Games Mafia Game 145 - Vampire Crawlers - Day 3

[Marmalade]

Not sure what to think about Lawl overtaking me in the votes tbh Is there an opportunistic scum amongst those voters trying to get rid of a strong player?

You’re sad your popularity is dropping?~ I lowkey just want to vote for you for fun but I shall refrain from that right now.

It’s been awhile since I’ve played with Lawl but I don’t think this kind of careful start of his is out of the ordinary for him. The claim makes me hmm a bit, but I still think it could fall both ways.

What about you?

I’m going to think about all players for a bit and I will post that hopefully before voting if I can.

I do think the piling on a couple of people are quite unlike normal “oh lets spread” type of day 1 phases so Im curious about that. Its interesting

[Lady pompom]

Ok use more than intuition

I did, don’t trust your role hint/claims.

I just think that in the context of me being Vanilla it is interesting that the initial push for me quickly cooled off after I spelt out the obvious meaning behind my initial hints.

Lawl describing his role as tricky (active) isn't necessarily problematic imo. It probably makes sense to him to describe it that way, but it doesn't add a lot of clarity for the rest of us. Still, the active claimers are in the minority and I don't think what he has said is flagrant enough to lynch him even if he is an excellent player.

--- Double Post Merged, Wednesday at 6:48 AM, Original Post Date: Wednesday at 6:47 AM ---

If I was going off of vibes I'd lynch Codogga, Tatsdogga, or Pomdogga atm tbh

[Lawl Po Bia]

Btw if I was a mafia in this game I’d be hyper quiet as I usually am unintentionally def wouldn’t attract attention with the way I voted but it’s also interesting to see how the things are moving so easily by such small Open window for mafias, I doubt I will be dying today

[Marmalade]

I agree that I dont find Lawls claim that problematic. In fact at this point, if I had to pick between you (Sam) and Lawl to lynch right now, I’d likely lean more towards lynching you. Maybe it is your new medication but your energy is different this game.
That does not clear Lawl however, I think thats important.

About your vibe check, I agree somewhat regards Tatsu and Panda. Pom seems alright to me so far, had a strong start in my eyes.
Tatsu is here but not really, Panda also feels somewhat noncommital and that does make me think something could be off.

I think in general I like Hardy so far this game, Dego have no clue on. Kako is quite calm, which could either mean he’s in his happy mafia place or just a chill town.
Nash is a little quiet this time, nothing about her stands out so far. Can’t be too careful though~
Vali is interesting, I’m not sure where his comfy attitude is based in.

My energy is different? Because I haven't shat out 100+ posts day 1 in a small and quiet game? Get some coffee into you please

[Marmalade]

I’d gladly take it tbh

Thats not what I mean and you know it :3 I mean energy IN the posts, not the amount. No one had really posted “much” if we go off postcount.

Also I don't think I like that you made it a me vs Lawl situation when there's also Pom, Tatsu, and Natasha up there Like two of those three you don't feel strongly about either way yet Lawl and I are dodgier?

I can't say I feel strongly about my reads on others but I think there's something a bit more to Copan, Pom, and Tatsu than there is a Lawl atm. Just my two cents. Nash hasn't stood out to me yet which is actually a bit odd, usually I feel like I have a stronger impression of her.
Vali seems level headed and less flustered than previous games; benefit of experience or benefit of knowing he's got it simple in needing to take towns out (i.e maf vali)?

The Lion is hampered by IRL social interactions and his medication + having lost the plot a bit.

2 votes for me
2 votes for lawl
1 vote for nash
1 vote for tatsu

Not much to go off for any of those though really

Did he do anything specific or is this just a yeah nah fuggit votelick lawson?

Nothing "deserving" of a lynch of course, just feels less random than other options. Then, if people come up with better picks or agree on a different strategy for a better lynch I can change it of course. As i said, the only thing i found sus so far was the vote timing. I basically never chatted before with Lawl to have an opinion on vibes.

Why are you forgetting the context that comment was made in? We were literally discussing the vote distribution.
I said if, I’m not going to vote like that. It was a vibe example. It was never a ranked sus list, just an indication if those I find more odd than others.
Opinions can differ, and honestly these are just early thoughts. Not major suspicous vibes.

I agree there is more to Panda and maybe Tatsu than Lawl at the moment. Pom I really dont see it right now, but we will see.

--- Double Post Merged, Wednesday at 8:17 AM ---

Its getting busier at work so I will have to vote during my break in a bit, a little earlier than Id like nyaaa

[Hardy]

Bruh is Lawl getting lynched just for voting Sam and giving an extra hint instead of just saying "active"?

--- Double Post Merged, Wednesday at 8:55 AM, Original Post Date: Wednesday at 8:51 AM ---

I did, don’t trust your role hint/claims.

The problem with him is adding one extra sentence?

Why is everyone treating different = suspicious?

ngl I went afk after my first response to you to have dindins so there's some disconnect between pre-dins sam thoughts and post-dins sam. Yes I am an enigma
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm if you say so Marmdogga

I dunno if I'm reading into it too much but him saying simple for his role hint and then Pom parroting it was a choice

Less random? Explain yourself because I had made three posts before you voted for me:
1. A comment on my role
2. A further comment about my role
3. Questioning you about your role

For you to vote me for that so quickly after that is odd. What then gives me an issue with you on top of that is your post here, because you're coming across as a passive player thats happy to go along with the flow rather than dig in and try to make your own strong reads Day 1.

So yeah, an early vote because I asked you a question and then a flimsy defense which sounds more hindsight-y than explaining the in the moment choice is certainly interesting.

--- Double Post Merged, Wednesday at 9:02 AM ---

He shouldn't be because imo its a non-issue. Like saying its tricky to play and then saying its active isn't inherently malicious so its a bit opportunistic/silly to be busting his balls about that

yeah that's my fear too
I voted him when he had 0 votes and look at him now
I wonder if he would have gotten those votes if I didn't vote him first hmm

[Hardy]

votekill vali x lucifer

I'm not liking any of the votes on Lawl but his in particular has the poorest explanation. Kakoha and Pom presented their OWN train of thoughts (that I don't agree at all but have at least logic in them) whereas Vali's further explanation of "it's less random" doesn't have any and is seemingly just following someone else.
