yep, looks this way to me, too. the fact that they've finally set up a rival for aika's affection in daimon is just another reason that cutting this manga short stinks

i'd also like to see mizuki discover kuzimi's secret first and it's not just because i prefer kuzumixmizuki, which i do. i just think mizuki would be a bit more accepting. also, i think that keeping aika in the dark would result in a more open ending and leave more room for sequels, etc.

Thanks for the replies. I can also seeing Mizuki as a better choice to finding out the big secret, since that would put her in a position between her friendship with Daimon and her crush with Kuzumi.

In truth, I blame the lack of action between Aika and Kuzumi on her father for keeping her at an all girls school for so long.

Speaking on the family, if all their memories of the school being magical are erased, then what if Aika fails to get a B-magic plate? Would her father not be able to speak of work near her if she couldn't remember?

well, I'm sure aika would have the memory about what subject she learned, who she met, what happened everyday except things directly related to magic. So dhiragi can talk about a magic troublemaker as if he was a normal guy. Magic is an essential part of Seinagi school life, but the normal element is still there

I don't understand why people belie a lot in the aika >< kuzumi. From kuzumis side his love is a bit obvious but men, women/girls are really though to understand. I wouldn't be suprised if kuzumi is in the friend or brother zone. And believe me then there's not a possibility for aika>kuzumi

Yeah, girls are tough to understand. But I don't think this manga is that hard to understand. And if Kuzumi is in the in brother/friend zone then Daimon is in the potato zone, lol.

as a girl, it seems to me like kuzumi is not in the "friend zone" with aika. she clearly has some feelings for him, but just doesn't act on them. it's kind of hard to say why she doesn't, but i think her dad probably has a lot to do with it. if anything, it's daimon who's in the friend zone. poor mizuki seems to be stuck there as well, but kuzumi sends her mixed signals. he says really sweet things to her sometimes, but i think it's mostly just him being a nice guy, not because he has feelings for her since we all know he's been head-over-heels for aika since chapter 1.

Well, it is humanly possible to fall in love with two people for two, possibly different, reasons.

But as for comparing the two guys, Kuzumi was right in this chapter saying what skills Daimon has over him, but I think that's another thing Kuzumi has on his side over Daimon is a non-cold attitude. Daimon is a cold analyst most of the time. He seems to get pleasure from winning completely and has such a high pride from his actions that he sees himself above people, ie, he doesn't fully respect others.

Kuzumi will respect most anyone in his squad or class, mainly because he couldn't do anything at first, but it remains that was to this day. He came from nothing in that school. Heck, he was below nothing, but through his hard work, he made many close friends. And helped inspire these friends with kind, smart words and actions. Heck, it's shown just how much the girls accept him as a good man when the whole cross dressing thing came to light and he lied. Everyone knows Kuzumi is an overall nice guy who rarely insults anyone and treats most people with kindness and encouragement. Unless they get on his bad side that is.

I think it's this quality that attracts Aika and Mizuki to him.

yeah, i agree with you here. i prefer mizuki as well. aika is made out to be a little too perfect, i think. even her "negative" qualities (laughing at bad jokes, clumsiness, etc) are made out to be endearing.

i agree, but i just don't think kuzumi has fallen for mizuki. i mean, they basically went out on a date of sorts (though i don't think he realized it) and afterwards all he could do was think about aika. not a good sign for mizuki, i'm afraid. i just don't think there are going to be enough chapters left for him to change his mind and fall for mizuki

...and we find out the Kuzumi wakes up from a coma (or dies) and everything about Seinagi and magic were just a dream. => I just finished re-reading all of Pretty Face and its junked out alternate ending is a possibility.

Lol, if that really happend then it wouldn't supprise me. Kano certainly has something for out of place comas. Also, seeing the very forced ending of Pretty face ( although it managed to end well ) I think Mx0 will have a similiar ending to that. Either his secret will remain but his feeling for Aika will be revealed OR his secret will be exposed but his feelings will not. Either one is required for an open ending, but not both.
