That sounds likely, since Gon should be able to handle Nefelpitou by himself (or rather, he normally wouldn't be, therefore he'll win -> underdog rule), and there's no way in hell that Ikurago is ever going to take out both Werefin and the lobsterman, heck, he couldn't even defeat one of them.

Gon won against bomber in greed island...... (this was the worst part of that arc imo)
so he'll win against the almighty king too
I don't know how but he'll do it

Hmmm, I actually really liked the final battles on Greed Island... (Though I think that Killua's and Bisk's battles were, though shorter, more fun).

But Gon never 'won' against Genthru, he defeated him using Killua's trick, he was clearly losing in a direct battle, and without all those preparations, he'd never have taken him out one-on-one.

But it's not Gon's task to take out the king, he only needs to focus on taking out Nefelpitou, and his job's done. Though yes, it's highly likely that he'll eventually be drawn into the battle against Meruem too at some point, later in the story...

Even after reading all your posts I'm not sure of the meaning of Killua words/thoughts, that could be because English isn't my first language. But I don't think Killua was referring to Ikaguro, I believe he is referring to what happened after he and Gon were defeated by Shoot and Knuckle, since that part I'm very scared that Togashi could something really bad to Killua. If I remember right, after Killua took off the needle of his head and in theory freed himself of the risk of abandoning Gon, Killua said something enigmatic about him (Killua) disappearing.

Me too, seems that Togashi is trying to confuse us...Zeno is not "playful" with the King, Killua is acting strange even though he removed the needle, Netero is scared, Gon is extremely serious, the ants suspect a traitor...that' hard to follow...

Actually i would disagree. Although gon was getting his ass beaten around everywhere, if u recall the part where gon managed to kick gensuru's chin, before ALMOST finishing-moving him if not for gensuru tripping and falling over something, it shows that gon was actually quite unlucky not to successfully pull a fast one over gensuru and end the fight by his own victory

Hmm, that's because Genthru was underestimating him, if he fought seriously, he would've easily killed Gon right there. Genthru also had the disadvantage of having to keep Gon alive, at least long enough to steal his cards...

Gensuru's plan was to break Gon's will, so he can collect the cards easier. What he didn't count on is the massive underhanded plan Gon, Biskute, and Killua already set in motion.

hmm true true.. oh well. i LOVE killua, he is such a non-typical protagonist in a manga. Although some may say gon is the sole main character, i like to think they both are. .

And u wouldnt believe how happy I was when i saw that hxh is back. the newest chapter is quite confusing though

The manga is focused on their relationship, so Gon for me is equal to Killua. The only thing is that the father search has been pushed aside.

I hope he won't come to defeat the King and kill the manga right there.

no. gon's made to become a tank. he just needs decades of training, his potential is a LOT more than neterou's.
