i was watching the game online at my station while i'm taking calls man, 101-70. that defense was the best i've seen team USA play. as soon as jason kidd gets the ball he throws it to the end of the court like it's a rock and then someone on the team catches it and dunks it home like it's a new york playground, amazing performance really. looking forward to lithuania and russia

yeah great D.. that's what they're preparing all year long since the FIBA americas.. also unstoppable when on open court.. I liked to see Dwight Howard break the board.. I felt like his dunks were soft that game..

noooo, they might be overhyped, but definitely not overrated. in fact, a lot of those players i can say are underrated. kobe is still the best basketball player in the world, lebron is the unstoppable slasher, carmelo the bigshot kid, and dwyane wade is DWYANE WADEEEE~~~~ my favorite player on that roster is still wade. he's like the fusion of lebron and iverson.

i just hate having missed all the fun you guys had for all the time i couldn't locate this website. i did have trouble over redirection...i wonder why brothers can b such a prick???? i searched for solutions over this dilemma for like three days!!! %&*&^#@!~

at first i thought there was glitch, like i was banned--then got the idea i was redirected! i looked over the page source of the resulting page when i typed mangahelpers or its proxying/cached links, but its all ok! no meta tag or javascript indicating i was being redirected!

in the end, i found out all links directing to this site was looped back to yahoo in the Windows host file--pretty damned sneaky act, that sexist p** did! last time i asked him he said it could adware or phising --but heck--adwares and phising dont redirect to yahoo, i knew that by heart! i know he was trying to play innocent, but theres more to this than meets the eye...

its a good thing i dont really know the girl hes going out with, or i would really talk away the kind of guy he is!!!

sorry, but am really just frustrated by this incident..got no one to vent this out on.

Unless of course, if he redirected it, his motive was so you'd minimize your time using the internet and thus increase his time with the PC.

still. He should have talked to you first if he found it a problem. I mean, those tricks are done when you're like, sixth grade.

well... better put a password on your PC... the boot-up password... I believe it's in your CMOS. there's 2 kinds of passwords for that; CMOS password and the boot-up password. use both for a week, just don't forget both passwords, let's see who'd be groveling to use the pc.

care to teach me on that? problem is, this puter has two admin acct. users. his acct is also admin acct. thats password protected. the other one is family acct that also admin without a password. and he got broader technical-based know how on software, hardware and system programs than i do. being elder that he is, i tried to be diplomatic by not confronting him..

you know how you can get back to him? when you turn on your computer, press the DEL key. it will go to your BIOS. now look for the password boot-up setting. now create a password. everytime you turn on the computer, it asks for the password immediately. or you can always slap him silly

anyway if he messed up the windows host, then creating a profile for firefox won't help, everytime you access mangahelpers it will redirect to yahoo, unless you clean up the hosts everytime. your best bet is to access the admin acct (your family admin), create an admin for yourself WITH a password. there is a way for him to still hack your puter but if he does know that way, then heh, you can't do anything, he's good.

thanks but i betthat wont help.. he managed to hack the admin password once under a limited user acct. i dunno how he did it, its either by by dos or by by remote system manipulation or harddisk transfer,whatever ...im at his mercy, you know... i can only strive to find job so i can have my own puter... i wish hed stop doing that, hes actually causing a drift..i wonder if hes aware of that.. im practically wishing he'll ask assistance<in whatever way> so i can prove him wrong about fraternal relationships. i am very much tempted to get back at him, but i think itll only make matters worse. what could be the possible reason for his actions?

can you guys give me hints how to soften him a bit, without being so obvious in effort, so he wont see it as way too fancy?

duchess, yeah try what hunt said. Confront him when your parents are around, hee. That way the parents can also jump in on him, he'd feel cornered so he can't walk away (since you're eating dinner and all) and after that he'll think about it.

When he's alone you can follow up on him and ask about the times you can arrange for PC use or something. Since you're mostly on nocturnal schedule anyway, maybe he'd allow you the whole night to have the PC for yourself?
