Thats GOD level magic man! Not Gold plate level magic! I think the sprit told him he can try again if time allows. From what I infer from the chapter, it appear he failed. I think he was bleeding because his sprit grew much faster than his body can allow. Which means next time he tries he will be taller than his original size!!

Anyways, it appears this took an unexpected turn. I didn't expect for the challenge to be ended.

I kinda agree somehow I felt bad. Not because of the turn but because for the first time kuzumi really failed in something he really wanted. I wondered how he would feel about it and it seems he's concentrated to do everything to pass the trial

It's good that he failed because it shows that he can lose and also gives him a goal to work towards. It seems that his ability is extraordinarily high (this is why his body was damaged), but his capacity is extraordinarily low (this is why his magic was so small). It doesn't look like he is going to try to raise his capacity but since he's not allowed to cheat, I don't know how else he plans on improving.

The former principal said that Kuzumi's magic would probably grow exponentially after attempting the test, and that was before he realised Kuzumi's potential. So I doubt it will be very long before Kuzumi finds a way to climb the wall.

And then of course once Kuzumi is able to use magic with the Black Plate, he'll probably start growing even faster, because he'll finally be able to do what the others do.

Wow, this chapter was quite good. I find that the Former Principal ending the test really surprised me, but I think it will only serve to help Kuzumi in the end. It's also very uncommon for something like this to happen in Shounen series' in my opinion.

Is Kuzumi allowed to use MO during the test?? He could've used it to shrink the amount of wall he had to climb. But I agree that Kuzumi is trying to get up the school wall, but what does he mean by 'one breath'??

He could but the problem was: kuzumis magical body wasn't big. His body reflected the amount of magic he's capable in - well dificult to explain. But I think if kuzumi had used M0 then he would have shrunk so much that climbing a smaller wall with a smaller body won't have changed that much

@xi0: you're right. In jump such things are exceptional. We're always used to characters succeeding on their own way with some advice. Here the former principal says: it isn't of any use to suffer so hard. Imo this is a hard slap in kuzumis face. As I said: for the first time, kuzumi really failed. BUT of course kuzumi isn't also the type to give up.

My prediction: Kuzumi will climb up that wall. But I really think he'll get help. Help: magical attacks during the climbing. I wouldn't be suprised if the former principal or hiiragi will call some help from Nigasaki-sensei (if his name is correct)

Hey guys, this will be my first time posting in this neck of the woods!=P

You know, I already have formulated a way for Kuzumi to climb the wall. However this method might require a bit too much magic in Kuzumi's case. You see, my idea was for Kuzumi to make footholds so he can climb.

Kinda like how Yoshimori from the manga "Kekaishi" creates multiple ketsu to step on as if staircases when chase something airborne. If kuzumi can create multiple Mo fields, he might be able to climb the wall more easily.But again, this would require a lot of magic. My impression is that with Kuzumi, his size needs to at least reach the ankle in my estimation.

Another way I've thought off is that kuzumi might need to create a tool with mo. Like climbing claws or something.

It's a good idea, but that body is his magical power isn't it? Maybe Mo will cancel his magical body?
Dunno, I really don't see any way to climbing that wall. ( If he can't really use mo )

If anyone can do it, Kuzumi can. Hey, what about that Druid ring? If the rule is it can only be used by a person who makes it through, couldn't Kuzumi go through again and put it on? That would help make him taller.

I laughed when Lucy finally got Kuzumi in that position and the ghost ended it. I feels sorry for her.

I wonder how much longer until Aika learns the truth about Kuzumi?

I believe it was his fate to become a member of the school through out of the norm ways. He has helped and done so much good in the school. I just wonder how much longer until his friends, Aika, the other two girls, and Ise, find out the truth behind the Legend.

Since the author introduced the Black Plate, the probality of Kuzumi getting one is really high, that means he'll be able to use some magic, even if it's just a little.
Plus, with the 10 levels of the Black Plate, his ability will evolve and he might really end up being at golden-plate level with the M0 plate to also erase magic.

I agree that eventually he will 'evolve' into the gold plate user everybody thinks him to be, just not all at once.

More than that, though, I'd like to know what he does after he achieves his gold-plate status, besides granting that wish. Unless I've missed something, they're been fairly mysterious in regards to what happens to people once they graduate, but given the fact that you can't transfer in/out of the school without a memory wipe, I can't help but think that there must be something going on in the backgrounds of this story, something that the students are aware of but the reader is not...

Maybe after the graduation, the students have 2 different ways: First going back to the real world which means memory wipe, second go to another "mystery spot" which's not a school but offices and stuff, real work in these spots.

As potentially dumb as it may sound, I'd like it if there were other schools out there (and we know there are other places that magic exists, and because fo that there are likely schools built on at least one other of those places) and there was some kind of underground competition (I want to say war, but that seems a bit strong) between the schools for something more than just prestige. I'm really more into the duel type of situation in this manga; seeing how kuzumi gets out of a situation when faced with another (fallable) person is more interesting to me than him being faced with climbing a really tall wall.

But anyways, getting back on track I think its pretty obvious that kuzumi's main goal at this point will be to go down the line and get every black M0 level, and then the story will move on from there.

As far as the other 9 tests go, though, I'd say that they'll likely play to kuzumi's strengths, or at least not to his weaknesses, as I can't see them testing his magical strength 10 times in a row.....that'd be repetitive and dumb, two things that this manga has never been to me.

I don't see why the story would have to stop after 3 years, theres a whole world beyond the school walls that hasn't been defined at all, leaving literally a world of possibilities open.

I don't think that the black plate will end up being useable outside of magic zones. IF that were the case, then eventually we'd have to come across other people who can use magic outside of the zones, otherwise the story would be without any plot (nobody for kuzumi to go up against) without there being other black plate users, and finding other black plate users would detract from the significance of kuzumi's accomplishment.

The diff. schools can def play parts if the story goes that long. The 10 levels might take a while but I think somehow Kuzumi will be granted 10 levels without going through them all...after all it is depending on the tester. I would also like him to go back to the old man for more M0 skills.
