The Straw Hats. Why? To simply put it: because they are the main heroes, that's why.
They will always overcome whatever foe they find, because they need to win (plot-wise). And even when they do get beat (as before time-skip) that's also to move the story foward... not even one of them died...
Re: One Piece Chapter 791 Spoiler Discussion
It would actually be a lot better if it didn't. Some chapters ago Zoro went all "Im gonna take care of this" and, alone, have done nothing (!) important other than a failed attempt to stop the strings using buso haki...
I was really, REALLY hoping...
You do realise they have photos and means of comunications, which was displayed 2 chapters ago on this series and multiple times on the main manga, right?
There's not a single reason for him not to have a photo IF he really gave a damn about her..
So yeah, he is still a jackass father, lol...
Re: Bleach 625 Chapter Discussion / Predictions
During the transition phase between the Fullbringer arc and this current arc, Kubo stated in the bonus material promoting the Quincie's arc that he wanted to it last longer that all of the previous arc until then... So yeah, it can - and mostly...
Re: Bleach 625 Chapter Discussion / Predictions
I don't think that the RG being "killed" off-panel is a coincidence... As Ichibei (and many, many other characters) already proved Kubo can make comebacks that make little to zero sense when he wants to. If you ask me, they either: a) tricked...
I really, really, really wanted to care for this new take into the Naruto-world but damn Kishimoto is making it hard for me.
Since the end of the regular series I really thought that no sequence could be made because: a) the world finally saw what peace between nations could acomplish; b) no...
The birdcage still up by no means equal Mingo being okay. Since Zoro said he would deal with the birdcage it was clear to me that it wouldn't go away even if Doflamingo was defeated. At least that is what I got out of that.
Which I have to say it really feels out of context since early in this...
Re: Bleach 625 Chapter Discussion / Predictions
Because, despite his surprised face in this last chapter he:
a) already knew Grimmjow was with Urahara back when he was still in Hueco Mundo;
b) plus the fact that since he is a lot stronger he probably knew there was no need to go all crazy...
Re: One Piece Chapter 785 Spoiler Discussion
To people still defending Mingo, let me just ask - you do realise that he could be considered the most dumb (yeah, I said it) villian to have ever faced Luffy, right? And allow me to show you why:
- He is showcased as a strategist and YET he just...
Re: One Piece Chapter 785 Spoiler Discussion
Actually, with this whole God Ussop thing he might get a bounty higher than Luffy's. And Oda sure like to troll with the bounties sometimes.. I can see that happening...
Re: One Piece Chapter 785 Spoiler Discussion
Why?
And on that note why people continue to say Luffy can't just trash Doflamingo? Like, seriously? Why can't the protagonist who a while ago took 2 whole years to prepare exactly for cases like this one (and lets not forget he ended his...
My bet is on Akainu, he will do something that will require immediate attention from Luffy. And this might be how the manga ends as well. Since Marineford I always felt it would all come down to a war on that scale, but now instead of WB and his allies would be Luffy along with all the people he...
At least that is done to either help explain the panel in some mangas or just to add some 'feeling' so the character can scream how hes punching/punishing someone...
But, even in that world, talking to your own hand seems a pretty damn crazy thing to do... I mean, he expected his arm to hear...
I know that comedy has a big part in OP and since the beginning this manga is full of techniques with silly names but that line must be the most borderline dumb thing said in the whole series... I know is kinda fitting with the attack and all but Oda did really think that Luffy talking to his...
Well... I think it all comes down to the point that Kubo didn't seem to have a general idea where he wanted to go since day 1 and he was literally making things up as he went.
To be fair (!) he might knew what he wanted until the end of Aizen's plot but thats about it. The reason I mention...
