In terms of painfully pedantic axiomatic maths/logic, the definition of 2 is often 1+1. If you're using your definitions properly you wont come across contradictions like that.

Trans, when does it equal 11? Base-1?
the "+" can also be the Boolean operator OR in which case 1+1=1
except in the case of XOR then 1+1=0

note also that "+" can be replaced by "V" if using Formal Logic operators instead.

so that squiggle thing you used is incorrect it`s V, and something like "/\" for AND.
