Speaking of Kardiez and his spirit spear fragment, isn't it basically connected to the Sacred Tree?

So, if that fragment arrived from the future, does that mean the current Sacred Tree has access to future info from its future fragment?

The gradual shift away from the new characters and the 3KotA and back to the old established main characters of NNT has really hurt this manga in its pacing and its content, not to mention that Lancelot and Cath as a villain duo also suck.

Why are we wasting time on Meliodas and his mental state or the feelings of Elizabeth and Meliodas as a couple for each other? Their conflicts were solved, their relationship status is completely irrelevant to this story arc and if it only serves as a tool to give Meliodas motivation back to stand against Lancelot then it is an ill-chosen narrative tool. The focus on Diane and King and their family after the timeskip was still fine since it also introduced new characters and exposed new and old readers to their extended family. I said this before and I don't wanna mope needlessly on about this but Meliodas, Elizabeth and Ban take up waaayy too important roles and panel time in where we are right now in the manga. Their participation should not be as relevant as it is portrayed because this no longer feels like a sequel to the first series but more like an extension of NNT. Funnily enough Nakaba said he wanted to have this series as a stand-alone that can be understood even by new readers who have had no experience with NNT but in the process he has begun to rob it of the aspects that distinguished it from the first series. Tristan, Gawain and Percival, the 4 Perils and their related characters, the platoon members, Balin, Gareth, Bors, none of these people are in focus, none of them seem to matter. I didn't start reading this series only so that the dynamic all-powerful duo of Ban and Meliodas can heroically step up again and fix shit once more. I wanted to see a baton pass to a new generation that still hasn't happened and I wonder at this point if it will ever come because it isn't even clear if Nakaba will have the balls to kill of established characters in the long run. We might not even see that.

What are we doing here? I feel like week in, week out I am living in that meme of "trust me bro, just 50 more weeks, bro, then the manga will be back on track. It will be so good, bro, please, don't quit, just stay for a little longer, just half a year so Nakaba can cook bro, it's worth is, I promise" :emocat:emocat:emocat

I really, really want to like this manga, I really want to give it a chance but at this rate I feel like I am losing all interest with every week that passes and focuses on things this series absolutely doesn't need. Even art-wise Nakaba can't even be arsed anymore to finish drawing some of his newer characters. We get huge close-ups and double page spreads of Mel and Elizabeth and Beltreipe dueling Tristan is drawn as a fucking silhoutte. You can't find a more fitting and equally sad and pathetic visual display that sums up the state of this manga currently. Hollowed out, devoid of idendity, utterly subpar and uninteresting.

Well, just stop reading since the work doesn't meet your expectations.
Personally, I doubt you'd continue reading if you truly found it mediocre and uninteresting.
Zarma, because we're talking about the new generation, the old ones shouldn't matter anymore.
SERIOUSLY

Well, I'm close. I wanna at least wait one or two more chapters to see if we get some actual training with the Perils or, depending on content, to determine where Lancelot goes next. If nothing interesting happens, I'm probably out.

As for your assumption that I wouldn't continue reading if I truly found it mediocre or unteresting, it is not that simple. I have quit manga before that I found truly bad and unenjoyable. But I also have some mild to serious cases of COD that can make it tricky for me to just quit in the middle of something that I have started, even if it doesn't do me good physically or mentally.

Meliodas saw Tristan training by himself , so the 3KOTA probably no diffed the perils at first day of training because the perils turned out to be a bunch of fodder without Chaos buff 😂

Speaking of Chaos buffs, what exactly did it grant Lancelot?

So far, it seems to me that it simply gave him the ability to utilize his full power without breaking his weapons.

In a way, it makes him look like Lancelot with a Sacred Treasure.

But then again, did he learn that new ability, 'Remnants of Destruction,' because of the Chaos buff?

The Chaos Knights didn't seem to recognize it at all.

While the ability is clearly tied to his 'Hazy Moon' magic, maybe the Chaos buff is what brought it out in the first place—meaning he would have never thought of using it without being buffed by Chaos.

This makes me think Lancelot might actually be stronger after this experience, which feels a bit unfair to the rest of the 4Kota who didn't get a Chaos buff.

With this chapter it should be debatable that Zel is NOT dead right ? I‘m pretty sure Schwarz managed to get himand somehow got tf out of the DR before Lancelot destroyed it all.

