That's very interesting. Shinohara had a really sucessfull series in the past but the editors said no to Kanata and no room for negotiation? He basically begged to publish the manga on Jump+. They were hard with him with the excuses "the manga doesn't have a positive mc and doesn't fit on WSJ's...

I did read the first chapter of Yozakura Family and in my opinion it's ok. Too many characters, but obviously that was intentional and we should see some development of them in next chapters. The girl mc was amazing with her understandment (she wanted to marry probably, but understood his problems).

I'm really excited about Yozakura. Loved the GFC's winner one-shot and liked Poro, so I'm cheering for this mangaka. The art is dope too. Btw, Black Clover's CP:

I'd love a horror/supernatural manga in Jump like Shiki or even Kiben Gakuha (Furuadate's previous work) or Gakkou no Kaidan. I know this style fits better and can be more developed in Seinen magazines, but something with horror in a school scenario would be amazing for me. Even some battle...
