Think about it this way. It was Laws Room. If Kyros did infact kill DD, Kaidou wouldn't be able to whoop his ass or the balance of the 3 powers wouldn't be wrecked to crap. Or maybe it was Pica's Rock Clone... Who knows, DD is not dead.

Haven't seen this yet, but I believe Kyros will get the Mera Mera no Mi. If in fact he lost his real leg(whichever one it was) there is a possibility that he could use it the same way Kuzan uses his logia.
