it's far better now with version 2! that scene was really sad :( and you were able to choose the right colors to increase the sadness of the moment and so its quality!!! great job of light and shadows!

As Absolutio said, a tutorial is a must from my point of view, because you can learn very much. Expecially, you should learn to work with layers, which is a main feature in ps... keep practicing without getting discouraged! You'll see results pretty soon, I assure you!

maybe, for the lightning I would suggest you to use more "lights" [no pun intended XD] expecially the white colour in a way that contrasts more the yellow anyway, it's nice!!!
