I used to think the exact same way, but it actually kinda makes sense for her to absorb residual energy since they're souls after all. I keep thinking back to when Mira was a kid and absorbed a demon at the church. I really doubt it was a physical creature considering she only transformed her arm completely by accident, without even knowing she was using magic.

P.S. Larcade's residual energy is in the guild hall.

I can't wait to see how Gray and Juvia will reach this level soon too when they defeat dragon Anchor.




So now seriously, she never showed any curse from the other Tartaros members besides Seilahs and this is a pure FACT. It doesn't matter what Mirajane said, because the facts are different. Not to mention that many members were already dead during that time, Mard Geers book was even destroyed from Zeref himself, how should his soul be still there? Also, what does she even mean with all souls of Tartaros? Tartaros had many demons, also many 0815 members, where is the proof that she literaly consumed all Tartaros members? And if this is the case, why she never used their curses? Just because?

Also, where is the proof that Mashima planed this since the Tartaros arc? If this would be the case he would have already used some of the curses but he didn't what proofs more that he just add the thorn curse and never planned this. It can also be called a retcon, like many other things too not only in FT but also in other shonens.


It's cool that she can use it and maybe other curses too, I like it, but it just doesn't make sense and that in many ways.


Things like that destroying previous things, battles, etc in the manga like her battles against Jacob, Acnologia, Lucy, Skullion, Daemon and even against Scissor/Levia. Because if she can really use all powers, many battles would be different and would be better.

She doesn't even need the others, just the simple fact that she can now use the thorn curse a powerful curse (Mard Geer best example) could have change so many things and now these things doesn't make sense, just because she never used it.

Why Ever ain't spamming stone eyes. 90% of the s12s in Alvarez could have won their battles if they just used their hax to a mediocre degree. He doesn't know how to effectively counter these hax so he doesn't even write the enemies utilizing it unless he has a way to effectively counter it. He even stated in an afterword that hax bust PLs and it's hard to write around them. The guy rather draw battles that involve physicality and explosion rather than intricate battles that really utilize a character's hax in an efficient way. So when he does, it's a surprise for sure and sometimes can be seen as bs, but it's not bcs he had explained said abilities beforehand. He just didn't utilize efficiently until now.

Also, what is the reason that a Seilah form exists in the first place? If she can use all curses with Alegria because "she ate Tartaros" then makes Seilah form not much sense, same with Alegria, because Alegria was never a fusion of all demons.

Well imo it was more because he had no idea how to use their abilities or because of his own laziness or that of the publisher. There are enough possibilities how to use the power of the S12 and also how to defeat them. It' just that Mashima and other authors don't like it to use other characters than the main cast. What is a shame because this was one of FT (manga) strongest points, the balance between main and side characters.

It's true that many characters never showed us their fullpower or special abilities not only in FT but overall in shonens. Just like Erza doesn't use her Nakagami armor against Irene, Laxus or Misaki.

But that still doesn't change the fact that it doesn't make sense that she can use all curses with the Alegria form. Like I said, other forms like Seilah form would not make sense anymore.

You can like it if she can use the curses or not but this doesn't mean it makes also sense. Imo it doesn't make sense it all even though I like it that she can use the curses. But it would make more sense if she would use at least the forms of the 9DG like the Seilah form.

Alegria was introduced with a thorn crown and Mira saying she absorbed all of the souls a decade ago in July 2016. Lmao how is this surprising to them? It's basic crap a child could understand. The lady with the thorns on her costume can shoot thorns like???? Is this the twilight zone?

And that with Alegria, she only consumed the remaining souls of Tartaros. Many demons were already dead thats a fact. So she can't even have forms of demons who were already dead. Mard Geers bock was destroyed, there can't be a soul left.

I wonder if in the raws she says the same, because it doesn't make sense.
