yan ang prob nung n00bs pa tau eh... we get the best hardware when we got the funds then BAM! the next month comes and there's an assortment of even higher quality hardware at a lower price... now i wait for a few months (6-18) then i buy it, para sure ako sa technical supoprt and patches, upgrades and drivers.

btw, bbsai doesn't need an old fag, she's already got one! (not a significantly old one, but older nonetheless).

how i found out? she said so waaaay back in the other versions.

Inutusan ako ng kapatid ko na pumunta ng Cubao pag labas ko sa opisina bukas para mag claim ng pinaayos naming DVD player!! Anak ng!!! tapos pagkatapos nun, pupunta pa sa SM para mag-grocery! haaaay~ pagud-pagod na naman ako nito!

BTW:

sa mga nag the thesis, wala na kong masabi. ganyan din naman naiisip ko nun e. hehehehehe. pero, take it from me, you'll definitely miss those days.

BTW again:

bbsai, I just watched Good Luck, Long Vacation and Hero starring Kimura Takuya, and seriously, he's a very good actor. He's got this charisma that'll make you like him. I finished downloading Pride but I'm saving it for my weekends. I'm watching another drama (Kekkon Dekinai Otoko) ATM (the supporting actresses there are so cute, lovable and hot ) and waiting for Hero Special to finish also.
You should try Hero bbsai. It's hella funny!

got the same problem with my first laptop, laptop + dorm commute in travel bag -> excessive shock == busted lcd monitor
btw, meron na nga palang dedicated laptop repair sa megamall. the one i went to before, in greenhillls, "accidentally" switched the HP branded power adapter with a "generic" one leading to overheating issues. eh saan ka pa ba makakahanap ng pamalit na power adapter?

buti na lang tiniyaga ko sa surplus and found a "compatible" Dell one with the same voltage and current requirements. thank heavens for my electronics training kc incompatible pa ung jack...leading to some splicing and soldering. that laptop was one problematic piece of equipment.
yonie, maybe you can go here to ncr if you want that piece repaired.....

another issue is NEVER use defective/cheap or dubious quality optical media with your laptop!!! my next laptop went from a full fledged multiple writer to a useless tray the more i tend to use those kind of things!

you've got an XPS!?!?!?

nga pala, nowadays, it's better to use virtualization to run old OS on recent hardware and OS. so kng bibili kayo ng agong processor, make sure that it has virtualization features.

my store ng hp sa trinoma. di ka nagpunta dun? sa rockwell meron din. sa trinoma ako nakakita ng mga adapter when i'm looking for a new printer. sabi nila for laptop only yun...

authorized service centers are good as long as its still under warranty. else, sakit lng ng bulsa un....

walang support ang dell for ispiron and xps, latitude lng....somewhere in makati....

NO! comsci book! book.
