#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

I feel like with how SQ's doing right now, they're probably gonna send Kaku there instead of Weekly Jump, I can see something similar with Horikoshi, Komi & Kubo with Bleach

-Signal All Red by Izumi Hakase debuts but gets axed in 10 chapters due to a surplus in romcom

Please no, Saito. Don't serialize it in the magazine's current state, please show up when Animal Signal gets the axe.

ToC & Leak Night! We might get big news, so my predictions:

Issue #51

-A New Series will have the cover & lead color pages!

-Color Pages: Nue's Exorcist for volume release, Shinobi Undercover for vol release and Graykeith: Translator Daemonica for popularity

-For the new serialization round: I know how many series will mostly be like but i will throw a wilder prediction and say it will be 4 new series:

-Current Free Slot
-Cannon Master
-Sakamoto Days
-Witch Watch

But with a small twist that Witch Watch will not be ending literally right now but a couple of issues later, so the magazine will run with 21 series just a bit until WW ends in a couple more of chapters!

About what the series will be, if we have 4 there'll be definitely a veteran, which i would say either Tite Kubo with Bleach Hell Arc or Tadahiro Miura with one of his last one shot serialized. We'll have a failed newbie returning, between Daisuke Enoshima (Fabricant 100), Shinpei Watanabe (Ginka & Gluna) and Tadaichi Nakama (Tokyo Demon Bride Story), the other two will be complete newbies, one will finally be a GFC winner, Shirokuma Shirasaki.

Genres, definitely a typical battle shounen, or two if Bleach returns, a mix of ecchi with action or fantasy if Miura returns. I think we will have another sport and one supernatural or fantasy story.


Issue #50

-Top 5: Ichi the Witch, Sakamoto Days, One Piece, Someone Hertz and Graykeith: Translator Daemonica

-Bottom 5: Cannon Master, Class 2B Hero Destroyerz, Hal Formula, Kagurabachi and Animal Signal

-Cannon Master will not end in this issue yet, they will just use the already free slot for the 1st new series on #51

I know that a batch of 3 is the most likely outcome, but I want a batch of 4. Mainly due to the end of WW and SD. So here is my prediction. The return of Bleach with the Hell arc. As for the other 3, 2 battle series and a sports series. Since we are already filled with comedies and romance already. I did give a prediction or a fan pick in a previous comment I did a week ago so people can go back to it just in case.

Let's start with "less" interesting things with Issue #50 ToC

Top 5 : Ichi, OP, Hertz, Roku, Graykeith
Bottom 5 : Cannon Master, Hal Formula, KGB, Class 2-B, Animal Signal

And now, batch predictions.
Will be a batch of 3 imo, so we can have a cover for OP on Issue #1 with its 1200th chapter.
Well, there's a high probability to have T.Kubo and Bleach returning this batch, but I want to predict something else just for the sake of it.
So I'm gonna say Hajime Komoto will be returning with a new action fantasy series.
Gonna say Yoshida B6 will be serializing something similar (in the themes) to his GFC one-shot in 2024.
And for the third one, gonna say Tomohiro Iwakura maybe? Yeah I don't know but why not, with SD ending soon.

Since everyone's making predictions, guess I’ll throw mine in too. The last time we got a 4-series serialization batch was under Nakano, and Saito keeps doing the exact same thing like he's afraid to experiment, so we’re not getting 4 series. I'm betting on 3. Also, no Kubo—that's pure copium. Canon Master, Sakamoto Days, and Witch Watch are obviously ending. Yeah, Jump has one empty slot, and it’s gonna stay that way. As for who's actually getting serialized, hard to say—I’m guessing one newbie and two returning authors. So yeah, that's pretty much it. I’d love to be wrong about the 4-series batch, but it just feels like Jump doesn’t need that many right now.

Harukaze Mound, Kaedegami, Ekiden Bros, and Ping Pong Peril was one batch last year.

You are right that Saito experiments way less though so I'm not expecting anything crazy with this batch.

This still makes no sense. It's an old and extremely long manga, no one new will pick it up and if nostalgia was such a strong selling point, shouldn't V-Jump be selling a million copies with brand new Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yugioh and Dragon Quest series? It doesn't do even 1/10 of what Jump sells.

This maybe a hot take, but I am in the camp for Animal Signal to be axed. It’s cute and educational and all, but I need more so it has a certain “factor” that is all around appealing and draws me in more.

I don't doubt they will do it, but I doubt this will bring old readers back. Prince of Tennis, Jojo, Kenshin all continued or came back in other magazines with their original authors and declined the same way Dragon Ball Super did. I think it's more likely that will alienate current readers that won't have the means or time to read 700 chapters of Bleach than bring back old timers that stopped reading along the way and will buy the magazine for a single series.

Witch Watch is not ending yet lol. The action piece will be over for good in witch watch but there is going to be a long epilogue SoL style.

Color pages for Greykeith for popularity (please!!!!), Sakamoto Days (for climax), and Shinobi (for volume release).

3 series batch is almost guaranteed: SD ending, Cannon Master axed, and the open spot from HxH.

The 3 new series will be:

1. Bleach Hell arc. All the leakers said it's coming when SD ends and here we are.

2. Spokon: I'm guessing something martial art based whether that's kendo or something more obscure. I could also see a weird sport like swimming. I could also see the first soccer one since.... ole golazo?

3. Battle manga: I'm guessing the Tate Roll guy comes in now. I could also see them going the weird battle manga route with a CSM influence or even a highly detailed exorcist series (JJK lite).

Manga I can see working as a hollywood flick with global appeal, Harry potter and his gains. Japanese live action is wasted on thIs IP.

I am kind of hyped for this. I really enjoyed Mashel and it really could translate on the big screen. After seeing what Hollywood was able to accomplish with One Piece, I am not totally dreading this.

-Has a silent dark haired genius rival & friend that is the complete opposite of him and both keep competing to become stronger than each other, at one point even the friend wants to become the Magic Emperor too

But you know, that's obviously not Naruto influenced, that's Ichigo right? That fits totally the character lol like come on, no one is saying Tabata didn't get influenced by Berserk or Bleach, that's a known fact, but trying to downplay the nearly 1:1 to Naruto that is Asta character as "nah, it's not a influenced that's just shounen manga" when all the comparisons to Bleach or Berserk can be just treated as the same "general shounen/seinen" stuff, the difference is that i'm not trying to downplay these obvious influences for whatever reasons

I'm not even saying everything is inspired because that would be ridiculous to say, i'm very specifically talking about Asta as a main character.

I guess I did not realize that you were talking about Naruto the character and not Naruto the series. While Asta can be seen as a carbon copy of Naruto based on what you posted Ichigo fits about 2/3rd of your chosen criteria.

-Orphan with mysterious parents, the mother literally connected to that demon (Ichigo - has mysterious parents and his mother is conneted to the demon that inhabits him)
-Has a silent dark haired genius rival & friend that is the complete opposite of him and both keep competing to become stronger than each other, at one point even the friend wants to become the Magic Emperor too (Uryu - It isn't 1 to 1, but neither is Sasuke in this instance) This one is a bit of a stretch for even a BC and Naruto comparison.

So, not a 1:1 of Naruto either when Ichigo or Uryu can easily be swapped in.