The main argument for Zeldris’ death was his speech to Meliodas which was considered an afterlife convo but with this chapter as we saw with Elisabeth, the other party don’t necessarily need to be dead for this kind of discussion to take place. At worse Zeldris is also in a coma somewhere with a seriously wounded Schwarz taking care of him.

i wouldn’t be surprised if in next chapter during some meetings between Mel and the others he mentions that Zeldris is dead but Percy said that it’s strange/false as his life spirit is not back to the spirit realm.

Yeah, Eli, Zel and maybe Jericho are fake out by Nakaba.

Only Ban gonna die since he doesn't much time anyway unless Merlin pull something.

Still gonna die tho.

Even Ban's not gonna die bro , Lancelot probably just used his "Moon of 18" technique to exorcise him of Chaos like he did the four evils.

But this time he's gonna have his ST so he'll be able to exorcise it fully.

which btw means Lancelot can kill Immortals.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

In other words, all Lancelot has to do is use his Moon of 18 against Ban to drag the Chaos out, and then use his full-powered Shining Road to destroy the Chaos, thereby saving Ban from Chaos possession , It's literally what he tried to do to the four evils but couldn't because his sword broke.

Of course I don't think this is what's gonna happen , Cath will escape from Ban before Lancelot manages to nuke him and then eats Arthur whole somehow.

Thus we get Full Chaos Cath vs 4KOTA.

The manga is currently being written as though Meliodas is the main character which is odd. I don’t remember what Gawain and Percy are doing and Tristan is being used as added weight for a Meliodas plot .

Calm down Bro!

It's not such a big deal to focus on Meliodas or other old gen protagonist for several chapters. Ignoring them too much is a bigger mistake. Like everyone can ask wtf are they doing remaining in their shelters putting all the responsibility on a bunch of youngling. They have to have their moment. Mel made the vow to stop Arthur when he goes awry.

I think you are overreacting a bit. I don't know the exact source of it, but you are one of the more level headed members here. It would be good to have you around. I admit part 2 is kind of trash, specially after Lancelot's debut. It's so shallow compared to NnT and early 4KotA. It lacks the charm, it lacks the innovative nature of them. It's mostly because Nakaba always fails to give many different characters the attention they deserve. He even stated them in an interview or Q/A as far as I remember. That he creates too many characters and has problems dealing with them!!

Even more than a momentary domination of Lancelot over the plot, I hate the fact that Cath Palug a worthless, pointless and useless foe was used as the main villain for the first two major arcs. That's a huge letdown. The worst possible decision. But the story has still some moments of familiar joy.

The nasty truth is that a story about Arthur and his knights hasn't even begun!! We are completely stuck in the final arc of NnT with the dumbest villain and a bunch of old characters who have both the power and responsibility to stand against him. Some SDS focused mini arcs shouldn't be that irritating my friend. Let's hope this madness ends soon. The next part should be way better with Arthur as the king and the 4KotA and grail knights and others as his knights of the round table. All hope is not lost. There's a near zero possibility that Nakaba writes a better story in part 3 after Cath is dealt with.

It's your decision to drop it or read it. If it annoys you that much, you don't have to suffer needlessly. However, some focus on Mel and Ban isn't a strong reason for that if you ask me. They deserve to be relevant to some degrees. They do not steal the show. Percy saved Zel and King alongside their realms from Behemoth and Worreldane respectively. Lancelot outshined Mel and Ban in their fight against fake Arthur and the 4 perils. Merlin and Arthur couldn't be found without Gawain's help. And Tristan has a magic that in theory, can compete with OG magic Mel.

About Tristan's training, I'm not a big fan of Beltriepe's depiction. But don't forget it's just a dream. In which Ellie talks to Mel about Tristan. Bel has a minimal presence within the dream because the focus is on Tristan.

If the whole training is shown, we will see 4Perils more. If it's offscreened, it means there will be many surprising revelations and twists when they show the results. The same goes for Dubs made gears.

I'm indifferent to many concepts that part 2 is following, but jumping to conclusion or getting so upset because Mel got the spotlight for a number of chapters is too much bro.

All fake outs , Nakaba didn't even have the guts to keep Escanor dead.
Does the audience have the guts to say goodbye to Zel? Or keeping Escanor dead is the only thing everyone wants?
