as meliodas' innate magic.

I see your point but in the 7DS/4KOTA verse where magic and physical strength are separate , it is a very unique magic.

He's like the only typical shounen character in the verse who has magic flowing into his body , that makes him special.

Base Chaos Lancelot doesn't seem that much stronger than his pre-timeskip base form.

Before the timeskip, base Lancelot was on par with Carthur and Nanashi.

Arthur even mentioned that Lancelot's strength fell short of Meliodas.

While it's unclear if he meant base or Demon Mark Meliodas, let's assume it was base Meliodas for now.

Current Chaos Lancelot is two years older, has undergone Anne's magic training, and now possesses both a Chaos buff and a weapon.

However, his current strength only seems on par with Zeldris, especially since he bled from one of Zeldris's kicks.

Naturally, this means he is still significantly weaker than Assault Mode Meliodas, who could likely low-diff his own brother.

That said, when Lancelot actually powers up, his scaling skyrockets.

For context, he went from being evenly matched with Nanashi to completely no-diffing him—perception-blitzing and one-shotting him with a single kick.

That is an insane jump in power.

Knowing this, can you imagine what Chaos Lancelot will do to Zeldris once he finally powers up?

I think Merlin’s statement about Lancelot surpassing the Demon King is absolutely true.

Lancelot is about to no-diff Zeldris even harder than Escanor did.

And yes I also believe Dark Hazy Moon is making an appearance very soon to signify Lancelot powering up.

Who's willing to bet ? 😂

This chapter mainly proves that we were seriously mistaken in claiming that Lance absorbed enemy magic solely through his own magic. He does it thanks to the lake, since the energy he generates around himself seems to be that lake, as Zeldris just stated. Basically, Lance can materialize the lake around himself and thus absorb attacks.

This chapter didn't shock me that much; I was already expecting it, given what the author has already shown of Lance's fights against the SDS characters.
This almost confirms my theory about Hazy Moon; she manipulates the flow of magical energy from herself in a pure way, and Lancelot, now having access to the lake's energy, has access to its properties.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

But this ends up making Lancelot more dependent on the Lady of the Lake than I imagined.

But this ends up making Lancelot more dependent on the Lady of the Lake than I imagined.
I think Lancelot never had an ability that absorbed attacks for him; rather, he possessed so much magic that he could manifest it as a magic vortex.

This vortex simply swallows everything it comes into contact with, just as any natural vortex would.

However, this depends entirely on the power of the incoming attack versus the power of the vortex itself.

Some attacks cause Lancelot to bleed because the vortex isn't strong enough to absorb them, while others are completely nullified because the vortex is powerful enough to handle them.

I think the lake, simply by being a manifestation of enormous magic, has the natural ability to absorb things into it, just like it absorbed the Nemesis attack.

In the end, Lancelot’s absorption might be able to handle Nemesis-level attacks if he can tap into his full power.

When you don’t actually understand how an ability works, I think it’s better to admit that you don’t know rather than make up explanations. 😂

First of all, the power of Shining Road isn’t directly tied to Lancelot’s physical strength.
And there’s one important detail you’re seemingly ignoring: when the Lady of the Lake states that Shining Road at its peak will surpass Nemesis, she’s basing that assessment on Lancelot’s magical power That she considers to have the greatest potential

Basically, based on the information we currently have from the manga, the power Lancelot can unleash through his attacks mainly depends on two factors:

1. His magical power and his magical reserves.
You need to understand that these are two different things. His magical power is not the same as his infinite magical reserves.
His reserves don’t directly determine how powerful his magic is, but they allow him to keep using that power without being limited by a finite supply of magic.
In other words, his magical power can grow independently of his reserves, while his infinite reserves allow him to keep utilizing that power without running out of magical fuel. It’s like always having enough storage and data to install every system update: the available storage doesn’t determine how powerful the system is, but it allows you to keep using and upgrading it without running into storage limitations.

2. The weapon he uses.
Lancelot needed a weapon capable of withstanding his immense magical power so that he could properly utilize it. His current weapon seems to fulfill precisely that role.

And that’s it, at least based on the information we currently have from the manga.
Your explanation that Hazy Moon constantly circulates his magic throughout his body to enhance his physical abilities might be an interesting theory, but nothing in the evidence you’ve presented establishes it as fact.

So before inventing an entire physical enhancement system based on your assumptions about how Hazy Moon works, you should first learn to distinguish what the manga actually establishes from what you’re imagining.
Because right now, everything you’re adding beyond the confirmed information is largely speculation. 😂🤣

There should be a difference between:

Magical energy= the energy used as fuel for magic
Magic= The manifested power of an individual can be innate, learned, or inherited.
Magical force= the strength of a magic

I'm saying his magical power is tied to his physical strength because when his magical power levels up, so does his physical strength.

Lancelot's magical power scales based on the strength of the stream coursing through his veins.

Which he sometimes manifests as a vortex of magic that we see him use often; Galahad was very clear about this.

I think each character has a magical reserve relative to their magical power, except for Lancelot due to his unique situation.

However, I believe his magical power will eventually catch up to his reserve once he receives his ST.

I do not think his magic is actually infinite; rather, it functions more like a regenerative power source—similar to having 1,000 MP that remains stuck at 1,000 MP no matter how many times it is used.

It's all well and good to speculate, but when the work itself makes it clear that Lance possesses the greatest magical power besides his infinite reserves, isn't it absurd to try to link his magical strength to his physical power, given that magical power itself exists?

I'm not speculating; this is exactly what the text says. The issue is that the meaning gets lost in the English translation, leaving many readers completely unaware of what is actually being described.

In the original text, Lancelot's magical power is consistently described as "muddy water" (daykoryo), but its intensity changes like the current of a river depending on his physical condition:
  • 1. Nerfed Lancelot (A Small Brook):
When Galahad describes the magical field radiating from a nerfed Lancelot, he uses the word Ogawa (a brook or small stream) of muddy water.
  • 2. Un-nerfed Pre-Timeskip Lancelot (A Mighty River):
When Nanashi faces Lancelot before the timeskip—when Lancelot is at full strength—he describes his power as a Taiga (a mighty, massive river).
  • 3. Lancelot with Nanashi's Sword (A Vortex):
Later, Gawain describes Lancelot's magic as an Uzumaki (a vortex or whirlpool) of muddy water.
Conclusion: As the terminology shows, the Japanese text explicitly scales the description of Lancelot's magic based entirely on his physical state and power level.

Wait, I think I've figured out something groundbreaking about the Lady of the Lake and her absorption ability. Let me explain:

In many world mythologies, Chaos is the origin of creation—representing the universe's state before the introduction of light, order, or the divine decree "Let there be light."

In most of these myths, this primordial Chaos is depicted as either primordial darkness or a primordial sea.

Here is how this connects to the lore:
  • The Water-Like Nature of Chaos:
Because creation existed inside this primordial water before taking shape, it perfectly explains the Lady of the Lake's absorption ability. Just like the mythical primordial sea, she holds the raw materials of creation within her.
  • The Darkness of the Primordial Sea:
In mythology, this cosmic water was shrouded in absolute darkness because light had not yet been created.
  • Lancelot’s Evolution:
As some of you know, I previously spoke about the Dark Hazy Moon. However, that wasn't a pitch-black darkness like the one found in ancient myths. Based on this connection, Lancelot might eventually evolve his Hazy Moon into a pitch-black state, fully channeling that mythological, primordial darkness.
